Ordered tacos for pickup and the execution was rough. The tortillas weren't wrapped properly, they were just loosely folded and then smashed together in the foil, so by the time I opened it up everything had fused into one mushy pile. There was no way to eat these like actual tacos, I basically had to fork it out like a bowl. On top of that, whoever bagged the order didn't seal things properly and food had leaked out into the bottom of the bag. Ended up with a grease and rice mess in my car that I had to clean up. The ingredients themselves tasted fine, chicken, black beans, corn, cheese were all decent quality like usual. But if you're going to hand out tacos, at least wrap them so they survive the trip home. Hoping this was just an off night and not the norm, but it's frustrating to pay for tacos and get a deconstructed pile of ingredients instead. read more

This place wasn't bad, the whole drive thru part of it is not what I expected. Drive thru is for mobile pickups only. The people here were very attentive, to make sure you're in and out. I don't remember what I got, a basic steak bowl with mild salsa. I requested chips and queso as well, and the queso cup you get is far too small to enjoy the chips. I finished the queso and had half a bag of chips still remaining. And the queso was gritty in a way, like maybe it wasn't mixed properly. Not how I remember it being a year ago. Every time I order the steak bowl it comes with maybe 12-14 pieces of small cubed steak, but I always get about 3-4 of those 12 pieces they are hard to chew gristle pieces. You end up chewing them and spitting them out because they are just nasty. I would like to just once order this steak bowl without the gristle pieces. Service was 5 star but maybe someone should be inspecting the steak they serve before plating it in a $12 plus change meal if they are only going to give you 9 pieces that are edible. This place should have improved since my last review. Hoping management does something about quality control this time. Service and ordering were great. Employees admitted to marking orders as completed as to avoid them being marked as late. They subsequently lost the initial order and caused a half hour delay from the initial time of ordering. They insinuated that they do this often. Waiting half an hour for a chipotle bowl is just silly. read more

Actually getting an order right would be a great start. I have this place multiple tries ( ordered on door dash) Tonight's my last time! I Frequent this location fairly (very) often and 9/10 they are spot on. Chipotle like all fast food has a certain level of expectation in terms of service/speed, etc but IMO this location is probably the most consistent. Portions are typically good, not sure about web order but in person they are good. Service is speedy, not much else you can ask for - it's Chipotle. Only thing about this location is the parking is tight but that isn't their fault. Also will likely improve as they literally under construction on 2 of the 4 sides of this location building other businesses. Once those are done should alleviate some parking. Anyways, saw all the negative reviews and was surprised so wanted to share mine. YMMV though. read more

I come to this chipotle just about every other day. They have plenty of employees, but usually only one person frantically trying to do orders while the line is 15 customers long. They're constantly always out of 2 or 3 things, they don't try to get you what you want, if your choice is empty you just have to wait 10 or more minutes till they eventually get to it they never try to get it to you in a timely manner. The guy who wears the black collard shirt, short brown/blonde hair (I believe a manager or team lead of sorts) is usually just watching his employees struggle while never stepping in to help) and they have a employee that looks like he's been sleeping behind the dumpster wearing a nasty backpack that's like covered in dirt walking around the kitchen clearly higher than a kite not wearing a uniform or anything with a giant green tattoo on his neck. Food is fine, they often undercook the rice so it's crunchy. I see the main manager there interviewing new employees constantly, they desperately need to find better employment.... Go to any other chipotle. read more

This is one of those locations that will half scoop you like chicken is a rare item. I wish I could tell the CEO of Chipotle to visit this location because it would confirm what many are complaining about. If you can count the number of little chicken pieces on one hand for an expensive bowl, there is a problem. If you want a normal serving of more than 4 pieces of tiny chicken pieces, you are charged double price. It's like they get extra money for serving half portions of food. Ridiculous. On the way home from work, stopped to get 2 chicken bowls, when we got home, the chicken was ice cold.. nothing worst than a long day and getting home to nasty ass food. Went back to get a refund of even a new bowl and the lady with purple hair, who seems to be the manager (should definitely not even be one), was disgusting the way she treated us, like if it was our fault that they gave us ice cold chicken.. I'm actually shocked to see such a low overall rating here. My fiancé & I used to live in Tempe and eventually stopped going to Chipotle because our bowls were so small & the meat was always burnt or undercooked or fatty. This location brought our love back to Chipotle. The workers are SO friendly (much better than the angry ASU students we use to deal with lol) and they give you SO much food every single time. Quality control is poor. Food taste and quality is awful compared with other Chipotle locations. The recipe is noticeably off at his new location. Large chunks of onion were overpowering and seem carelessly prepared. Onion chunks needed to be picked out just to taste the meal. The take out bag had wet rice stuck to the bottom and spilled in the car during the pick up. The overall operation seems poorly run. Was super excited to try this new DRIVE THROUGH location! WOW it sucked! The Drive through was not working! The staff inside full of new high school kids seemed very LOST! The food was running out and it was only 7pm they had NOTHING. 8 Months Later Update: A few months back I came to this location with a co-worker despite my warning to them. Fortunately, I was wrong and that this location has had quite the improvement. Since then, I have been back countless times. This location serves a product that the CEO of chipotle themselves would be proud of. This location is why Chipotle is loved by many across the globe. Good portions, great flavor, and a staff that constantly is hard at work. This Chipotle not only has made great strides but has opened my eyes and heart to second chances, in general.
