I went in and the counter was absolutely disgusting with all the salsas, sour cream, and corn seeping into each other and splattered all over the place. There also always seems to be a disgruntled employee cooking as they are never full of all the food selections and when the line workers ask he usually gets upset (I've seen it multiple times on many occasions). I wish this was a good Chipotle as it's near German Village and downtown but something seriously has to happen with the staff. Will update review with photos IF I ever return. read more

That was single handily the worst experience at chipotle I've had in my entire life. And if you know me you know I love chipotle. Very, very, very disappointing. They were out of ingredients and didn't tell me until after they made the burrito and charged me. They were incredibly slow and literally nobody was in the store. Very, very sad day. This is the WORST CHIPOTLE ever!! I saw 8-10+ waiting for online orders that were likely 30-60 minutes old, while walk in customers were getting served in 10 minutes, hahaha. I asked for my order to just be canceled, but was basically told to **** off.. The manager is equally terrible. And, the cashier is clueless. Worst restaurant experience I've had in my entire life. Staff was not only unhelpful but aggressively rude to customers. Food was over 20 minutes late (they didn't even bother looking through online pick-up orders until someone complained to the manager). Two employees came out from behind the line to intentionally start an argument with and intimidate the customer who complained to management. After a long wait I was told my food was finally being prepared, but when I said I was going to ask for a refund, the cashier changed her story and told me they actually placed my order on the floor an hour ago (before I even ordered it) and it must have been stolen, so that was my problem and I wouldn't get a refund. Even if that wasn't an obvious and bold lie and my food actually was put out to early and stolen, that would still warrant a refund. Eventually I was told if I wanted a refund I could request one online. I then asked for the manager myself and she offered to refund my meal, but said she'd take care of it in the back later and I could not get an immediate receipt proving they actually provided a refund. Additionally, every time I've been to this location prior to this horrific event, the food has been inconsistent with salt and temperature levels. read more

It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review. Chipotle is one of those places that me and my family never get tired of and for us to stop going to a location requires SERIOUS issues. Well this Chipotle has serious issues and I've finally stopped coming to it. Instead I drive an extra 10 minutes to the next closest one. Here is a list of the issues I've had. #1 Door opened 10 minutes late. Sat outside freezing with 2 other customers. #2 Location has never (and I am not exaggerating) had everything needed to make a burrito. It's always something and it seems to take way to long to get it prepped. Like guacamole. Waited 20 mins for it one day. #3 Pick up orders take AT LEAST 15 minutes longer than listed. The last 3 times I was there I had to tell them to start my order because I was sitting there for so long and it was clear my food wasn't around. #4 Pick up is almost ALWAYS wrong. The last time I was there was the first time they have ever gotten everything right on the first try and that was because we stopped ordering extra items like chips and drinks that clearly confuse them. #5 Employees seem completely out of touch with basic customer service and prioritizing late orders. I sat for 30 minutes waiting for a large order when there was a very small line that turned over at least 3x while I was waiting. #6 Manager clearly has no idea how to properly stock inventory. I came in at 3 PM one day and unless you wanted a plain chicken burrito with just rice, you were going hungry. People were leaving halfway through when they realized they had nothing they wanted on the second half of the window. Not just the worst chipotle, but the worst restaurant I've ever returned to more than once. Unless this is owned by someone who is just trying to burry some cash for tax reasons, I can't believe that the same employees are there every time I come and haven't been fired. It's disturbing. Also, the same "homeless" guy is outside the door harassing you for change before and after you enter. They have a security guard there, probably to make sure people don't lose their minds from frustration and jump over the counter, but they should be focusing on getting the panhandler away from the door entry. Seriously, it takes a LOT to make me leave a review and NOT go to a Chipotle but congratulations, you've done it. read more

The worst location ever for chipotle. The employees OBVIOUSLY do not care any their job, or the quality of the food they serve. They don't pay attention to what you order, meaning they leave items out of your online order, and they don't do anything to provide a good experience. I'll drive past this franchise to try to find the next one or I'll just walk across the street to Arepazo where they're happy to greet you and provide quality food and experience. I ordered and paid online and my husband went through the drive-thru for convenience only to get home and open up 2 of the bowls which looked like someone had eaten half. I called and spoke with someone who claimed to be the "General Manager, Kia". She said that she made the order and I could bring the order back but the portion size would be the same. I said no way that's correct, and that I would bring it back. I told her I was going through the drive thru she said I would have to come inside. I questioned why because that's how he picked up. I asked for a number for her supervisor, she said I am the manager, I am the manager about 5 times. I asked if she owned the places she then said she offered me a remake but now I can't get that, and if I come to the store she will call the cops on me. This girl then hung up the phone. The service at the Chipotle on Stringtown Rd in Grove City (OH) has been terrible this year. They claimed to not get an online order, but I had the confirmation email. Staff seemed confused about what to do. Today my quesdilla is missing sour cream & the burrito is only partially wrapped. Online orders aren't ready when you come to pick them up so you have to wait. I use online ordering so I don't have to wait in line, but this location doesn't seem to understand that concept. Staff never seem to know what is going on. Poor management! Will drive past this location to go to another one from now on. read more

I told my brother in law that I was heading to this chipotle and he told me to not do it, because it's the worst chipotle to ever exist. I didn't believe him and figured I'd give it a try. I walked in the door and there were people sitting at literally every table waiting for their online orders. No one was in line, so I got in line thinking I'd be able to get my food fast. I stood there for 20 minutes, waiting for someone to even take my order. Employees would stroll out of the back, give everyone dirty looks and stroll back into the kitchen. I was starving and figured someone HAD to take my order. I guess that was too much to ask for. I stood for ANOTHER 10 min, and then finally decided to leave. It's been a few hours since I left, and I'm hoping those poor people got their online orders. Probably not.... hopefully by tonight? Fingers crossed. read more

This is the nearest Chipotle to me, which it makes it tempting to revisit, and for the past 2 years I think maybe there are only 2 or 3 times I've come in and they haven't been out of at least one and sometimes multiple ingredients. It's usually fajitas and crispy taco shells, but they're also often out of one of the salsas or lettuce as well. I've asked if they were going to have fajitas again or if there's an ongoing problem and only got told, "We're just out right now" like it was a one-time fluke occurrence. I get that with perishable items you can't just hoard a ton of them at once and maybe one day you miscalculate how much you order, but it's literally been 10 or 20 times over the past 2 years that they've been out of fajitas. More often than not I get to the front of the line and just end up not ordering anything. I always contact corporate customer service after each unsuccessful visit but nothing is ever done. read more

This Chipotle is so consistently disappointing that it compelled me to make a Yelp account. I've tried to find a way to use this location but it is beyond saving (I have went 15+ times and have finally decided I be driving 15+ more minutes out of my way to the next nearest location). In my experience, you can expect: 1) Your pickup order to run at least 15 minutes late at least 70% of the time 2) The location to be understaffed (I feel bad for the workers having the carry too much at one time) 3) Something in the order to be off (crunchy rice, cold meat/rice, dry/crusty tortilla) at least 60% of the time Of the dozen or so Chipotles I have been to throughout Ohio, this is without a doubt the worst one. I am not a picky person (places get busy and it's cool if stuff isn't perfect) but I cannot adequately convey how terrible this location is run. It needs staff. More realistic ETAs. A standard Chipotle. If you love this brand, this will adequate for your needs. Parking is somewhat difficult, as a tiny nearby parking lot is generally full and street meters are catch as catch can. Friendly and energetic staff served us. Very nice and very speedy. Noticed after I was seated that I had been billed for a more expensive entree than I had ordered. Not a huge dollar amount but annoying. Too long a line to go talk about it, so that likely took this from 3 star to 2. Side of chips, in a bag, was relatively skimpy. Not sure if I got a dud or they have cut back on quantity. Another random seeming gripe...why no ground beef? Qdoba and most other one-off Mexican restaurants offer ground beef as an option, and I am sure these guys could do it well. Maybe someday? Glad to see that for 2016 they are trying a summer loyalty program to get people through the door. That will work with my coworkers and me. Hopefully, they will keep it going after the planned two month trial period. A solid lunch choice if you like the brand and can find a place for your car. But expect a line, and check your bill. read more

I am giving 2 stars because the taste is delicious. There are too many Chipotles in our area that the taste has gone downhill for some reason and is very bland but this one does not lack in taste. What it does lack in is quantity. I read (after ordering for the second time on the app) that if you order inside the portions are much better. I ordered extra rice and you could see the bottom of the bowl. I just removed the app from my phone so I am never tempted again to order through it. read more

The line was almost to the door and tons of people were waiting for their delayed online orders. I decided to wait it out because I'm 7 months pregnant and was getting a bit hangry from not having dinner yet. However, the employees were SUPER slow and not friendly at all. Other customers were already disgruntled. I was the next person in line (finally) and the lady said they were out of brown rice so I said screw it. Ordered online and picked up with no problem. I got a bowl, I am a vegan and so is I my two year old daughter, so I ordered it with NO MEAT. I start to eat and find a piece of chicken. I call they offer a refund but the man was VERY snarky on the phone about it. Come back to finish the bowl with my daughter a little later and FIND A PIECE OF STEAK IN THE BOWL AS WELL.... I'm not sure how it would ever be difficult to not put meat in a meatless bowl but this location has succeeded. read more

This place used to be fast and efficient, but oh how the mighty have fallen. My most recent visit took 50 minutes, and the line was no shorter when I left than when I arrived. It wasn't as if the restaurant was overflowing with customers, either; the dining room was actually completely empty. But everybody there was waiting in line. Ordering online is somehow even worse; there is always a gaggle of increasingly agitated customers near the registers waiting for their orders to be finished. I've seen them making online orders where the pickup time was 30+ minutes prior to the time they were working on it. I was once a pretty regular customer here, but unless you want to spend your entire lunch hour waiting in line, skip it. Even sit-down service at FirstWatch next door will be faster. read more

If you don't know how to wrap a burrito--to the point where you have to double wrap every burrito--you shouldn't be working at chipotle. This isn't rocket science. This location is equivalent to waiting in line at Cedar Point. A Sunday night visit took about 40 minutes with about 12 people in line. A group who ordered online had to wait beyond 20 minutes because their orders weren't made yet. This location needs a serious reorganization. This is the last time I come here. The employees are too busy talking to each other to smile it acknowledge you beyond asking what you want on your food, there are dirty in used tables, the food area is a sloppy mess (see pics), the floor is ridden with trash and to top it off we weren't even thanked for our patronage. If you have plenty of time to spare to wait in line, this Chipotle is for you. There were 3 people ahead of me and I waited about 10 minutes to even say "burrito please". The staff (minus the guy on register, he was pleasant and witty) is not personable, not even a hello. I get it, but I work in food service too and can at least fake a smile on my worst day. Lastly, I don't think they quiz people on burrito wrapping because the guy who tried to wrap my burrito did it so completely wrong, that I had to ask him to get someone else to do it. That makes me feel like an asshole, but I could've just gotten a burrito bowl if I wanted to eat it with a fork. I've been here several times and there's always something. The food tastes good (my husband says stay away from the guac, though) but the poor service keeps me away unless I'm starving and have no option. read more
