I placed an online order for a veggie burrito and a steak burrito at approximately 7:57pm and walked into the store at 8:05pm even though my pick up time was 8:15pm and my food was already ready for be to pick up. The employees at this location, at heart the ones that were working tonight, really do their job really well and deserve the utmost respect because their customer service skills are beyond exceptional. Thank you to everyone who was working on April 10th at 8pm, especially the girl who wrapped my humongous burrito. In regards to the food. All the ingredients were super fresh and the presentation of the food was far better than other locations. So I ordered a veggie burrito but requested a small alteration. I asked that they put double scoops of everything! I thought that they would only give me a full scoop and maybe half of another but they actually gave me two scoops of everything. I loved how the bowl appeared since I am a fairly skinny mofo, it was more than enough to relinquish my hunger. Now I have to confess, at first I was deeply cynical about the restaurant and its content but fortunately my wits were unlocked when I stepped inside and found the entire experience to be worthwhile. I stopped by this location today to grab some lunch with my infant. As I'm waiting in line to order, one employee is cutting up the meat on a cutting board and as she's cutting...the male employee is grabbing with his bare hands & eating the meat. (1/25/2024) I didn't even notice all Chipotle's around here in LA county don't even break 3 stars. I take my health very serious only eating very natural food everyday and Chipotle and In n Out are really the only chain restaurants I eat from because they're not perfect with their ingredients but at least it's not straight poison like other ones. I had Chipotle like 2/3 months ago and it was alright for a quick meal and today I ordered from Uber Eats a double chicken bowl and rice with cheese. This is the meal I broke my fast with and this is the only thing I ate today until getting sick as of now. So no other foods. I had to report the food to Uber Eats because half of the chicken was burnt and halfway through I noticed a stench and I had to just throw it away. Then about 2 hours later I'm getting all dizzy and feeling extremely weird and ended up having to vomit everything. I stopped ordering the steak long ago because I noticed there cuts were garbage so I resorted to chicken. Overall their food quality is just garbage, no point of wasting your money on a restaurant that can't even make chicken and rice be edible or even satisfying. But like I said it's on me a bit because to not break 3 stars is pretty disappointing and that should speak for itself. To be an establishment that promotes healthy eating to not break 3 stars something's obviously wrong. It ain't healthy if it's garbage quality. And this is a trend across all locations so corporate really doesn't care. So for anyone else please don't even get this no more don't feed the hand that deceives you. First of all, I think it's important to state that I LITERALLY created a yelp account right now to make this review because I cannot believe the service and food quality of this chipotle. If I could give zero stars I would. I came into chipotle on 8/28/17, right from the beginning you can tell the workers did not get along and there was tension. I was given attitude first by the guy who made my bowl, his name was Steven. Instead of asking what I would like he literally just stared at me. No big deal right maybe he is having a bad day, but then every other employee gave me attitude going down the line. I noticed that since my Bowl was the very last one in the stack, the rim was completely covered in what looked like dirt, so I asked for a new bowl. One of the workers asked Steven to get a new bowl he got upset and threw the bowl on the counter. Once I got to the register I asked the girl what the guys name was who was starting the bowl, another girl asked her what I said, rolled her eyes and walked away while she snatched my debit car out of my hand she gave me his name. It wasn't until I got home that I absolutely knew I had to write a review. My bowl was literally horrible. The beans were hard. The rice was hard and had a bunch of clumps. And the guacamole was dark, like almost unrecognizable as guacamole. I had to write a review. If you want to be treated like crap, and given attitude, then have your bowl that taste like prison food (whatever that taste like) Go to this chipotle. You won't be disappointed. read more

You can go full on meat tooth or you can go vegetarian - it's your choice. Assembly line style, you first pick your platform: tacos, burrito, bowl, salad. Then you add your choice of meat: shredded pork (carnitas) diced chicken, shredded beef (barbacoa), or veggies. Wait, wait, I'm missing a couple of steps dammit. between platform and meat: choose brown or white rice, and choose black or pinto beans - the pintos are not veg-friendly, btw. Then go on to the meat :) After your meat, you have a selection of salsas to choose from, mild, medium, or spicy, then you can add (or not) cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. The guac is good, but it's an extra charge. After all that, pay for your meal, take a seat, & dig in! read more

This location is surrounded by offices, schools, and hospitals, so you'll see all types of people during their lunch rush. Whenever I go to this Downey location, the line is bustling and filled with men & women in scrubs, business attire, and school kids. The line is super long and curves into the center of the restaurant, but I'd say that they move quickly, so don't be discouraged. This location definitely has the same delicious consistent "Chipotle-quality" as any other location. It's a bit of a drive from Santa Fe Springs, but it's for sure worth it! It's probably the same distance as going to the Cerritos Chipotle, but the parking lot is MUCH more spacious than the Cerritos one. I'm definitely keeping this Chipotle on my lunch rotation, especially since it's so inexpensive and delicious all at the same time! read more
