And the staff were ok but we had a long wait even though we were the only ones in the line and they charged us 30 cents for a bag on top of our food, we don't even pay that much for bags in California. Worst customer service ever on support line. The last time I used them to cater a board of directors' lunch, I received a text right before they were due that said MY ORDER HAD BEEN CANCELLED randomly. Once I FINALLY got a real person on the phone, they told me I could come pick it up! There is a reason we have it delivered because I don't have time to pick it up. TODAY WAS NOT ANY BETTER. No communication 15 minutes before it was due. Over 30 minutes on the phone with catering customer service (3 different people), trying to find out a status of my order for 15 people. I finally began receiving some text messages but then they stopped. Driver finally arrived without any update texts - the salsa was tipped on its side and leaking, the guac was tipped over and sloshed to one side. Three big dishes of lettuce and just two small dishes of meat. Fortunately, I have an amazing group of people I am serving lunch to, so they have been very gracious. And btw 1-800-CHIPOTLE isn't a good phone number because it has 11 numbers in it instead of 10. Very, very disappointed. I will never use them again. read more

Let me just start by saying I have been going to this Chipotle my entire life, I grew up in the area and this is the closest location. They've had their ups and downs, but I always stick with them. That may have ended, truly had a horrible experience today. A few weeks back, we ordered online, when we got home, our order was completely wrong like we had been given someone else's on accident. Chatted with pepper on the app, and was given a free entrée. No big deal, appreciated them making it right. Anyways, went in to use my free entree today, and was completely humiliated by the employee (I think the manager). In the terms and conditions of the coupon it says, "additional cost for more than two premium add-ons (Guacamole, Queso Blanco, Extra protein). I went through and ordered my steak bowl with one serving of extra protein and guacamole. When I got to the payment counter, the younger kid working at the register let me scan my code and said your all good. As I started to walk away, the manager gentleman said wait wait wait and made a huge deal about that's not how it works and I wasn't allowed to do that and that he was gonna check me out himself since clearly he was upset and thought the young kid had done something wrong. I tried to explain to him and show it clearly says in the terms and condition that is was allowed, but to no avail. He tried to tell me that getting steak as my meat was already one of my "premium" options. He tried to put it back in the system and just charge me for a side of guacamole, while a massive line formed behind me and he continually told me over and over that I couldn't get any "extras" with my free burrito. I was mortified, and will definitely not be coming back if I see him working. Made me feel absolutely horrible and embarrassed as a customer. I know the coupons can get confusing, especially one that was given to me from the corporate site, and different from a normal rewards redemption, but he just could've handled it so much better and been more kind. My wife just did an order on the app, grabbed the food and we hit the road. By the time we got around to eating the burritos we noticed all of them were about 4 inches long and the chips were overcooked. This Chipotle has become very inconsistent quality wise and I would warn about doing phone or app orders. If you are going to get take out do yourself a favor and go in so you don't get a kid's size burrito but still pay the adult prices. read more

I was craving a steak burrito so I placed an online order for pickup When I arrived the front door had signs that clearly stated that you MUST wear a facial covering to be served. As I waited for my order there was a young man standing at the counter to place an order and the lady behind the counter reminded him that she couldn't serve him if he wasn't wearing a mask. The customer replied to her reminder " do you want me to leave ? " to which she replied " no I will take your order ". What sense does it make to state masks required if you don't enforce it ? Truly the worst customer service experience. We walked in and no one acknowledged our presence until they were done with a long online order. It seemed like it was a change in shift so there were about 10 people behind the counter and no one was paying attention to our order. Then, one of the people working came up to the counter and wanted to change out the cash drawer right as we were getting ready to pay and we were the ONLY people in the restaurant. I ordered a chicken bowl with brown rice, tomato salsa, corn salsa, lettuce, sour cream, guac, and chicken. I had six pieces of chicken, barely any tomato salsa and hardly any rice. Since when is it okay to charge $9 for a half bowl? You should look at how much you guys give your orders.... I have had this issue when I'm ordering there as well. I went in to have lunch at 2:00 on March 3. I was the only customer in the place. I saw 4 staff working. Dining room was open with 1/2 tables marked closed. Every single open table was dirty. Trash can in the dining room overflowing. I asked staff to clean the tables. They had to look for a spray bottle and then only quickly cleaned 1 table for me. I was there for another 15 minutes. Is this place even managed? I frequent chipotle at least three times a week and as much as I try to avoid this place I have ended up here a few times in the last two months. They are never open at 10:45 AM. Often times I am standing out the door waiting for them to open up as a few minutes goes by. When they do finally let me in there is no apology or reasoning for why they left me outside waiting for them to open. Even when I am inside I'm still waiting for them to hastily put the product in the right place. Often times the rice is from the night before and is still cold and hard. The trash cans are even full from the night before. Today was my final straw. I was in a time crunch and I waited five minutes past the opening time which made me late for an appointment. On my way out I ran into the bathroom to wash my hands and there was no soap. The alarming factor was that the bathroom smelled like somebody went number two and I was the only customer in the store. Alright: Louisville Chiptole This one has a special place in my heart; most Chipotles I've been to lack one thing: parking. Usually put in high-volume areas, they almost always lack that special something...easy access. This one however, as much parking as needed, and to boot, is never packed. I've always been able to get a good place to sit here, and the vaulted ceilings definitely help with the spacious feel of this Chipotle. The food has always been excellent and fresh, and the chips - always a hit and miss with Chipotle - have always been perfectly salted with lime. Sure it's a chain restaurant, but this location so positively surprised me when I visited late on a Friday night! Such terrific camaraderie within the crew, incredibly evident, and it made for a superb customer service experience. I cannot say enough good things about Julio, who was professional, friendly, kind, and got our order completely right with excellent interaction. My daughter enjoyed her steak quesadilla, and my steak tacos were tasty. I like Chipotle's consistency across the USA in my extensive travels, but this place stood out because the staff got it so right. I love this location! Every employee is always so nice, and the food is always delicious. They make sure to practice all COVID precautions to keep everybody safe. After further visits, I've come to think that this Chipotle is one of the worst in the area. There's always been something wrong every time I come in. On my most previous visit, I took 3 bites of my burrito before I realized that the CHICKEN WAS BARELY COOKED. Had I eaten it in the restaurant, I would have had a stern discussion with the manager (Karen alert), but lucky for them I took my food to go. Then the time before this last one, I took my burrito bowl to go, only to discover at home that they barely filled the bowl with the toppings I asked for. I guess I'll just have to pay more attention to the clowns making my food and make sure they put a normal serving of rice, beans, chicken, salsas, cheese, guac, and lettuce instead of the half-sized servings they gave me. No joke, when I got home and opened up the burrito bowl I definitely thought someone had already taken 5 huge bites of it. But sure enough, it's just the kids on the line, rushing through the burrito topping process and not filling the serving spoons all the way. It's bad enough that I'm already paying out the woz for an overpriced burrito, but to have them gypping me on the servings like this makes me consider permanently making the switch to Qdoba.
