Their sandwiches are completely delicious. I like to order the bacon ranch chicken cheesesteak and it is amazing. It is definitely one of my favorite cheesesteaks around. I will say, their sandwiches are incredibly expensive. I do understand prices are going up everywhere, and I will continue eating here as the sandwiches are that good, but as far as a cheap sandwich place goes, this is not one of them. So I do expect you'll be spending about $15/$16 for a large sandwich, or around $22 for a large sandwich chip and drink. genuinely taste wise it is worth it. I mean that. So so good. read more

This is a fairly new business in Louisville and my first visit. The location is a little tucked away next to where the DQ used to be so I hope they survive. The place was clean and the young guys working the counter were very helpful and eager to serve. I had never tried a Jerzey Mike's previously and I was impressed. Went in for a sandwich came out with hard as a rock bread. The two guys behind the counter had no interest in being there thats why there work area looked terrible. No fresh bread no fresh tomatoes or lettuce. Terrible experience and will never go back, furthermore I tried to call the store and the phone was disconnected. Last night I went into Jersey Mike's to order five foot long meatball subs. The three employees were confused and said they were out of meatballs and could not make the sandwich. I asked them why on a Friday night Dinner time they were out of meatballs they had no answer. Further there was no other people in the restaurant. "I can see why" I have eaten at several other Jersey Mike's and have never had a problem like this. I believe the owner should investigate this and try correct fix this problem. read more

My first time here & probably my last. I ordered a chicken Philly today with lettuce and tomato & mayo on it to go. I got back to work and all I had was onions, peppers and cheese sammy, no chicken no lettuce, no tomato, no mayo. Did I mention no chicken? WTF?! I called right away & let them know. I just had the most absolute horrible experience at this location. I order from here once or more per week and will no longer be ordering from this store. I ordered my sandwiches nearly 2 hours ahead of pick up time selected. I get to the store on time, ask about my sandwich and I get "oh we had a really big order come in and haven't even started on your order". Okay - so I give them my name and say "I'll wait over here". 45 minutes later, I finally get my sandwiches. 45 minutes I stood in that store and twice I asked about where my order was and there was absolutely no urgency. I understand everywhere is understaffed right now but there were literally 5 people working there at this time. I had another recent experience at this store where I had to wait 15 minutes after my online pick up time but I chalked it up to there only being 1 guy there, despite it being a Tuesday at noon, which I assume calls for more than 1 person. We live in the area and have become frequenters of Jersey Mike's. They have enough variety that you don't get bored, but not so much that the quality is compromised because they're trying to do too much. We've had the Italian, Philly cheesesteak, chicken cheesesteak, chicken parm, buffalo chicken, turkey, chicken ceasar wrap...probably a few others. Everything is outstanding and can be customized with sauces/veggies/toppings to your liking. I love the service and presentation. They have the huge meat slicing machine up at the counter, so when you order your sandwich you can watch them prepare everything. If you order something with grilled chicken, you can watch them cook the chicken once you've ordered. Fresh fresh fresh! The subs are a little pricey, but they really are great. If we have company or family in town we'll often order 3-4 large subs and bring them home to share so everyone can try a few different things. They have Kids Eat Free deals on Sunday evenings too! read more

'Giant' size subs are a rip off! A Giant sub has twice the bread vs. a Regular, but only has half again more meats & cheeses. A reasonable person would expect twice the meats & cheeses on twice the bread. Subway 12" sandwiches have double the meat vs. a 6" sandwich. JM's sandwiches do not. JM's manager told me "Too bad." Took my money back and ate lunch elsewhere. Cannot recommend this place. $15 is too much for a sub only 3/4 full. read more

My friend and I came into the store to grab a quick sub before she took me to the airport. Upon walking in we were not greeted with a hello or welcome by either of the two guys working. When I placed my order for a # 16 chicken philly I asked for no peppers or onions and specified I only wanted meat,cheese, and lettuce. The employee cut the bread in half and threw it from the sub making station onto the grilled. He then took my friends order for an Italian sub. He asked her 3 more times while making the sub what she had ordered. The guys talked among themselves while making our subs. Two other boys walking in without uniform and just walked behind the counter(I'm assuming other off duty employees).The other two guys working started talking and joking with them. While the one employee was making my sub I notice that he started adding peppers and onions like I had specifically asked to not have, also trying to avoid waste. I had to mention to him that I didn't want those items so they began making another one. The employee making my friends sub was not looking at what he was doing and turned around talking to the other employee as he slapped he cheese, meats, and other condiments on the sub in an extremely nonchalant manner. My friend and I both starred in disbelief. She asked for Italian dressing as it was her first time here and he didn't not explain " Mike's way," like all other employees of every JM stores do. I've been an customer since 2011. I have been to 20 plus JM sub stores across the US, starting in NC and ending in Southern California. I have never been treated with so much disrespect at any restaurant let alone this named location. I've always had great experiences with JM. I now have my sandwich and don't want to even eat it because I'm so discussed and infuriated with this experience. In addition there was no one in this place ( I can see why). The employee made us feel rude for being there at 7:30pm when they do not close until 9pm. Anytime the employees did communicate with us they made it obvious they didn't want us there.Coming from someone who's been in the restaurant business for 7 plus years I understand everyone has a bad day but you suck it up and put a smile on and fake it until the end of your shift. Well I have to update my review unfortunately. I'm not sure if they have had major turn over in staff or just changes in management (or both?) but this place has seriously gone downhill as of late. I work a few blocks away so this was my "usual" place for a fast lunch or to pick up dinner but it's just not even worth it anymore. My most recent experience with "Jacob" was the last straw. After ordering two vegetarian subs (green peppers and cheese are the main ingredients) there were hardly any peppers at all on my sandwich (like literally three tiny pieces of green pepper from the bottom of the bowl) so I asked for more peppers only to be greeted with complete attitude. "We don't have anymore peppers". I said well I'm going to need more, there isn't any meat on these sandwiches, it's literally the main ingredient. Jacob cops a major attitude, grabs the bowl from the counter and tells me it will be 10 minutes for him to slice a green pepper. (Really? If it takes you 10 minutes to cut up a pepper you probably shouldn't work there anyway!) But I said ok..what choice did I have? He storms off as someone else finishes making the sandwiches. He comes back and tosses the green peppers on the counter and walks away. Customer service gold! The poor guy finishing up my sandwiches offers to make me new sandwiches once he realizes that Jacob had made one sandwich with two tops of the bread and one with two bottoms. I decline and just took what I had and left. Who treats customers this way for simply asking for what is supposed to be on their sandwich? He has serious ego/attitude issues for someone who clearly can't even make a sandwich properly. Very disappointing and I won't be back. read more

The first Jersey Mike's Sub I had was over a year ago. I was getting lunch on my way to work and they weren't open yet. Chappy (The Owner) saw me looking in the window and opened early for me, saying, "Can't let you go without trying a sandwich Mike's way." Jersey Mike's is my go to place when I'm hankering for a sub. The Italian is fantastic, especially if you add the red pepper relish and pickles. Going to this place feels like a treat every time. The crew there help make it an extra special experience,each and every time, by making sure to engage you in conversation which actually feels genuine.
