I love chipotle and would eat it everyday if I could (some weeks I have). This branch is definitely hit or miss. I've ordered with my household and almost every time on a group order they get something wrong. Order large chips they send small, wrong portion sizes of meat or wrong meat, salad instead of a bowl, not double wrapping burrito when requested, wrong salsa chosen...I mean it's been one of everything many times. And the worst of all, for some reason this branch cannot for the life of them remember to give salad dressing when you order a salad! It's insane because often times that makes the salad edible. I've decided I can't rely on ordering through the website or grubhub at all, only in person. This place is not so bad being new and all... FYI to the people who are reading this, you can always ask them for a bit more of whatever you select and they will never say no. So next time you feel like the proportion is a bit small, ASK THEM for a bit more. I've never had to wait long besides the normal flow of customers, and I have seen the employees chit chat and stuff but once I get up to the glass they go wash hands and put on gloves and immediately do their job, so no complaints there. The only thing I didn't like is that this location tends to run out of certain food items (like steak) or vinegrette a bit before closing time... I mean even if it's closing time there should be a supply of vinegrette at least! And I've ordered the chips and guac once before and when I got home found out that the chips were hard and stale. They should know to check these kinda things every day!... Management at this location must not care. Ordered online at 11:20 for 11:45 pickup. When I arrived at 11:40 I can see order has not even begun to be made. Watched the whole making process and can see the prep was missing ingredients. Finally got my order around 12, 15 minutes late and even slower than if I just waited in line. I then ask for sour cream on the side because I saw they did not put it on even though it's on the order. Prep workers tells me he ran out, I asked if he can get some from other side or back. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE- VEGETARIANS BEWARE Two times in a row I received meat in my vegetarian Sofritas burrito. I threw up because I actually cant eat meat. I called and the manager was unapologetic so i issued a complaint through him. I was satisfied that they would take care of the issue but weeks later when it happened again i couldnt believe it. I called and the manager ERIC hung up on me before he would process my refund and wouldnt accept my calls when i called back. I now seem to be blocked. I am so upset ive been crying and when i told him i never could go to the location again he said " good ". Whatever you do DO NOT EAT AT THIS LOCATION ITS CAN NOT PASS A HEALTH INSPECTION UPDATE: this matter was never solved, I'm so completely at a loss for this lack of basic respect for customers. All i needed was a "sorry, give us one more chance to make this right for you". But instead the manager tells me i should just never come back and whoever i dealt with just said she'd "talk" to Eric regarding his treatment of me as well as his initial lying that they didnt even fulfill online orders until after 2 pm, when i ordered. The chipotle rep said that was not true at all, but never tried to reach a resolution. Im so so upset by this company and my family and friends have all decided that it's just not worth it to eat at Chipotle anymore; if there's a serious problem, they dont even care to try and make it better for the future. No wonder the ecoli problem was so bad for them. The "reforms" for how they maintain food health and safety havent had an effect at this location. Went here today for lunch and I have to second all of the negative reviews. While there, I saw a guy texting on his cell phone - proceed to then slap on a glove (without washing his hands) and handle the meat prep. Your cell phone is filthy - you didn't wash your hands and then put your hands all over the outside of the gloves you then touched our food with. This is just poor hygiene standards. If you're willing to have your cell phone out in the kitchen...I am not confident that you are following other necessary sanitary precautions. Plus - the corn salsa was spicy!!! I am very disappointed . I usually love coming here all employees are super nice and helpful but today the manager Bobbie/Bobby was VERY rude to me . I'm vegan so usually I get a rice and bean only dish . SHE had an attitude and was short with me . She charged me about 3 dollars more for the meal just because of a small side of mild salsa ( in one of those little plastic cups ). When I told her they usually give it for free she didn't budge and just spoke quickly and rudely . I've always been a fan of Chipotle regardless of the things I hear on the news. LOL. I'm still alive. HAH. Boyfriend and I came here for dinner here last night, we've been watching this place being built from the ground up and was so excited when we heard it was finally open. We don't have to drive to the Village one (kinda far when ya just want food nearby) and it's a great addition to Diamond Bar seeing has we don't have that many variety of options to choose from (DB not really known to have good food places). I got my usual of half and half chicken and steak salad bowl, no rice or beans, no cheese, mild salsa, corn and extra lettuce. The portions were great, my bowl was a heap of delicious goodness and the flavors were tasty. Was the meat really hot? Not really, but it didn't bother me. I don't mind eating my salads warm rather than hot so long as it tastes good (example: cold pizza is AMAZING). Boyfriend also ordered their new queso, he didn't really like it-- said it was too bland and watery, but enjoyed his steak burrito! The staff was super friendly and nice, gave a gracious amount of food that left us stuffed and satisfied. I loved my chicken/steak salad bowl. Heh. read more

I usually have good experiences with Chipotle. I was happy to try this location that is closer to me than the one in Walnut, however this location really disappointed me for the following reasons: 1. There was only one person behind the bar (as opposed to the usual two). It wasn't busy and I was waiting for my turn. 3 people were in the back, a guy was prepping meat while the other 2 were just chatting with him and doing nothing. They all saw me waiting but did not offer to assist me. 2. When the cashier handed my credit card back, I saw a bit of guacamole? mush along with stains on my card. I had to wipe off my card after, I thought it was kind of unpleasant. 3. My veggie bowl was EXTREMELY SALTY. To a point I could barley eat my bowl and had to drink lots of water to overcome the saltiness. I've always ordered the same thing at other locations and never had such a distasteful experience. In conclusion, I would still prefer the Walnut location way over this one. Please try to avoid this location at all cost (for now until they improve). Tonight I had probably the worst experience I have ever had at a Chipotle. As a former employee (not at this property), I have a basic understanding on Chipotle standards and this was disappointing to see. I came in with two other people already in line and I see one person working, no cash, grill or prep to be found and a bunch of people were talking in the back. Two more people walk in as I wait for the person who is actually working to finish the other order. One guy popped out of the back and turned to the back of the store and said, "guys there is a line". Suddenly, 4 people pop out and finally start to take my order. At this point, I am a little annoyed but am not tripping too hard over it. I get home and I am eating with my girlfriend and at one point she stops and shows me something that was in her bite that she just took. There was a sharp piece of what seemed to be metal in her burrito (see below). First, I was thankful that she didn't end up swallowing it, but this is definitely preventing me from ever going to this Chipotle in the future. Had an issue with the service. I hadn't been in a Chipotle in a long time and didn't realize some of the toppings are an extra charge. After I was given the total price, I asked why it was more expensive than I thought. The cashier said that guacamole is an extra charge but I wasn't told this when it was offered. I was offered the other toppings in the same way but of course the other toppings were not an extra charge. The cashier then offered to make my order again. During this time, I was asked what toppings I wanted to which I replied asking which ones were an extra charge. Then the cashier started making jokes that each item had a separate charge. I didn't appreciate this. The store also had a broken beverage machine when I asked for a cup of water. I was told I could purchase a bottle instead. I declined. After receiving my order, I went to get a fork. The forks were empty so I went back to the cashier to get one. She jokingly said that the fork was 25 cents. I didn't appreciate that either. I should have left after the jokes started and then continued. I was caught off guard. I don't go into fast food restaurants to be made fun of when I order food. I go to get a quick meal and I don't ever consider that the service will be an issue. It was here. I won't come back for awhile. read more

I was so excited to try this location since it was literally right around the corner of my house and I love chipotle but I can't be anymore disappointed in this location and it's staff. First of all I started by asking for a salad bowl, the girl put white rice instead. I told her that I wanted a salad bowl and she froze completely. She uttered and it's like she didn't know what a salad bowl was. I told her it has the bigger cut lettuce plus the rice and protein with the sides. What she did next was disgusting, she just grabbed the bowl with the white rice I didn't ask for and put it back in with the rest of the rice after she touched it. I tried to be patient cause maybe it was her first day and she didn't know any better but it just got worse from there. I asked her for brown rice and black beans and she just ignored what I was saying. I had to tell her more than 3 times what kind of rice I wanted and even then she wasn't getting it. Not only that but she wasn't even putting a full scoop of rice or beans or chicken. I had to tell her over and over again can you please put more. I've been to other chipotles and I know how the portions should be. Even after the 3 times I told her to add more it was still like half of the portion they normally give. I then asked the cashier if he could please fix it and add to the bowl, instead he put it on the side in little containers and tried to charge me for extra. It's pretty funny cause the guy who served the side cups told him not to charge me because he knew by just looking at the bowl that it wasn't made how I ordered. Overall really bad customer service, really small portions, and highly disappointed. I know they just opened but maybe they should take some time to train their employees better. read more

The service was slow. There's was only one person getting there order completed and one waiting in front of us and we still waiting in line for 12mins. The gentleman that created our order was very polite but he was the only one completing all the orders. The fajitas were still raw. There wasn't a seconded helper helping him. For chipotle not being slammed with customers I was surprised that the wait was so long. Although I've never had a personal bad experience with an employee, there have been a handful of times where they did not pack my bowl or burrito with a proper amount of food. There have been a couple of times where I have ordered double meat and I am practically given the same portions as a single-meat bowl. Most of these times have been with new employees, from what I could tell. I have nothing against new employees, but perhaps new training could do the trick?
