In-N-Out is always remarkably consistent. I got the hamburger with extra lettuce, onion (grilled!), and tomato with animal style fries. Yum! I'm the type of person that doesn't like a meat-heavy dish, so the extra veggies really keeps the burger refreshing and light. Everything here is pretty fresh so the lettuce was crisp and tomato not soggy at all. The fries here can be polarizing. It's freshly cut, but they don't do the double fry that the majority of places do, so it's not super crispy on the outside. It tends to the rather soggy side, and if you ask for a longer fry time (well done), then the outside is crisp but the inside super dry. I don't mind, but my husband absolutely hates it. There was a bit of a wait, but the cooks were fairly quick in churning out orders, so it wasn't too bad psychologically. The bathrooms were very clean. The cashier that rang me up at this location was rude. It wasn't busy when we stopped by but she had a bad attitude as soon as we walked up to order. I placed my order, asked her for a water cup and she ignored me. I stood there and again repeated myself and she walked off to grab it without saying anything... but she kept her stanky face. I live in Albuquerque New Mexico but come from the Bay Area. My family loves In-N-Out, and like to visit whenever we travel. We recently were on a trip to LA and visited this location coming and going. We weren't disappointed! The consistency has been there wherever we go, both with the training of their teams and the food. I worked for an ABQ restaurant as their Facilities Director for 13 years and know how challenging maintaining that kind of quality is. I was hoping the In-N-Out Burger stop we made traveling along the I-40 towards Vegas would be just like I remember. It had been years since I had been to one. Good, easy location in Kingman, AZ. Drive-thru available. We used the restrooms and washed up before getting in line which was no wait. Service was the typical friendly variety, but man were they slow with our order in particular. I'm not sure why. All we ordered on November 23, 2025, was: - animal style fries ($4.50) - animal style cheeseburger ($3.89) - 2 more cheeseburgers ($7.78) - 3 medium drinks ($6.60) Then our takeout was cold. I'm a fries-first trier; i.e. I like to sneak fries fresh out of the bag as soon as I receive them. They were cold by the time we reached the door towards the parking lot. Same with my burger. Living on the east coast it very rare you see an in n out so when I make it to the west coast this is a must. I wish my fries were hotter but I inhaled my buger they never disappoint. An employee, Deborah, went out of her way to clean and set a table for us. She offered to get us drink refills, get ketchup, napkins, etc. She was constantly walking around and making sure all the customers had everything they needed. I tipped her when we were leaving and she was hesitant to take the tip. I told her we were very happy with the service she provided and that she seemed happy to be there. Solid In-N-Out location. We usually visit this spot if we are in town for the Mojave County Fair or passing through on our way to Vegas or Laughlin. Wait time is what you'd expect for it being the only In-N-Out in the immediate area. Our order is always taken by a friendly server regardless of the time of day or night - or weather. We have eaten mostly through the drive thru, but have gone inside as well. The food is always made fresh, is hot, and our orders are always correct. What more could you ask for? We definitely recommend stopping here whenever you are in or just passing through Kingman. Nothing like cruising parts of the old Route 66, seeing history, checking out murals, and the occasional car show as you cruise your way back to the freeway or your Airbnb for the night. read more

The burgers here cost $3.60. It may not be the best burger I've ever had but name a place that sells burgers for $3.60 that it is on the same level of quality that In N Out has. Not only that, but the customer service here is stellar and consistent in comparison to other fast food places. With great prices and great food, you can guess that this place is constantly busy. If you want to save time, it's faster to order inside rather than waiting in the drive thru. Note that you can get extra lettuce and tomato on your burger for free. Ask for well done on your fries if you want crispy fries. Ask for protein style burgers if you'd rather replace the buns with lettuce. Like many others, we've stopped at this In-N-Out Burger on our way from Phoenix to Vegas and/or back. It's a great way to break up the trip and our experiences here have always been consistent. On our most recent stop, we were heading back home from Vegas after a long weekend away on the pickleball courts and the whole family was excited for this stop to use the bathroom and for some burgers and fries. We were there late afternoon, around 4:30, so there wasn't a line, which was nice. We found parking no problem and all of the staff the staff that we encountered were friendly, even going around to clear our trays as we finished. Bathrooms were clean too. I ended up going twice and more or less got the same thing both times. They are double double Berger animal style is perhaps the finest fast food hamburger in the world. On a road trip to Vegas from Phoenix and stopped in here right at the end of the lunch rush hour. This is my normal stop on the Vegas. The parking lot has seen better days, so if you have a low clearance car, use the second entrance to the lot. The dining room was kept clean - there was someone that was continually going thru the room clearing tables and sweeping. There was also an attendant that came thru the restrooms that kept those clean as well. The dining room was chilly - the vents are very drafty in some areas, other areas are okay. Luckily we were able to find a spot that wasn't in the chill-zone. We ordered a couple #2s animal style and a vanilla shake. The food was great and came out warm (and shake cold). You always have a long way whether you're inside or outside in the Drive-Thru, it might be a little pricey.. but it is worth it nothing fancy just fresh and juicy, and they do have some good looking and very friendly people there. The employees here are super friendly and even gave my kids free hot cocoa with extra marshmallows and a scented sticker sheet! I recommend the double protein style with extra sauce.
