This was the first time I went to chipotle. I ordered the chicken burrito with a margarita. Margarita was the best thing they had. They do not give enough meat in their burritos. One thing though is that the veggies were fresh and crisp and I loved that!! Other than that the food is bland. The food here is always spot on. Some other locations always have burnt chicken or guac that tastes a little too ripe, but here, everything is perfect! Food wise, that is. I've noticed that the employees are really snarky and have quite a bit of attitude. I thought maybe it was just due to busy nights, but I went tonight (and it was surprisingly dead) and a few of the employees were still just stuck-up. After looking at other reviews of Chipotle in the Seattle area, I was scared of trying Chipotle. Mind you, I'm actually a fan of Chipotle in southern California because of their consistency and big portions. I went to the Chipotle in Kent at the new Kent common. This area is booming with new restaurants and shops (at least they look very new). It was about 12:30pm. There were probably about 12-15 other patrons already seated and eating. There was virtually no line as I was the first one to order (2 other guys came in before me but I think they had faxed in their ordre). The joint looks exactly like any other Chipotle I've ever been to (4-5 so far). The burrito was exactly the same. I order my favorite which is the Fajita Burrito with Barbacoa (spicy beef), mild with cheese no sour cream. I love fajita burritos as I'm not too much of a fan of beans. Meat tasted the same as other Chipotle which is above average to most mexican place. Barbacoa is actually yummy and I typically choose that or their Carnitas. It is my preference that their Steak is not all that. Try the other 3 and you'll be happy. Overall, I'd say Chipotle gets the formula right. You are never surprised with them. It's consistent everywhere. The meat is nicely seasoned, the food is above average, the prices are a little higher than your mom and pop mexican fast food joint but the sizes make up for it. I think the ingredients are quality and have never been disappointed in them. Chipotle doesn't offer the value of certain other places, but with consistency and quality ingredient, I could say I recommend them. So far, it's the only decent Mexican joint I have found so far in my trek in the pacific northwest region. read more

Honestly I've been to a few Chipotles and this one was by far the worst in terms of food quality. My wife and I got identical chicken burritos and my wife kept complaining that the chicken was very chewy. Half way through my burrito I started to experience the same chewy meat. The service was ok, they made the burritos without a hitch (save for the above meat issue) and the restaurant itself was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Overall a slightly bellow average Chiptole's experience, it's sad that the food quality was suffering at this location. read more

So I travel for work and I love getting chipotle because it reminds me of home. I got there about half an hour before closing and was asked what kind of meat I wanted four times. I asked for a little rice and they gave me a lot and when I said it was good they kept added. When it went to my toppings I got a little lettuce and corn salsa like I asked but then when I asked for a lot of cheese she gave me a small pitch, I kept asking for more and each time it was a smaller pinch. Then when I asked for a lot of sour cream she did the same thing. Then when I went to checkout the lady behind the counter was trying to move two bags of chips so she can take them home latter, then she got to me. Over all it was the worse experience I've had at a chipotle and that's sad. On the plus side when I asked for double meat they told me that there would be an extra charge. read more

I've been to maybe 3-4 different locations and the service is always friendly, the food tasty, and the price reasonable. One burrito is enough for me and my wife to get plenty full off. I Focking love Chipotle.. This location is awesome, located right in Kent Station next to Dukes and the Ram. This is a favorite lunch spot for me and my employees since we work just down the road on east Valley. This store is really high volume so the food is always coming off the stove and being replaced on the line. Every time I head through the line the steak, or chicken or whatever I am going to put in my burrito bowl just got replaced with a whole other fresh batch. I order a burrito bowl every time because I don't want the useless calories in the tortilla. A Bowl with White Rice Black Beans, Peppers and Onions, Extra Steak, Fresh Tomatoes, Corn Salsa, Red Hot Salsa, Cheese, and Sour Cream. Yum! In an out in 15 minutes with a bag of chips to go. They make their own chips that are sprinkled with Sea Salt and Lime. Awesome... In terms of fast food there is really no place that I would rather eat then Chipotle. I am here 2-3 times a week, and more locations are popping up every day. The moment they allow these places to be franchised I am going to own one, but I doubt they ever will, they are making too much money as a fully owned Corp to let anyone else in. Chipotle tastes different every time you go there, even if you are in the habit of generally getting the same thing. The ingredients are of pretty good quality, but sometimes it just feels like there's something missing. Meh, who knows. Overall it's a safe choice for lunch or dinner if you're hanging out. I've been going to Chipotle for years and I could eat it every day! It's so cheap and so good. It's great for vegans like myself as well. TIPS: Here's what I order and what I pay for two people. You can modify to your liking: Vegi bowl with black beans, rice, and the pepper and onion mix. Two tortillas on the side Extra corn relish and pico de gallo guacamole (no charge with vegi bowl) medium salsa lettuce ask for an extra bowl. That and a small drink will come to $7.87. Take your sweet heart, put on the fixins (I'm from Texas so I can say that) and put it in the tortillas, and enjoy. Now that's a cheap date. This is my second time eating at a Chipotle restaurant. I don't think I got a complicated order and I'm not stupid, but somehow after my experience at this location that's how the staff made me feel. All I wanted was a cheese quesadilla add chicken and peppers. Apparently either I wasn't clear or they weren't. I was overcharged (for something called a quesorito?), given funny looks, and then when I came back asking if they could cut my quesadilla for me I was told, "We aren't doing that anymore. There are knives for you to do that." Sorry if I'm not a regular and am annoying you, but you shouldn't treat customers like that. read more

Its a lot like Taco Del Mar, but not as much fun. Located in the middle of the Kent Commons this place sells burritos. That's it... You can get some chips or other sides, but your main option is really limited to a big burrito in a foil wrap. You can get it with varying types of meat and other things but that's all your getting. A burrito. For Kent its OK. There isn't a Taco Del Mar close by anymore so when I need a foil wrapped burrito this is the pace to come. They do serve alcohol so that is one thing that is different then Del Mar, but other then that I'd chose TDM any day of the week. read more

We stopped in here before going to Disney On Ice at the ShoWare Center. I ordered the sofritas soft tacos with tomatillo red chili salsa, roasted chili corn salsa, fresh tomato salsa, cheese, romaine, and a side of guacamole. I would say it was just okay. The service isn't great. The women working there aren't particularly friendly or helpful. I love the idea of having a vegetarian/vegan option (as I'm vegetarian), but I also think the sofritas mix is quite salty. I only ate one and a half out of my three tacos, so that is a plus for leftovers and the guacamole is very tasty. I think next time I will try the burrito bowl and maybe change up my salsas or just get them on the side so I can monitor them. I love spice, but I'm not a huge fan of smoked flavor. My daughter got a kids meal with tortillas, whole pinto beans, white rice, chips, and sour cream. Her kids meal came with a drink. She is also a vegetarian and very much enjoyed her food. The cost was just under $15 for the two of us, so fairly reasonably priced; however, she is only 5-years-old and I don't eat very much, so maybe a little on the spendy side for a fast food type of place for just us. read more

Chipotle has a novel idea, but one burrito place is the same as all the others. A lot of the times they don't have enough people working the line so the lines can get loooong with even longer waits. The chips are a bit expensive and depending on how they were cooked are really a hit or a miss. I don't get why the burritos end up being so huge when Chipotle kind of markets itself as being a healthy alternative to other fast food. It's like you're eating healthy, but you're still stuffing your face past the limit your stomach is supposed to eat. Overall, I kind of find the food here a bit boring and repetitive. This is the worst Chipotle I have ever been. Ordered a barbacoa bowl. When I went to eat it the meat was cold and had grease in it, like they wrapped up a leftover meal. No salsa, very little sour cream and the bowl was half full like someone had eaten half the meal. My co workers meal had no salsa and no lettuce that she requested. I placed a call to the manager. He didn't seem to care. We won't be going back to this one. I will stick to the Gyro restaurant next door. read more

Its safe to say Im a Chipotle addict. I have it at least once a week if not more. Chicken Bowl with half chicken and half sofritas is my new favorite. I like that everything is organic. Even if you are on a diet or watching what you eat, you can always get something here, its nice to have that option. Chipotle is a place I will go out of my way for. The one here at Kent Station is always nice for a quick bite to eat and a movie. Just a atmosphere. Busier in the summer time thats for sure. Sadly, since writing my review about how gluten-free-friendly this restaurant is, i've learned that everything is cooked with soybean oil. That sucks big time! Is it really that much cheaper than canola oil? So i cannot eat anything at Chipotle anymore because i've recently discovered that i'm allergic to soy. Walked in and watched 2 of the workers eat food with their bare hands as they were cooking the food. After telling them I am not ordering anymore because of what I just saw the one who was eating with bare hands told me they are told to test the food. -- That's fine but don't be testing the food on the food production line, while you are cooking, and also WASH YOUR HANDS, maybe take the food in the back and try it.
