I stay in the area and chipotle is my go to sometimes but this location always has something. When I online, they always forget something. One time, I came to pick up my food, it wasn't filled up the way they usually do it. Another time, the rice was undercooked, I couldn't even eat it. I always kept going before because sometimes we have those days, but it just keeps getting worse and worse. Recently, all I got was a bowl, and the chicken and the rice was undercooked, it was the only meal I had and i couldn't eat it because the chicken was chewy and the rice kept getting harder and harder to eat. I got food poisoning after and wasn't well the rest of the day. I don't think I'll be going to this location anymore. read more

Definitely not the best Chipotle location in El Paso (workers are not always the most friendly and the ingredients aren't always the freshest) but it is definitely not the worst location that EP has. When we arrived, took a minute for anyone to come to the front but once they came, they prepared the food pretty quick. Over all, it was smooth. If I was giving an award for Best Fast Food Chain, it would be a toss-up between Chipotle and Smashburger. Mostly because both are modern and innovative and so damn good. If you've never been to a Chipotle, imagine a Taco Bell with things you actually want and that actually taste good. This Chipotle is the perfect place for you to get your first taste of what fast food done right is. And Chipotle is GMO free. I'm mixed on GMOs, all I really want is for someone to tell me when they're serving me GMOs (there's a worker at this Chipotle that has a huge love for the business that I appreciate and she told me she's allergic to GMOs which is what started her love of Chipotle...idk if I believe all that, but if it wasn't, it was a good selling point on something I'd already bought). It's always so hard to choose if I want a bowl or a burrito. Either way, if you do it right you'll be in a food coma shortly thereafter. If you do the burrito, get it double wrapped...I don't know why, but it's like they feel obliged to fill the burrito until close to bursting so this ensures the biggest possible burrito. I always go with double steak because it's made to a medium, medium-rare that makes it so juicy and flavorful. I alternate between Pinto and Black Beans because they're both good and subtle in taste. Then I top it with all the salsas, two scoops of corn salsa (corn is my favorite food in the world), cheese, sour cream, lettuce and guac. And as a delicious added bonus I always have them add cilantro. Chipotle maybe the most glorious and delicious food you ever consume from a chain! Yah, it's pricy, but it's worth it. And they also offer beer! Service is always fast and friendly and the environment stays clean. The design (like most Chipotles) is wood and metal which just gives it that extra feeling of clean I enjoy. The only thing is since this is so close to UTEP you can expect lines and primal eating hours, but again service is fast. Things you should know: cilantro, double wrapped, Burittodilla, Quesorita, nachos...the secret menu exists. read more

I would leave 0 stars if I could. The store closes at 10:00 PM and we showed up with a large group at 9:15 PM. The chairs inside the restaurant were already put away on top of the tables and they refused to make any more food. The manager did absolutely NOTHING that resembled any leadership skills. So, instead of making over $500 dollars within 15-20 minutes, half of a college basketball team left, still hungry after traveling most of the day. We use Chipotle locations everywhere we travel and this was by far the WORST experience we've had. It's also impossible to call and get through to an actual store due to the automated answering service. I tried to call the restaurant about an hour and a half before we arrived and couldn't get through. Again, the employees and manager showed the worst display of customer service I've seen. They should honestly be ashamed of themselves and I hope that someone would never treat them or their family the way we were, resulting in college kids leaving hungry at 9:30 PM.. when they close at 10:00 PM. read more

This place is hit or miss. It makes me really sad to say that because I love Chipotle since I was a kid and it was always one of my go to places to eat, but their food at this specific Chipotle is sometimes really good but it is always sometimes really bad. I've given this Chipotle a few chances because I live in the area, but I don't know. They disappoint me half the time. Specifically, I think someone needs to re-train them on how to make rice. Sometimes it is too hard, sometimes it is too soft. It ruins the entire meal when the base is not good. read more

Just got back from the Grand Opening of El Paso's first Chipotle! A longtime favorite of mine, I love their burritos, and I'm psyched to finally have one in town. Expect a long, but fast moving line. Their burritos, if you haven't had the pleasure, are great. They are made with big tortillas, rice, beans, and a choice of meat. El Paso is practically know for having the best Mexican Food; rightfully so, which makes me wonder why anyone native would like this place. Chipotle is N to the O to the No No No. I hated the burrito I had from here. It was the most inauthentic food I've had, a horrible American excuse for a burrito. I don't understand why anyone would put brown rice or even white rice in to a burrito. The tomato & lettuce typically served on the side was stuffed in, along with cold wet salsa, SWEET CORN, runny Sour cream & cold, tasteless guacamole, all rubbed together & folded to a thick looking pocket. Dreadful mess. I bit in to it and the burrito fell apart & looked terribly unappetizing. The blend of warm meat & rice with cold salad, and wet toppings was disgusting. I don't get it. A friend of mine, that is first generation U.S. citizen, with parents from mexico swears by this place, and although I think it is alright, it's nothing special to me. People like to talk about the freshness and taste, but compared to most other mexican places it seems pretty bland, and freshness doesn't mean healthy. The average burrito runs near 1000 calories. I guess it's still better then a big mac. The line here runs on the slow side compared to other locations, and at least twice during the wait in line you have to wait for one of the workers to re-wrap a burrito because they didn't do it right the first time. I don't mind eating here, but I don't really get the religious following this place seems to have nationwide. read more

I am usually quite skeptical of chain restaurants opening somewhere they have not been before. The taste, service and set up have a potential to be off, but not this Chipotle! It tastes exactly how you should expect: delicious! My only tip is, if you're going to dine in, be prepared to wait at least an hour or so, depending on when you go. El Paso folk have been waiting for it to open for so long that every time I drive by or go there, the line is out the door! Which is totally forgivable and understandable. If you're planning on take out, get the app, or order it online about 2 hours prior and on the special instructions say when you are planning on stopping by, but give them at least an hour to an hour and a half. They have been backed up not just with the people that dine in, but with call in orders. The workers are super sweet, even though the volume they deal with is astronomical, great staff! read more

We have always been a Chipotle fan. However, we came across undercooked rice many many times in this location. Rice was undercooked since more than a year ago. We found the same issue last month. We contacted their HQ, went back and found no improvement at all. Does not seems anyone cares about their quality. Suggest stay away from both brown or white rice as you will never know. read more

This location is quite awful. I frequent Chipotle around the country and never have a problem. Cold meat, skimpy portions on the meat, out of fajita veggies and was told I have to wait 5 or 6 minutes if I wanted more. Was asked, "Is that okay?" No.. Chipotle is a standardized chain. Shouldn't be that difficult to order a decent lunch. Also, they should consider adding a purse hook in the women's restroom. read more

Went into chipotle and was completely ignored. Food looked old and greasy while wait staff refused to serve me because I am white. Nasty place. Will not be back.
