I usually love chipotle and eat there at least once or twice a week for awhile. that said the one in Hyannis is TERRIBLE. they don't season the rice and the last three times I've been in, they don't have half of the sides. if you're lucky you might get the meat you came in looking for, but heads up, there's usually at least one or two meats unavailable. Maybe this is a one time thing, but I was here today and the service was horrible. The people directly behind the bar hurried through our orders. The entire place was a mess, there was food all over the counter and the grill looked like something black and slimey died on it. The guy behind the register practically threw our food onto a tray and the guacamole fell off onto the counter to our utter horror. At first, the idea of eating from a chain restaurant at the Cape Cod Mall sounded, well - less than ideal. But how wrong was I! Admittedly, I've never gone in and stood in line while I waited for someone to prepare my food. I downloaded their app off the App Store and use it religiously. My order is always made right and it's always ready when I walk in the front door. I even have my payment option saved in the app, so I just walk in, say 'hi', grab my food and head on out the door. No muss. No fuss. The food? Out-f***ing-standing. Granted, their menu choices aren't as varied as a place like Sam Diego's, but what they may lack in options, they more than make up for in taste, flavor and freshness. And the price simply cannot be beat. I really hope that this is a place that continues doing EXACTLY what they're doing in EXACTLY the way they're doing it. To change anything would be a big mistake. In Hyannis, Sam Diego's USED to be my go to place, but their cafeteria fare at five star prices left me looking for something better. And I found it at Chipotle's. read more

Ummmm ok. So I used to come here all the time until covid. Now I don't leave my house so last night my bf and I ordered chipotle to be doordashed. My bowl was halfway full and all mixed together not in layers like usual. I feel like I got someone's leftovers. I ordered a rice bowl but I got a lettuce bowl with little to no rice. His burrito was half the size it usually is as well and neither of our meals had any flavor. They forgot my sour cream and there was hardly any chicken......I'm disappointed because the total cost for everything we got was $30 and I feel as though we got jipped. read more

I ordered online for pickup. The pick up process was actually very well set up. You walk in and they have tables set up. Order pick up goes by your last name. Very simple and organized. Our burritos were a complete disappointment. You would think that ordering online would be easier to get orders accurate. No, one chicken bowl, forgot the chicken. Other chicken bowl had no salsa. This chain location needs some help. We walked in today with one ustomer eating inside. There were four employees and the kid at the counter making the food barely made eye contact or said hello. The cashier never asked us if we wanted something to drink or chips. Missed opportunity to up sell the customer. The place was empty inside and on the patio. If I could give this place a 0 star I would. Went there saw my meat was raw nicely asked for it well done. After telling me that it was normal, they agreed. I asked them for extra steak well done also and they said ok. But when they brought me my food there was almost no steak in the bowl and the cup of meat on the side was raw again. How they can say that it is normal that way, i don't know because it was clearly undercooked. From the counter I could see that the meat they were cutting was very red (not pink) in the center. Chipotle Mexican Grill - Mexican Near Me - Hyannis, Massachusetts

After hearing great things about Chipotle Mexican Grille, I was anxious to give this hot spot a try. I was a little apprehensive at first walking in however saw that barbacoa was one of the meats offered as part of you selected burrito, taco or bowl, I was immediately impressed with this authentic mexican cut of meat. What I wasn't impressed with was the tablespoon of meat put into my burrito along with 3 strips of lettuce. When I compared my burrito to my wife's and brought it up to the attention of NICHOLAS (shift manager or host) he began to justify that 4 oz of meat are placed in the burritos, no more, no less (still wondering how they measure that accurate amount using a spoon). After trying to convince me that my wife ordered more ingredients in hers,I stated we had ordered the same ingredients inside our burritos. After what seemed like a couple of minutes of going back and forth, he finally gave in with a "What do you want? Do you want another burrito?" If it took this much effort on his behalf to stand his ground and tell me that he was correct, I didn't want to continue eating at this place. Upon leaving, I did open my burrito and showed him the amount of meat. Still mad, he continued arguing with me in which I replied,"and this is why I wont return to this place because a manager should be arguing in public with their customers". Catching himself, he then stated, "Have a nice day." I honestly believe Chipotle Mexican Grill is a good restaurant but I am sure Steve Ells is unaware that unprofessional managers are running this franchise restaurant in this manner. Although this particular Chipotle Mexican Grill has potential of being a good fast food Mexican restaurant, it wont be one as long this manager is at the helm. read more

I would have to say if I could only pick one meal to eat for the rest of my life, it would be this burrito bowl from chipotle. A good balance of spicy and delicious, if you want a little extra of anything just ask. The staff makes me feel welcomed like a regular (which I am) and doesn't mind making adjustments to orders on the fly. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a more healthy, tasty alternative to fast food. read more

I normally love chipotle and when this place opened it was doing great. Over the last year so there's been a steady decline in both quality and staff. My final straw was when I went in there Wednesday at 5:20 PM. That's the early side of dinner, things are only going to get busier. When I went to order I had to wait 2 to 3 minutes to put my order in, even though I was the only one in line, while the workers to finish they are very loud argument. I ordered my burrito, and I noticed there was no more vegetables in the bin. I asked if there was more, The guy taking my order turned around and shouted "do we have anymore fajitas working?" No one answered him and he didn't answer me either... I waited again for an answer but didn't get it so I decided to forget about the vegetables and move on. I had to explain my order three times...(spoiler alert..the menu is not that complicated!) only to get to the end the line and be told they have no guacamole and it will be a 10 minute wait. I've already been in there for 10 minutes... And there are out of two things at 5:20 in the afternoon. Every time I go in there there's something wrong, and their service is slower than any other chipotle I've been to. Sometimes I'm overcharged, sometimes items don't make it into my bag, sometimes there's no napkins, often times are out of something...I wish the original crew was still there...from now on I'm getting my burritos from burrito bistro across the street. This is the worst Chipotle I've ever been to. The service runs at a snails pace. They always seem to be understaffed. There is no consistency with food portions... When they have food. Tonight: no steak, guacamole or fajitas. Last week, no guacamole or lettuce. I don't know what the deal is with this particular store but they need help. People walking out of the line after waiting 20 minutes or waiting and finding out as it is your turn to order that they have none of the items to make your perfect bowl. I'm done. It was a wonderful surprise to come upon this Mexican restaurant at the mall. Too bad it's not up on Rte. 28 where it could have more exposure. It was excellent!!! My husband and I were a little apprehensive about eating at a mall fast food although we do like Mexican food. The manager sensed our apprehension and invited us to a table and explained the menu. It must be noted that everything is made fresh daily and the meats are free range. The manager couldn't have been more gracious!! It surprised me when reading another review that we were talking about the same manager.I had a salad with grilled chicken, black beans, fresh salsa and fajita vegetables. It was served with a chipotle vinegarette dressing.....fabulous! My husband had a burrito which was packed with flavorful meat and veggies. Poorly managed and somewhat dirty. Went at 6:30 last night for a quick bite. They were out of black beans and the medium spicy salsa. The counter help was too lazy to get another pot of brown rice so he even gave me the dried out pieces at the edges. Portion he gave me was tiny. My plate was about half full. Very disappointed. I was in tonight, and it was very busy. When I was waited on they were out of brown rice. I had to wait just a couple minutes. The staff was incredibly apologetic. I told them not to worry about it, but they insisted on comping my meal. They were so nice and friendly. I stopped eating here about a year ago bc I wasn't happy with the service. For a Mall based fast food Mexican restaurant, this place rocks! Definitely a step above the other fast food Mexican chain, I love the variety of healthy and unhealthy choices available. I could have chosen beef, chicken, shredded pork or vegetarian but I opted for a barbacoa burrito with brown rice, black beans, lettuce, salsa and cheese. This thing was as big as my forearm! A full sized tortilla filled to bursting capacity-so much so I told my server that it was like watching an artist at work. There's a variety of taco choices and even a kids menu with grilled cheese and quesadillas. there's cold beers and fountain drinks and a variety of hot sauces to accompany your meal. Casual atmosphere and super clean. I would highly recommend this, especially if you can't find an "authentic" Mexican restaurant in your area. read more
