Not open standing out side in the hot sun when they should be open just another reason not to come back

Dear Management at Chipotle of Kingman, This chipotle is one of the worst I've been to - and I've been to MANY. First of all, the workers are super stingy with the portion sizes of the RICE AND BEANS, cheapest food in the world. Also, they all appear to be around 14 years old and the whole time I was in line they were gossiping to each other behind the counter. Then, as if things couldn't get worse, I was sitting on the patio and one of the male workers comes out, sits at a table two over from mine, and lights a cigarette. He proceeded to blow smoke in our direction. There is a clear no smoking sign in the window. Then, one of the very young looking girls runs into a car driven by another female chipotle worker who appeared to be off-duty, smokes a cigarette, and runs back into work. Very unprofessional to say the least. I would go so far as to say this was RUDE. Hopefully the management can get these kids under control. Standards are always decent at this chain but I think it's worth mentioning my meal was prepped by a different worker than my husband and I got the exact same meal but way way smaller amount of food in my bowl vs. his.. and it's a fricken ice box in the building!! No one was sitting inside because of it, and those in line where shivering. All the tables outside had ppl on them. read more

Kingman is a good place for a lunch stop when driving between Phoenix and Vegas, and Chipotle is definitely one of the better fast food spots, and it is right of the highway, so it's quite convenient. I did discover something new at this Chipotle, at least new to me, this restaurant has the sofritas in the menu, which I had heard about, but as of this writing are not yet available in my hometown Chipotle. I'm about as far from a vegan as you can get, but I had to try it (them?) and enjoyed them (it?), I can see myself eating sofritas from time to time when they come to Texas. read more

I dont know what new people you guys have hired but the service was terrible. The lady who made the food barely gave us any rice, beans or sofritas and I had to ask her for more sofritas. I would have asked for more beans and rice but she probably would have barely gave me any more like she did with the sofritas. I am not pleased with this trip and have taken the survey as well as reviewed you guys on Google. Treat your customers like individuals and stop trying to rush the line. First time having chipotle in Arizona as I am from Illinois and this chipotle was much better than any of the ones I've had in Illinois. The employees were very kind and the food was well seasoned. They made sure my burrito was stuffed and even had to double wrap it which I didn't know they did until today. Would have given them more stars if possible. Not sure what just happened. There was only one other person in line yet the counter staff were super over urgently hurried. We were pushed through way too fast and our food slopped together. The staff came off a bit careless and pushy. I would be more understanding if the place had customers or a line. I've never had such weird service at chipotle. Many chipotles are far busier and in a hurry yet still service oriented and mindful. On top of that , the girl told me that I couldn't have a tortilla in my bowl. She said "I'm not allowed to put it in the bowl, only on the side". That would be fine but I was curious why... Considering I have ordered it that way for over four years now, all over the country from Manhattan to LA. So, I politely said...Really, why not? She got huffy and put it in the bowl anyway without even answering my question of why. Sheesh! It's just a tortilla. Is there some health concern about putting it in the bowl that I should be aware of?? If it costs extra these days then just let me know and I will pay. I don't know the issue because you basically rolled your eyes at my question! To top it off , the bottom of one of our bowls got soiled from them dragging it across a dirty counter... We have been eating at this Chipotle location about 1-3 times a month since they opened, and we love it. In case you're wondering, the majority of the bad reviews are from when they first opened. There was a learning curve, guys. This is the nicest fast food place in town, the workers needed a while to get up to speed with Chipotle standards! I have seen the service, speed, and quality of food gradually increase every time we go, and we go often because it's MY family's ONLY real fast food option in town due to food allergies. read more

Came here a couple years ago, food was great and staff were very friendly and helpful. Today, they were stingy on the beef, not friendly, and not helpful when asked about their genuine cheese sauce. We had to look it up online and it turns out to be good ingredient wise but the flavor was bland. Spent over $5 dollars on it for a few bites. My wife did not like it as well, we had to throw it out. The beef given was at most 3oz, and a couple big chunks were tendons. No smiles. Unpleasant experience. read more

food is good but refuse to go their due to not letting you order and take out in kingman, az with out a mask on. in az it isn't required now. all other places do not have this rule. besides you go in with mask order and then take two steps and sit down and take it off to eat there. really. no germs will get others if you are at the table eating but paying will infect all around you. only an idiot would beleive that. get with the program and let us pick up our food and leave maskless. read more

Finally Chipotle in Kingman! If only my boss wanted to come out it's the only place he eats! I overheard some employees at another local Mexican fast-food joint discussing if they'd eaten here yet... none had. Every time I have driven by there is a line out the door... just like every other Chipotle on Earth! This one is just as good... consistent, speedy, delicious food... all organic and responsibly cultivated (and owned by McDonalds). I would HIGHLY recommend you check it out. I eat at chipotle three times a week in PHX and always get the same thing a bean and cheese burrito pressed in the quesadilla press to melt he cheese. This place in Kingman refused to press it for me and they charged me three points..which means it's 5 dollars for a bean and cheese burrito.. every chipotle I have been to has classified the B+C burritos as two sides which means it comes out to 2$. First time having this place and I'm greeted by a server kissing up on another server while she cuts up chicken. Seriously?! I don't care if you're dating a coworker but I don't wanna wait for you to finish to get my stuff. Grow up and save that for home. Good food tho. read more

Just ate at the Kingman Chipotle, 11:30 am thinking we would be fresh coked meat! NOPE, it was cold and possibly left over from last night. Also, the person dishing the meat was so skimpy on the portions made me think the didn't have enough food for the rest of the day! Will not be back this used to be my favorite place to eat in Kingman, guess next time we'll go to In & Out! read more

Had to be one of the oddest dining experiences I've ever had. Arrived to place a take out order a little before 8 p.m. The place was dimly lit and most of the staff appeared to be cleaning up and shutting down. I ordered tacos. They told me they had no hard taco shells made at the times. I asked if they were closing soon, and the salesgirl responded with "at 10 p.m." So at 8 p.m. they are cleaning up the place, and have stopped making tacos shells. A customer arrives after me - I here her too ask what time they are closing. Again, staff cleaning up, mopping floors, wiping down machines, restaurant is so dim you wouldn't want to dine inside and yet there are two more hours to go?? The oddest and most unprofessional aspect was that there was a Chipotle worker (She appeared to be in charge, but who knows) that was talking to a clerk in the restaurant from another dining option next door. They were in the middle of the restaurant standing there and then move outside to the patio. The clerk who was ringing me up with my order was clearly distracted and barely made eye contact with me as she watched these two young women. Honestly, I don't know how this Chipotle is in business. I would encourage management or corporate to review their staffing options here. Not a good representation of a national chain. read more

Chipotle is a hit and a miss, It will be really good and fresh some of the days and some is not so good. Same goes for the staffing. I ordered a bowl with double chicken, hot salsa, cheese and guac. The chicken didn't taste fresh as if it had been sitting from hours earlier and the staff member who helped me get my order together put half chicken and other half steak after instead of what I originally told him which was double chicken. The chips, I'm fooled about every time. I'll eat one chip and it will be fresh and the next few chips will be old soggy with an abundance of lime and salt. Ew. I also fee every time I go in there, the tables are nasty as to why I never dine in. Way overpriced. A couple behind us ordered off the kids menu...seems like the only way to get out for under $8 a person. If you order chips and salsa and a drink, you're talking over $10...for not so great fast food. Better food at local Mexican restaurants. I really don't care about organic and such when I'm eating this kind of food, so the extra $$ isn't worth it to me. If you've eaten there before then it's probably not an issue, but the menu (if you can call it that) is sorta confusing for a first or second timer. "Cheese OR Sour Cream". Kinda sounds like you get a choice of just one. No explanation of the different meats. Salsas are far spicier than the norm for mild and medium...can't imagine what the hot is like. Even the guac has more spice than I normally like. I want to taste avocado and cilantro and lime...not heat. They've been open for about 2 months and it still seems like some of the people are confused on what they are doing. My husband ordered chicken tacos and chips with salsa to bring home. My tacos were missing the meat and they gave me pico instead of salsa. He called and they wanted me to bring back the tacos for replacement. I'm already home and too hungry for that, so I'm eating veggie tacos that I overpaid for and plain chips because salsa is not the same as pico! What I ate was good but will not be back. read more

Chipotle is one of my favorite fast foods so I have visited many of them. This location needs to provide more training to the counter staff. One of the people behind the counter was loudly yelling at another employee multiple times during the visit instead of walking over to speak to them. It didn't seem as if a manager was present, things seemed disorderly. The bathrooms need a thorough cleaning and updating. Tortilla warmer looked like it hadn't been cleaned in the last 3 mos. maybe longer. The food was ok not quite up to Chipotle standard. read more

Honestly this is the only place that I have been to that is greedy with the food ! It's one spoon per product not half a damn spoon of it ! The burrito was so small and that's not what Chipotle Mexican Grill serves ! So this location needs to get it together! read more

Well, now I have somewhere to stop on the drive from Phoenix to Las Vegas. I had no idea that there was a Chipotle in Kingman. I went here for lunch a couple weeks ago with my sisters and we were all pleased with the food and service. The place was pretty clean, too. No complaints from me; I will be back. read more

Very disappointed. Went there for dinner with my grandma. I had a steak burrito bowl and my grandma had a carnitas burrito and we shared chips and spicy salsa. Everything was served COLD. It was very busy as all new restaurants in Kingman are so everything was fresh but between the AC being in full blast and the way the food was assembled our meals were as good as garbage. Worst Chipotle ever! I travel the country for work and love Chipotle, because they are Paleo friendly, but this one treated me horrible. They weren't busy and tried to push me through the line as if the line was out the door. Additionally every Chipotle I've been to will serve me the peppers and onions uncooked (i do this to stay paleo and actually have some veggies since there veggie choice is overall poor), this one would not, very not okay. We waited a few weeks for the initial furor to die down before trying this restaurant. Went on a weekend night for dinner before a movie. No, it's not particularly cheap, but the food is good and plentiful. I didn't find them to be chintzy with the meat or anything else. My bowl was full when I paid for it and it was plenty satisfying. We've been back twice since and even though the line is sometimes long, it moves pretty quickly. The folks serving (and there seem to be an awful lot of them) are efficient and explain if you have a question about the types of meat or the additions. I'd rather they explain when you ask than hitting me with a spiel that I don't need to hear. I haven't taken the time to look at the nutritional information for Chipotle but it certainly MUST be better for you than McDonald's, Taco Bell, Carl's, or any of the other "fast food" offerings. I think of it as a kind of happy medium between drive-through fast food and restaurant fare because it's fast but not greasy or mostly bread. read more

Chicken And brown rice bowl with medium hot sauce is great. Service was great and very friendly. Love their food! Love how they have soda water for their water. A bonus. $9 bucks so a little pricey but worth it. You could probably split a bowl. read more
