This is a review of the Chipotlane experience. I ordered on the app for pickup at 5:45pm. I arrived at 5:40pm and they had my food ready. It was a large family meal and everything was packed neatly. I forgot to tell write on the app to substitute the lettuce for something else (you know... because of explosive diarrhea). The worker there said that I can get any type of salsa instead. She let me keep the lettuce also. It went in the trash later, lol. The service was great. The location is in the Target area right next to Chicfila. There seems to have plenty of parking also. The food we received was pretty good except I noticed that the chicken didn't have much flavor. It did not taste like the standard Chipotle seasoning, which was disappointing. read more

We have tried this place a couple of times. The 1st time was shortly after it had initially opened. Since then we have tried 2 other times. Bad Idea - disappointed again both times. Strike 3. We will not be going back to this Chipotle location. Maybe better management might help - not sure since we like Chipotle. read more

Love the flavor, hate the portions! The food at this Lathrop Chipotle is standard and delicious, but they are incredibly conservative with their servings. Having been to many different locations, I noticed a huge difference in how much food you actually get here. Hopefully, they can be a bit more generous with their scoops in the future! read more

I love the order ahead and pick up Chipotlane. I've only gone in once and noticed the inside line still gets long. The chipotlane gets long too but it's very convenient for me. Nothing to complain about they normally get my order correct just double check before leaving especially during rush hour times. I highly suggest signing up with chipotle online because they do send rewards like a free side of guacamole or queso, chips or a drink. Parking lot is shared with other eateries but is a bit under construction due to a new location food spot opening up. read more

Worst Chipotle I have ever been to. It is always dirty, and nasty. The restrooms are FILTHY. The the manager is giving an interview in a filthy restaurant right next to the customers in line. Oh by the way there isn't any chicken after waiting in line for 10 minutes. read more

This particular Chipotle location has only 1.5 stars at the time of writing this review, and honestly, that still may be too generous. Hey local Chipotle Store Manager, here is some free advice that will make you look like a genius in front of Corporate. If you increase your staffing, you WILL increase revenue and your Yelp star average WILL increase. Until you increase staffing, you will always have the same issues that are causing the 1.5 star average for your store. If you are a customer reading this review, RUN AWAY! You will have a long wait due to short staffing. Customer service is lacking because the miserable workers are always swamped due to short staffing. The ingredients are constantly old and stale due to short staffing. If you order ahead, you won't get your order at the promised time and the order will taste gross because of.... yes, that's right, short staffing. read more

I've been here since it opened, living in Lathrop it's a convenient drive but every time I'm craving a burrito or bowl I always want to give it a fair chance. Not anymore, the barbacoa always has so much fat in it, and they always pack it with so much rice and a little dash of meat. Finally tried the Chipotle locate near me. So far I've been to this spot twice. The first visit was with my mom. We beat the dinner rush by a few mins because behind us the line got longer. We both ordered a chipotle bowl. I got the bowl with the steak and she got hers with the chicken. Other items we added to the bowl was the brown rice, extra lettuce, roasted chili-corn salsa, fresh tomato salsa, guacamole and sour cream. We also got some chips and guac. 2nd visit was with my boyfriend. We decided to place our order through the app and pick up our food at the Chipotlane. You only pick up your order here. Service: walked in with just one guy working the counter and register. No one was in line but he was doing something at the register. It took a solid 5 minutes before he slowly walked over to start helping us. Food: we ordered 2 bowls. The brown rice was being scraped off the bottom of the pan just to get one bowl, no offer or attempt to get some fresh rice. It was crunchy. They were also out of fajitas veggies. When I asked he simply said "they need to be prepped"! I mean really? You're out of brown rice and veggies? Ambiance: restaurant was not busy but was not clean. Tables and floors needed attention. Overall: I've definitely had better service at a cleaner better stocked Chipotle. I gave two stars as the food itself was good...what they actually had available. read more

We ordered on the app and went in once the app said our order was ready for pick up. Usually there's a shelf and the completed orders are all labeled and I can just grab my order, but this location has the pick up shelf behind the counter so you have to get them to give you your order. We let the person who was working that station know that we had ordered for pick up and that the app just informed us that our order was ready. She went to the shelf where all the completed orders were, we watched her look over all of the bags of completed orders and then come back and tell us that there was no order for us under the name we gave her. I stood there confused and then I watched her go back to her station and then start to make another order. I watched the entire scene, watched as she completed the order, pack it up and put it on the shelf. I saw no other person approach her shelf, and nobody removed or added a bag of food to the shelf. Then I watched her pick up one of the bags that she had originally looked over when she told us that she had no order under our name, and then she gave it to us. I was absolutely floored. Our food was ready, completed, and on the shelf from the get-go, just as the app said it was, but she told us that she had no order under the name Annette C, proceeded to complete another order, and then turned around and gave us our order which had been there the whole time. She had a smug little smirk on her face when our eyes met. This was totally unnecessary, unacceptable, and very passive aggressive. That poor lady is so absolutely powerless in her personal life that she's over here being passive aggressive with people's orders just to carve out some tiny semblance of control for herself. I just can't imagine being so utterly miserable. Our food was also lacking. It's like they are not following the recipes correctly and so you don't have the familiar Chipotle Mexican Grill flavors that bring you to their kitchen. They are not upholding their standards at this location and it is very much reflected in the flavors. The meat was even cut differently than what I'm used to from other locations that we've frequented over the last decade. The lobby was the standard clean that you can expect from them. They just need to screen their employees a little better and weed out the ones who feel the need to slight the customers with their trifling behaviors, nobody has time for that stuff. This location has low ratings for good reason. Maybe try another location until they sort themselves out. read more

I want to give a huge shoutout to Claudia and Matthew at this Chipotle. I came through the Chipotle Lane to pick up my order, but their system was down. Claudia went out of her way to make an exception and help me since I had my baby in the car, instead of asking me to go back inside while they remade my order. I also noticed the team was short-staffed and even dealing with a very rude customer inside, yet Claudia still managed to prepare my order quickly and it was absolutely delicious. Matthew was incredibly kind and respectful--he even made sure to thank me for being patient and let me know he appreciated it. Big ups to both of them. Their kindness and professionalism made a stressful situation so much easier, and I truly appreciate it. read more

This is the bowl you get for the pick up window. Raw " fajita" veggies. A quarter scoup of chicken and basically an empty bowl. My wife's bowl was pretty much rice and lettuce. Do not waste your time here. This has turned me off to chipotle for good. They have been going downhill for years. UPDATE: don't waste your time going to the "contact us" reply. They have you fill out a complaint with their "automated" customer service and then say. Thank we will do better. Chipotle is a joke save your money and your time. The BEST thing about this Chipotle is their Chipotle Lane, which is basically a drive thru for picking up mobile orders. I have saved SO much time with this option, and don't carry qualms with slower service when going inside. In terms of portions, I've experienced under- and over-scoops. BUT whoever worked the mobile orders on July 3, 2022, deserves a raise. They were extremely generous with their scoops and for that in combination with the Chipotle Lane, 5/5. read more

3 years later. Still terrible. Find another chipotle. My nephew was sick and throwing up last night after eating a bowl. Chipotle WAS his favorite place. This location ruined it for him. Update 5/20: My other nephew had to go to the hospital the following day and was diagnosed with food poisoning. He is sick and missing finals week at school. Update 5/21: My nephew is back in the hospital with a fever that won't subside, amongst other symptoms. He will clearly be missing his Vegas trip planned for Friday. They both had the chicken. The chipotle was super dirty, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting, there was no toilet seat covers, pee all over the seat and floor was wet. The floors inside were super messy and dirty, the garbage was overflowing and the tables were not wiped down. I mean who doesn't love chipotle but they need to do a better job of keeping the fast food restaurant clean. I don't think I'll be going back anymore. read more
