So I came here because of the buy one get one free for teachers. The line didn't bother me the wait didn't bother me the workers didn't even bother me. What piss me off was that my chicken was literally RAW. I have never been to this location before but never has my chicken been so raw that it looks like it just came out of the package. It's not that every piece was like that but a good amount of them. if it wasn't RAW they were still extremely pink inside and undercooked. Kudos for my husband catching it before I began eating it we had to put it in the oven for another half an hour just to make sure it was fine. That's not so cool when you have guacamole on top. What also annoyed me was that I asked for two rice Bowls one steak one chicken one with brown rice one with white rice. Tell me why they both for white rice and they were both undercooked chicken. If you are really busy which they were because of the promo just tell people they have to wait on the chicken and take the order of the people who are not getting the chicken. And move on. Why the hell would you serve uncooked food? Damn I feel like I'm ranting but seriously? So why even give it two Stars you ask? Because my husband was smart enough to put the food in the oven and it really wasn't bad. but imagine if we actually sat there and didn't have our own oven to cook things thoroughly considering they're stove doesn't work thoroughly. read more

Ah, Chipotle. My beloved burrito bowl of yumminess. I need my Chipotle fix once a week. But that's it - just once. More than that, and it would be too much. My guy and I are always at this location. We eat so much Chipotle that on our recent trip to Portland, Or. I said we would NOT be eating there during our vacation, and he agreed. But of course, after a 6+ mile hike, we exchanged glances and knew we needed our fix. There's no escaping the beckoning call of the burrito. The staff here is all super-friendly and although the line may be winding sometimes out the door, it usually moves pretty swiftly and there's always a seat you can grab. I pretty much stick to my combo of half brown, half white rice, black beans, two doses of the hot sauce (best hot sauce ever, I love it) a light sprinkle of cheese and a lot of lettuce. The only thing I change up is the meat. I used to be strictly chicken, but tried the steak once and got hooked on that too. So much for going back to being a vegetarian. The medley of flavors is just so perfect, and so satisfying, and no more worries about the rumbling tummy. You will, however, get the "food baby" effect each and every time - and there's no escaping that, either. For those who are not familiar with the "food baby", well, basically you eat so much that you feel like you gained about 6-8lbs, roughly the size of a newborn. But that's okay - you can go running the next day, or come here after a hardcore workout to counter a lot of the work you just did. In reality though, you can make Chipotle a healthy option. Avoid the fattening items like the sour cream, the actual burrito adds more calories than you think, pick brown over white, go easy on the cheese or none at all. Basic, simple stuff. Good food, free range stuff, less animal cruelty, and relatively healthy ingredients. Typing about it is actually making me crave it, but I just had it Sunday so I have to wait another five days. I think I need to go Yelp about something a little less appetizing now. As a side note, thumbs up for the open-kitchen style dining. It's nice to be able to watch the food prep and allows you to see the cleanliness of the staff/food/kitchen. read more

So I'm a major fan of Chipotle, it's certainly not the cheapest lunch but if you want a consistent and fresh meal then it is hard to beat. This place has the same menu and experience as all the others, and despite being the largest Chipotle I've seen, they CAN NOT manage their line when it's lunch time. The line literally wrapped around the entire building and out the door and it can take 30 minutes of line waiting to get your fast casual meal. I love Chipotle. You see, Taco Bell lost my business years ago when the staff became less-friendly and the establishments became more dirty. That being said, my friends and I started to head to Chipotle for our faux Mexican needs. The food is good. The staff is quick, but nice. Everything is fresh, which is always appreciated. My best friend and I have Chipotle nights which happen once or twice a month. We roll out of work, exhausted, still in work clothes (her: scrubs. me: business casual), and we get chicken burrito bols. Hits the spot. Only thing I dislike? The price. We've been to this chipotle for years now and I have never had such a disgusting experience. My friend had a bowl and when she got to the bottom of it, there was a HUGE STINKBUG. She ended up getting rid of her food and throwing up. Do these employees clean? Or check for possible bugs in the food they are serving their customers? I ordered a chicken burrito bowl with white rice, pinto beans, fajitas, corn, green and red salsa, sour cream, cheese and lettuce for pick up. Have done this so many times at other locations and the order always came out satisfactory, if not above. This "bowl" was half assed in quality and quantity. I received a few slices of red onions in lieu of fajitas, clump up rice, a few shreds of limp lettuce, barely present beans, and (I counted) 5 small dry pieces of chicken. I mean it's chipotle, what's the really to say? I went on a Tuesday calling because it was two for one for teacher appreciation day and as a teacher I'm broke and like cheap things. The line moved pretty quickly so I can't complain about that. But when we got up to order the story changed a bit. The staff was definitely overwhelmed. They ran out of chicken. But said they were cooking as we speak. So we waited, then I got my order, and paid. However when I got home and opened up my order I was pleasantly surprised to see my pink raw chicken that was an inedible, also my brown rice had magically turned white. So rather than eating right away, I turn the oven on and waited I poured myself a large glass of Tito's vodka, which is the tits by the way and some ginger ale And waited about a half hour until I was able to actually eat my burrito bowl that I got for half off. Something about 350° guacamole and tomatoes that doesn't sit too well with the old intestines. But who am I to argue I ate it regardless. Long story short I would probably opt for a different chipotle for my yearly Mecca to chipotle for 2-for-1 burritos. Definitely check your food and make sure it's correct before you leave this place. Oh my goodness I have never in my life had someone so rude...especially at a fast food joint! This Latina girl had some sort of giant chip on her shoulder, she had the attitude of a snotty spoiled rich girl working at a Hermes Store...yet that couldn't be further from reality. She rolled her eyes after each of the 3 items I ordered...and I think a small child started crying from the head back/eye roll/snarl combo after I asked for a quesadilla....it was downright nasty! Then the customers behind me had ordered online and the staff (it looked like) were enjoying every moment when they explained they ran out of chicken and steak. Finally- I arrived a half hour before closing and already the seats were on top of tables and the staff were pretty much forcing everyone out and god forbid if you wanted a chair. My favorite drink is their fresh iced tea- but of course they were dumping that at 9:35pm. I've been to probably 30 or so chiptole's around the country and my god I have never had such a horrible experience. One girl at the register was friendly but beyond that- to whomever owns this franchise location....save your business and start fresh with an entirely new staff as these were tainted, rude and downright nasty. read more

I mean it was wrapped around the store today. 1:45 on a Monday. Last time I was here, wrapped around the store again, 7pm on a Sunday. So apparently there's this whole subculture of Chipotle-obsessed people living on LI. I mean yeah, who doesn't love a burrito every now and then? I certainly do. However, the obsession has traveled to Hicksville since this is one of the few locations in the area. And let me tell ya, this line is LONGGGG. I give a lot of credit to those workers. These young kids are busting their behinds to keep the customers happy and the line at a steady pace. It ain't easy! But besides the ridiculous crowds, this place is solid. It's always crowded because of its proximity to the mall. I usually fax my order and pick it up at the counter on time and with a smile. This chain would easily get the five stars except that today one employee kept yelling at me to go to the now-in-use faxed orders counter. I told her that I can understand what she's saying when she was done. At the pickup counter the cashier there walked away from the register before I checked if I had everything in my order. That's not bad customer service; that's just rude. The thing they have to realize is that it only takes one bad experience for a bad review. The 1 star is not a reflection of the entire chain or even this specific location. It's for today's visit. First time ever at this location. We came for lunch and this was the emptiest I've ever seen a chipotle. We literally didn't have to wait on line, so we got our food immediately. All the girls who helped us were super sweet! They gave us nice hearty servings of guacamole, which I totally appreciate. I hate waiting in line so I order my burrito bowl online & this location prepares the order accurately every time & the food is fresh & delicious. I also have to comment on the portion size because a few other locations skimp on their to go portions & it's incredibly disappointing to say the least. I always order the burrito bowl with the barbacoa & it's always tender & flavorful. I love their guacamole, although the chips are too salty for my liking so I stay away from them. An okay Chipotle. Compared to others they don't load on the food as much, but the quality of food is the same. The good thing about this location is that however long the line is, it moves very fast. Their turn around is pretty impressive, until you get someone who orders a quesadilla and holds up the line. I go for a burrito over a bowl and sometimes ask for half steak half barbacoa to change it up a bit. The barbacoa is shredded spicy beef and the steak is cubed and not as spicy. Add the pepper and onions mix to give it a fajita/philly cheesesteak taste. Yes, I know guac is extra, but it's worth it. Note: if you get a burrito bowl you can ask for a tortilla on the side and build your own. Quite possibly the worst Chipotle I've been to. First off, the tap water at this store is toxic and tastes poisonous. Secondly, the portions are minuscule and cheap. You have to order extra chicken to bring yourself up to the normal portion. Lastly, their goal is serve approximately 180 customers per hour; however, part of this objective includes ushering customers out if they've "overstayed" their visit. It's not your amazing San Diego Mexican food, but it's way more acceptable than what is normally considered "good Mexican food" (On the Border, Taco Bell) for this area. I do like their carnitas tacos, and their pico de gallo is good as well. I have ordered their burritos before and have been way too stuffed and felt almost sick. If you've got a big appetite go ahead and order the burritos, but otherwise, stick with the tacos and you won't feel overly full. read more

No need for me to review this place, I am sure you have been there. What I want to say is anybody that thinks this place sucks, give it one more try and listen to my advice. I grew up on the Mexican border and I know Mexican food. This, obviously, is just a burrito place, but they do 3 things very very very well so get a taco with only these three things, or a burrito and make sure all three of these things are in there. 1) Carintas: Among the best I have ever had and they are not fried (like they should be, but that is ok) which makes them that much more stunning since they are healthier than you would expect. 2) Sour Cream: I think it is made fresh because it tastes that way. It is light and delicious, the best I have ever had outside of Mexico (yes you read that right) 3) Hot sauce: This is genuinely on the medium to hot side (which is saying a lot coming from me), and the flavor is so so good. Not the best I have had, or close to it,, but the best I have had at any sort of chain place. The Medium is fabulous as well, it is pretty mild in hottness so I dont get it, but it is tasty. In the end, getting food like this on Long Island is hard, and Chipotle does a good job. read more

Chipotle seasons there proteins perfectly not to much seasoning not to little, but always amazing flavor.
