This one is current favorite, mostly because it is now the closest to my home (by about 10 minutes) and the food wasn't bad either. Fresh guac, generous fwaps of sour cream. And, they know how to roll the burrito (making it longer instead of fatter) which is key. Service needs some work, management running what should be a tight corporate operation like a sloppy hungover restaurant on its last leg. Disgrace to the Chipotle name. Supposedly opens at 10:45 am but upon arriving around 10:50 staff is still finishing up their pre-shift meal, sitting on their phones, still sweeping up garbage on the floor from the night before. No one shows any sense of urgency as the minutes tick by and customers are lining up behind me all wondering why no one is taking our orders. This place is alright. Usually get the steak burrito. You have to ask for double meat or extra meat whatever they call it. Because seriously they don't put much meat at all. This is the best Chipotle in the city. I've been here multiple times, but something felt different today. Every staff member had smile in their face, thanked me as I moved along the line and the most surprising thing is multiple staff came up to me and asked me how everything was while I was indulging my burrito bowl. One even offered to take the tray away for the customer next to me. I appreciate them taking the extra step for my burrito experience. Good job management and team! I'm not one to review a Chipotle but I was overwhelmed by the grace, kindness and great customer service from Jose at the register. I went to get a burrito bowl after a tennis workout at Midtown. I realized as I had ordered that I didn't have my wallet. I had left it at home so I was driving without a license or a credit card. In panic mode, I reached in my coat pocket to hopefully find a credit card or cash. I managed to find $10. Jose was working the register and I was embarrassed that they had prepared the food and I wasn't even sure I had enough money to pay for it. He reassured me not to worry that if I didn't have enough he would put his own money in and I could always come back to pay him. He rang me up and I realized I had enough but I was overwhelmed by his grace and kindness that I knew I had to leave a review. So thank you Jose for restoring my faith in humanity! read more

How disappointing! While it was delicious they were so chintzy on the meat. Since virtually every Chipotle is the same I usually judge it based on how they pack your burrito. It is close to my house, and close to Jewel, so I can eat something before grocery shopping, there is plenty of parking, and it's a really nice clean space. I would never criticize chipotle as a whole, I am just going to criticise this particular location. I am a chipotle fanatic, I was very excited when they finally arrived in this neighborhood. From the start I was always disappointed in both portion consistency as well as quality control. I suppose this may be due to poor management. The meats are poorly seasoned and pitifully portioned compared to most locations. I keep telling myself no more and usually drive to a different location like wicker park, sometimes I just don't have time though. My last trip to this location was very much my last. I love Chipotle but this location has never been quite up to par with the Elk Grove location i normally go to. I went during the non peak time, found parking right in front, and the counter was customer free. I ordered my bowls to go and thats when the problems started. I asked for salsa on it but they literally drowned my food to the point it was a soggy mess. The lettuce they put on it was less than 10 pieces, no lie, I asked the guy behind the counter to please add more lettuce at least 3x before he finally heard me. The attitude by the staff was just the cherry on top to this horrible visit. It's a shame too because they are the location closest to me. read more

Kind of addicted to Chipotle and have been for years. My wife hated it until she discovered the veggie burrito bowl this past year, so now I get to eat here more often than I used to. I love the chicken tacos and the barbacoa. I usually get the chicken though, it's seasoned perfectly. I've never been a fan of burritos - they are too big, so I guess I kind of make mini-burritos with my tacos because I get black beans and rice on them. Love them this way. Guacamole is delicious, not as good as the one I make at home but it'll do for restaurant guac. This location is very clean, and the staff is always fast and friendly. I could eat Chipotle everyday. It's rare that get this irritated, I've worked at shitty jobs before and understand that the staff don't actually give a shit, but it cost 18 bucks for two meals I expect a little better than today's experience. Disappointed is an understatement of how I feel about my food and service. The rice was most of the burrito, there was hardly any steak on it all all, and the beans were undercooked. Each of the people I ate with had similar complaints. The soda machine was out of 3 drink options and the staff rudely dismissed my question of if they could refill it, then the manager stepped in and was no help. Just offered me a refund for my drink and snatched the cup out of my hand. I've always liked chipotle but I'm never spending money at this branch or any other again. love chipotle!! this is my local chipotle, i can walk there. i am about to go there in 5 minutes, just hit up yelp to find the phone number. they are open til 10 everyday. woo-hoo, best friday night ever! yes, its fast food. fast, delicious, amazing food. and the guacamole is made from... avocados!! i have been here during the lunch rush with a line out the door and they get you through it in under 10 minutes. they are so fast. so if you are going to eat fast food i highly recommend you consider chipotle- fewer calories and much healthier than the burger 'n fries alternatives. and the burritos are huge, you can eat half and have lunch for the next day. ok, gotta go to chipotle now. my mouth is watering right now. read more
