I really like Chipotle...love their chips! I will choose Americanized Mexican (as I like to call it) over real Mexican any day. I had chicken tacos with lettuce, sour cream and cheese. I'm not adventerous when it comes to toppings, I keep it simple. I really like their chicken it's got a great seaoning to it. I love that they use nice crisp romane lettuce not iceburg. Price isn't bad at all because you're getting quite a bit, but if you're not expecting it you'll be a tad suprised because it's really just fast food. But when you get tacos there are 3 and it will definitely fill you up, add an order of chips and you'll be stuffed! read more

Let's start by saying I am a long time serious lover of chipotle. One night after a late night at work I stopped here to get a burrito bowl, it was around 9:10. Everyone working seemed as though they were bothered by the fact that customers were still coming in. They were out of almost everything I wanted, and when I asked if there would be more I got an eye roll. By the end of the ordering experience I got a bowl for free which was nice. I've worked in a similar place and also was not excited about costumes coming in right before close but I really don't think attitude is going to help anything. Now, I've been to a few Chipotle Mexican Grills in my day, but this one, while serving exactly the same items, and being run in exactly the same fashion, must be the best Chipotle Mexican Grill in the world. They have burritos, and tacos, and you can even get your burrito without a tortilla! The soda fountain features a brilliant array of flavors, and the restrooms are quite accessible. I eat here a couple times a month for lunch. There can be a long line, but it always moves fast. The food is as good as any other Chipotle. Usually very generous with the salsa and sour cream. When it's busy the staff are all moving quickly but still friendly. read more

This restaurant was a great specimen of a Chipotle. The sofritas were warm and spicy as usual, just wish I would have asked for a tiny bit more on my salad. Very tasty sofritas tacos, according to my husband, and my dad loved his sofritas burrito. My mom was the lone carnivorous holdout, and she got the chicken burrito. She had a little trouble managing the size but then we taught her how to unwrap the foil and be the boss of the burrito. Decently quick service and friendly people. This particular Chipotle (on Clybourn) is always on top of it... the portions of meat you get are bigger than at most around the city. The lunch line moves *fast.* Staff is really friendly, like at most Chipotles. The place is plenty big, too... Could deal with less screaming kids at lunchtime (who gives a toddler a burrito? Isn't that asking for it?) and the tables could be wiped up a little faster during the busy lunch hour. read more

Great chipotle. What makes it better? It's in the city with parking. The staff are friendly and the customers are generally cool. I am a huge fan of chipotle as a whole. Fresh food, vegetarian options and healthy kid meals. I know the location gets a lot of traffic since they are always refreshing the line. read more

Let me start off by saying that I LOVE Chipotle! The food is usually to die for and you always have enough for leftovers. So my boyfriend and I live down the street and we have been to this location a few times now. This is the first time I've been disappointed in a Chipotle in my life. We always get a burrito bowl, I like carnitas and my boyfriend likes the chicken. The last two times we went there they went overboard on portion control. I like to get a little bit of everything in my bowl. But the last two times we went they barely put any salsa, very little sour cream, and cheese...what cheese?? There was literally maybe a teaspoon of cheese. I asked if they could add a little more cheese and they said no. I get it, they need to make sure they aren't going overboard with the toppings and look out for their food costs. But when there are NO toppings it defeats the purpose of going. For the first time ever I was able to finish my bowl and I was actually still hungry, if that paints a better picture for you of how little they put in there. People have become accustomed to a certain standard and when you decide to change that and give less food for more money, people aren't going to go there anymore. As much as I like Chipotle I rather go to Smash Burger, or Five Guys or one of the other places in the area. I would have taken a picture but my boyfriend wouldn't let me. If you're going to start serving half the amount of food....start charging less. I won't be back to this location which is sad because it is so close to my house. read more

I ordered a chicken burrito. I was not paying attention while it was made, got home and it had no chicken at all in it. It was 95% rice, 2.5% cheese, and 2.5% beans. Way to go chipotle, I will not be returning to your store again. I am a huge Chipotle fan (8-10 meals/month). First let me start by saying the location is clean and there is free parking--Yay! But what is it with the employee attitudes here? We have all read the NYT article on how to get a bigger burrito but jeez RELAX! I even get dirty looks for asking for extra salsa. And I always pay the extra $2 for guacamole. Bottom line I end up with a $10 salad that has 4 little cubes of chicken and bad vibes coming at me from across the counter. I am going back to my Old Town Chipotle--much more friendly staff. read more
