We've eaten at this particular McDonald's for years, I used to order Big Macs, got older and it was bit too much. I changed over to cheeseburgers, except they began to be served smushed. Then, changed over to nuggets with half BBQ and sweet and sour sauce. Nowadays, we usually order lunch and order 10 piece chicken nuggets, fries and drink. The nuggets are okay, get large fries which have been over salty and cold by time we eat it. Strangely, nuggets are warm, but fries are cold, stale and over salted. I love McDonald's French fries they are my favorite! It doesn't matter on McDonald's location(s) it's hard to go wrong. We never eat at the location, we can't give opinion on ambiance and service is okay, as long as they give correct order and we are ok. The only problem we've ever had is not receiving sauce. read more

On May 25, 2025, I visited the McDonald's location at 633 West Hampden, Englewood, Colorado, between 10-12 PM. I placed an order through the kiosk and specified that I intended to dine in. However, when my order was ready, the staff informed me that I had to leave the premises. I explained that this was not what I had paid for and requested a refund of $25.00. Instead of providing a refund, the staff member called two Englewood Police Officers. I attempted to explain the situation to the officers, but they were unresponsive to my concerns. I eventually gathered my belongings and left the premises. During the interaction, I expressed my belief that the treatment I received was discriminatory. Officer Smith responded dismissively, suggesting that I should sue. I felt that this response was unprofessional and indicative of a broader issue with the police department's handling of customer complaints. I am seeking a refund of $25.00 and a formal apology from McDonald's regarding this incident. I also hope that the Englewood Police Department will take steps to address the unacceptable behavior of its officers. read more

This McDonalds is glorious. It was remodeled in about 2002. It was worn down and tired, it kept going. It survived the flood of 2013, hail of 2017 and fire of 22. Now remodeled again, like a pheonix, it will rise from the ashes surrounding it. This very McDonalds serves a critical service to our uptight and white neighborhood. The power of Yelp! Every McDonalds has a 2 star rating yet there is always a line at the drive thru. America's favorite and most successful fast food restaurant is rocking those 2 stars and flicking a booger at Yelp! For me, It's 5 stars - I got a coke, 2 sausage egg and cheese McMuffins. Kid got a happy meal and an hour of indoor play time..... and I spent less than 10 bucks! Service was fine. Place was clean. I GOT WHAT I EXPECTED and that's 5 stars! It's almost as if Yelp needs a fast food rating scale or more Yelp reviewer training for what the ratings mean. Why not rate service, value, quality, cleanliness, selection, presentation, and taste all separately then roll up the score into an overall? Why doesn't Yelp give reviewers their own rating based on the quality and credibility of their reviews. Then this could create a reviewer weighting for each review they give. Why not use a 10 star likert scale? This would create greater differentiation in scores and avoid the 3 star central tendency that all restaurants' gravitate towards. There is so much potential for this platform but because the system has built in limitations, users cannot accurately distinguish between good, better, and best. THE RATINGS MEAN NOTHING. Unless it's fine dining, restaurants don't take Yelp seriously! Carry on.... something better will come along in due time read more

The person that was talking to us in the drive through took a long time to speak. We would ask a question and they would take a long 1 min to wait to answer. We orders 4 large French fries and they said it was 3.00$ but it came up on the screen 16$ then the guy said he would get his manger to talk to us even though he could have just told us the answer to our question (wich he knew) then got his manger and she answers the simple question that there was 1.00$ tax on each large fry. It took a long time to get through the drive though because the people were making it so complicated. read more

I ordered an egg and cheese biscuit, and had to pay extra for a sausage egg and cheese without sausage. I only got a biscuit. The manager working was really nice and apologetic, even gave me free apple slices. But then I looked and I only got egg on my biscuit..frustrated about that entire experience. read more

I would have to agree with Glenn that this McDonald's, for the most, part has nice employees, the place is kept clean and the decor is quite trendy and nice as well. Though I wouldn't call myself a regular, I have been here several times over the past several years as it's conveniently located and there are no other fast food joints in the near vicinity....and sometimes I just crave their Filet-o-Fish, my personal childhood fave which still tastes just as good! My only complaint would be that, out of the last 4 times that I have gotten drive-through orders, my order has been either completely wrong or missing something. Perhaps I should be checking before I drive off and get home but the whole point of the order screen I thought was to ensure the order taker got your order right, so you would assume the other folks would as well...once I ordered my usual filet-o-fish but also got some chicken nuggets and ended up with a Big Mac and Quarter Pounder instead....another time I ordered 2 of those apple pies (so yummy tho' they're not good for you) and didn't even realize they were missing until the next day (which shows you I really didn't need them....BUT I did pay for them, so....). Can't believe I'm reviewing a McDonalds but this particular location, of which I am a semi-regular, needs to be credited for being the finest McDonalds I have ever been to. Here's why: *Very clean (unusually so compared to your average McDonalds) * Super nice employees (see above re: compared to your average McDonalds) *A surprisingly decent place to get work done outside of the office (I mean like when you need to actually get stuff done). I'm not a coffee drinker and I'm never more productive than sat at a table in the back with a $1 Diet Coke. It almost has a coffee shop atmosphere with people working, studying and even conducting business meetings. * Great place to take the kids for the indoor playground and a $1 ice cream when it's 7° outside (and apparently it's not only my kids who like eating ice cream when it's 7°). Why the one-star knock? *They have several TV's which are sometimes turned to Fox News = annoyance. Not asking for MSNBC but would prefer they turn them down a little or at least go with the slightly more impartial CNN. * It's a McDonalds. Sorry, but I'm already going to get enough grief from the Boulderites for writing a positive review as it is. read more

I have gone in the McDonald's in Louisville, CO at least 6 out of 7 nights for the last 2 years to get dinner for my neighbor who is wheelchair & home bound. Last night a heavy set hispanic man in his 20's or 30's was at the cash register. I tried to order a quarter pounder with cheese, no salt, no ketchup, substitute big Mac sauce. On the cash register he hit "add mac sauce". I pointed out to him that there is an icon in the upper right part of the screen for "substitute mac sauce." He said I had to pay for the big mac sauce. I told him I had purchased this item many many times and always before was able to substitute mac sauce. He said twice more that I had to pay for it. So I left and drove across town to Burger King. I would like to know if this is a new policy? Or did I get an unfriendly employee with bad information and/or a bad attitude? With all your advertising and PR I seriously doubt that you want to lose a very good customer who comes in 6 days a week over 30 cents worth of sauce. read more

Be VERY careful when paying at this drive through. On several occasions, I have been asked to pay more than the amount on the receipt. Always check the food they give you. More often than not, it is incorrect or cold. read more

The managers who work here are terrible in the attitude toward their customers, I've gotten there an hour before closing and the manager was mad at us for coming and was saying things like "thank the lord everyone wants McDonald's during my shift." Another time, we went to the drive thru and usually we pay through the first window, however we waited 5 mins and no one came to the window so we pulled forward to the second window and was yelled at by another manager saying "it's not hard to wait at the first window." It's 6:34 am Manager gets insulted for asking for a FRESH egg mcmuffin-seriously? (I request a fresh egg mcmuffin, the woman taking my order ignores the twice request. After the third and insistent request she looks up at me and says "all of our food is fresh. I insist on a fresh order. The woman continues to go about her business NOT requesting a fresh order) then continues to take somebody else's order. After she takes his order, takes his money , and greets another customer , she decides to request the freshly made order (all the while leaves my coffee and orange juice on the side. this mcdonald's is my favorite because i work long hours and am not always able to cook for my kids, the happy meals are healthy, the price is right, in the evenings the girl at the counter is always smiling and pleasent, over all cleanliness of the play land is excelent, only problem with it is the video games don't work. i will definitly com again.. read more
