I went to grab my food and they forgot my chips, they said I didn't order...it said I did on my receipt. On top of that I wasn't even greeted when I walked it. I'm sitting in my car after waiting one hour, yes you read that right one hour inside of the store for my three tacos pick up order. I ordered it at 5 o'clock and it was supposed to be done at 5:15 it is now 630. Insane. As Someone that has worked in the food industry in the past I am usually very gracious when it comes to this kind of stuff because there's so many factors and sometimes restaurants can be understaffed, but they were not even hustling at all there was about 20 other people waiting for their online orders, and that's along with the actual line. I finally got the bag at 6:15 opened and it looked like absolute slop it didn't even look like tacos, they were not individually wrapped but smashed together. I very nicely showed the girl and she's like nope that's tacos, luckily the guy in line next to me let out a big laugh! And was like "that looks terrible!!! Terrible service and quality. I ordered delivery last night off of door dash. My driver texted me numerous times apologizing for the wait -- stating that at least 4 employees were just messing around in the back, not making any orders. My driver sat in the building for 20 minutes waiting for my meal and by the time I called, my food was FINALLY just being made. Always clean, and service is quick just like all other Chipotle's. The food is excellent, I prefer their tacos because the burritos are just too much (but good). The menu is small which makes ordering simple. Everything is always really fresh and their guac is some of the best. We love coming here, just wish they had more seating, often times it's packed and pretty cramped. If summer would ever decide to arrive, there's a little patio area outside to eat at also. read more

I love chipotle and before good ole corona hit this elk river place was the best one always on time and had a ton of workers but I ate there almost every day after work and I believe a lot of their workers all quit at once and they have been down hill ever since being regularly backed up Rogers is better for being fast but as for the food it's self I can say it's better than Rogers because every time I eat the chicken from Rogers (10 times+-) it has a burnt flavor to it but also what I have found and hate about all chipotles is they sometimes put way way too much lime in the rice and it is literally un eatable and I have wasted money on trash rice before. They definitely need a more consistent way of putting in the line. read more

Chipotle is by far my favorite place to eat. All of them have amazing, fresh, and organic food that will make your mouth water just thinking about it. This place is no exception to that. The food is great. Delicious freshly cooked meat, well-seasoned rice, fresh beans, and more. If you haven't tried Chipotle before, then I recommend you to do so. The service here is good too, or so I've experienced. They can make your food pretty fast without a hassle and they make sure that you're getting what you want. My only complaint here is that cleanliness isn't exactly their strongsuit. Every time I go here there's at least a few dirty tables, and the floor is also kinda dirty. It isn't that bad by any means because the food makes up for it. I just wish they would clean the place at least once every couple of hours. With how popular and busy this location is you'd think they would figure out a way to fix this ongoing problem of the line extending out the door. Surrender all hope of eating soon. I waited I. I frequent this Chipotle, and unfortunately, each visit is a disappointment. The customer service is unpredictable and cleanliness is not a priority. The tables are usually dirty, the garbages are overflowing, and the soda counter is covered in spilled soda, ice cubes, wrappers and napkins. If you love the food, I would recommend driving an extra ten minutes to the Rogers, MN location instead. read more

We are so disappointed by this Chipolte location. Four times within the last year our order has been more than an hour late. It has been chaos inside with tons of people waiting. This weekend we canceled our order after an hour and were told we would get a full refund. Now we're getting the run around and they tell us we need to go through corporate. I would like to leave a really bad review for your Elk River, MN location. I placed my order on your app and when you got here my food wasn't ready, that's not the bad part. I had to prove I purchased from this location, because they couldn't find my order in the system. Came back with m phone, to show my receipt and they still couldn't find my order. I'm know waiting for my order, that was suppose to be ready for pick up 15 minutes ago. I've given them another chance, after the last stop here, that had me waiting more than an hour past the time I scheduled for pick up. No matter what chipotle I go to, I love the food here, reguardless of how many calories are in one monster huge burrito (I mean the thing is big enough for 2 meals anyways). the guac is bomb and if you order it as a side instead of on your burrito or in your burrito bow, whatever your craving may be, you get more than if they were to just top your food. I love the steak or chicken fajita burrito, never really tried anything with pork, but I'd imagine its just as good. Really disappointed though that alot of locations dont carry the orange mango nantucket nectars anymore. They were a delicious add on to an amazing meal. Oh well though. read more

FIRST OFF- I have been in food service since 1986. I am a former ServeSave trainer, my credentials begin at kitchen staff/delivery driver. Then shift-manager, assistant manager and my first General Manager position was in 1991. By 1996 I was a regional manager. I moved on to helping people become more profitable and expand their restaurant business, that started in 2002. By 2004, I moved on to owning my own restaurants. By 2013, I owned 4 restaurants and moved to the next chapter in my life. NOW ON TO THIS CORPORATE LOCATION! My family (5 people) order out 2 times a year. In 2016, I was first exposed to Chipotle by my eldest daughter. I had MAJOR ISSUES THEN. They were competently handled by the district manager in this area. 3 years later, and 3 take out orders later...on August 12th, 2019 was the last order I placed. The quality was below average, at best. By that I mean, I understand that on a Monday you have the B squad or JV team in charge and the General Manager will not be there after 3 p.m. OR it's not a peak business time. Order was for 5:20 p.m. We were in the lobby at 5:15 p.m. Problem 1- Food was cold, we had to reheat it after a 5 min. car ride home Problem 2- Ordered guacamole---received quartered avocados in a to-go ramikan Problem 3- Portion sizes---I never questioned these in our previous 3 orders. This last order, 2 bowls were half full. Taco John's would of been a better bargain! Problem 4- Human Hair in the food. I'm bald. My son has 1" long hair. My daughters have 12" red and 10" blue hair and my wife has 6" strawberry brunette hair. Why do I know this? 99% of our meals are homemade. THIS FOOD had 6" brunette hair in it. This leads me to believe that BASIC FOOD SAFETY IS NOT BE FOLLOWED!! Is there value? Sure, if you believe that picking up a dead deer on the side of the road is value! Is there quality? NO! Unless you think ketchup is spicy and White Castle is 5 star dining. Maybe at other locations, BUT I haven't seen it. Employees? My 6 minute conversation with the GM was good. He's VERY overwhelmed for a Monday afternoon. But was helpful. I'd order again from a restaurant he ran. CHIPOTLE CORPORATE can suck it!! No way to talk to a human. When we walked in, both my husband and I noticed how absolutely filthy the doors and windows were! It did not get any better once inside! We were there at 11:45am, so well before a lunch rush. Every table inside was dirty and the tables on the patio were worse than dirty!! The area where the pop machine is was disgusting!! There were only two people on the food line and one of them was switching to the cash register all the time. The young man that dished up the meat for our burrito/tacos used his hand to grab meat for our orders!! Yes, it was gloved but that is still gross considering he just wiped his hand on his pants! I know restaurants are having a difficult time getting help nowadays, so maybe just closing the dining room and having take out for now would help so that customers don't get grossed out so bad? Went to the Elk River Chipotle Friday November 13th, my wife placed an online order at 645pm. Chipotle's website said our order would be ready at 715pm. We arrived at the store at precisely 715 to be greeted by a line out the door. We waited in the store 50 (that's five zero) minutes, about halfway through an employee LOCKED THE DOOR so that no more customers could come in. After 50 minutes we got our food and went home. We get home and find that one of our 6 meals was missing... and guess who's meal that was, it was my wife's. I highly recommend avoiding the Elk River Chipotle at all costs. My recommendation to Chipotle is to fire every single person that works at this location, you need to clean house and start over. read more

i'm not gonna lie, i was gonna come on here to b**** about how they messed up my order last night, but after rethinking it, i decided not to. sure they don't always have your order 100% correct, you can tell they try. while i was waiting for my order to be made i saw his one kid rushing around the counter trying to clean it up because it was pretty messy. i talked to the manager and he had comped my order which was really nice. the drink station was a mess and so were the tables but what do you expect, a bunch of teenagers work there. you can tell they try, and quite honestly i don't blame them because the place is managed poorly. i would even give them a tip if i had cash on me, they deserve a lot better. so just be patient with the kids and don't treat them poorly. do take caution when you order from there tho read more
