I'm usually such a huge fan of Chipotle, but unfortunately my experience here with my husband wasn't that great. My bowl was ABSOLUTELY packed, but my chicken was absolutely spiceless/bland. Echoing the other comments in the reviews, the food was not fresh, and it was pretty obvious. In addition to this, we ordered Large chips and guac, but we definitely weren't given a large-sized portion. Along with the food being underwhelming, the restaurant seemed a little dirty/not kept very well. Despite the food and the restaurant cleanliness, I gave this franchise an additional star because the service was awesome/the staff was really nice. 3.5 stars for this medium-sized Chipotle in a convenient location on Aquidneck Island! Not as much natural light as other Chipotles I've been to recently, but nice enough inside. The staff were competent and happy to fix an issue with our kids' quesadillas (they were served to us accidentally without melted cheese, barely steamed). Our order of guacamole wasn't very full, but I don't have any REAL complaints. Would return, glad it's there, because my son is in a Chipotle-mood these days. read more

If I could give a zero star rating I would. The one time I was craving chipotle and the order was just bad. I requested white rice, chicken, fajitas, corn, tomato, shredded cheese, queso on the side and the chipotle vinaigrette on the side. I open the bowl and it looks like I just got scraps but you can clearly see I got the bottom of the barrel food. The first time I did an online order just a horrible experience. Who ever is running this store needs to quit cause they clearly don't care about the service being put out. No one forces you to work in these fast food industries. Every time I order online here I am disappointed. I just picked up my order, I was early to pick it up, and it was still cold. It was the smallest burrito I have ever received from Chipotle and it was missing half of the ingredients I asked for. I also asked for extra of certain ingredients and was completely skimped or not given them at all. I asked for a Chipotle Honey Chicken Burrito with Pinto Beans, Tomatillo-Green Chili Salsa, Sour Cream (Extra), Cheese, Roasted Chili-Corn Salsa (Extra), Fresh Tomato Salsa (Extra), Romaine Lettuce (Extra), and Brown Rice. There was hardly any chicken in it, hardly any beans, it was mostly rice. There was hardly any sour cream, hardly any cheese, and only a couple pieces of lettuce. The roasted corn salsa was completely missing, the tomato salsa was completely missing, and I did not taste the chili salsa whatsoever. I can't make this up. I wan't my money back. read more

Spot the difference. One is an advertised burrito of what chipotle offers and the other is what the dookie brains at the Middletown Chipotle create when they get an order. Update: my eating machine boyfriend, ate it regardless. Not surprised. What I am surprised about is since he ate that dumpster fire of a burrito, he has been in the bathroom for over an hour having liquid diarrhea. The two times he left the bathroom in an effort to join family game night, he sharted. This is his first time meeting my parents. He is crying in the bathroom right now out of embarrassment, after crop dusting my mother in the living room. My parents are never gonna let this go, and he is extremely sensitive. Chipotle is literally ruining my relationship. Also, to date, this chipotle is rated 1.8 stars... how embarrassing. It's as if ordering by app doesn't translate well on the order printouts for the employees. This location, however, gets it right...every...time! I should have known this wasn't going to go well when upon arrival a woman who was pregnant and with a kid was coming back to the store to make a complaint about the food. This is by far the worst chipotle experience I have EVER had in my life. The chicken is bland, the rice is crunchy, the beans are stale and gross. I tried to artificially add flavor by using the vinaigrette but there was no saving this bowl. The chips that I got to go along with my queso were inedible, literally stale and chewy. I walked on a Saturday night, wasn't 8 PM yet, and all the workers are just standing staring right at me. I look around because i start to think they're closed but i seen their hours and clearly they're open. So i walk up to the front for them to take my order. Keep in mind i am the only customer inside. I am standing there, waiting for someone to come up and take my order. I watch as all the employees are just looking at each other and yet nobody is helping me. Not even exaggerating 5 mins later one of the males that was cleaning the counters finally comes up to me and starts taking my order as all the other employees continue to just stand around. Service here is extremely horrible. The food here has no flavor whatsoever. And to top it all off, there was ants crawling all over the utensils. I've been to this location several times because it unfortunately is the closest one around. However, this experience really drove me to write this review. I placed an order for pick-up for 7:00pm and the order was not available until 7:30pm. Several other angry individuals were waiting for their mobile orders as well, as the the staff was only prioritizing walk-ins. Upon asking whether my order was being made, I was notified the store was out of tortillas. How does chipotle run out of tortillas!? How else would they have notified me of this if I didn't ask about my order? This location is constantly short staffed and SO DIRTY. The quality of the ingredients (examples: brown guacamole and wilted cilantro) and how the food is prepared (example: pieces of meat are cut so large and roots of onion found in salsas) is not as good as I've seen at other locations. read more

After a 40 minute walk in the rain and a two hour workout I was truly blessed to be put inside of this chipotle. One might think all chipotle's are the same but unlike girls, it was different and amazing, I got a bowl with extra rice, cheese, beans combined with chicken, corn, and sour cream, I was taken aback by the amount of food that I had inside of my bowl. Around 75% of my group had the poos after the food but they couldn't handle the flavors that this chipotle had. 2 visits and 2 bad experiences. 1st visit only 2 workers. I waiting est 5-7 min to get service. The only guy working the counter seemed to be so stressed over nothing. I asked for extra cheese after he only put 1/3 of a portion of cheese cuz it ran out. I asked for extra and he rolled his eyes like it was a problem to replace the cheese now vs the next guy. I didn't dare ask for a lime or other extras i would because he clearly would have been bothered. 2nd visit i was there at 1055 today. Yet the doors were look and the workers just stared at me. The hours on the door and online clearly 1045. I'm a travel nurse from out of state and typically each Chipotle 3-4 times a week at a minimum as it's a fast healthy alternative to fast food. I'm here for 13 weeks so at a min i would have ordered prolly around 40 bowls, but i will not be going back here as i see ignorance is a common them at this location. DON'T TRUST THE CHIPOTLE APP! North Dartmouth MA Chipotle wouldn't accept my App order but, Middletown RI. did. I received a confirmation eMail stating my order would be ready for pickup at 5:10 pm. I DROVE 25 MILES to Middletown and when I arrived I found the door to Chipotle to be locked. A nice lady greeted me to say she was sorry but they closed at 5:00 and corporate Chipotle screwed-up and didn't turn off the online ordering. This is the SECOND time this has happened at Chipotle in the past month. I'm sorry you are short staffed but the fact CHIPOTLE can't communicate to their customers when or if their stores are open tells me you have a corporate management problem. I would never come back to this Chipotle... ever. The service wasn't great - not outright rude but not outright friendly, either. I wanted a carne asada burrito bowl with the tortilla on the side, but the carne asada was still on the grill - cool, I'll wait. The employee put my bowl on the side (with the lid on, thankfully) until the meat was done. The employee cutting up the meat took SO LONG that another employee who was on the line had to go back and take over. Finally after all of that (and after I had already paid), I went back up to the line, and the initial server stated that she would just start my bowl over so my rice and beans wouldn't be cold (great because I was going to ask her for a new one anyway because of how long it took). She made up my bowl, no problems. I didn't even realize that I didn't get my tortilla (that I paid for), but I was taking it to go, so I didn't realize until I got to my destination. On top of that, the food was cold basically straight off the line. I mean COLD. Furthermore, I got peppers and onions in my bowl, and the cuts on those vegetables were insane. I had almost an entire half of a green bell pepper, along with several other uneven, choppy, terrible cuts of peppers and onions. They were also basically raw (and also, therefore, you guessed it, COLD). The only solace was that my destination had a microwave so I could heat the food up, but YIKES. The restaurant itself also was not clean. There were sauce splashes on the ceiling above the service line, there were no spoons and almost no forks in the condiments area, tables were dirty. BEWARE, YOUR BOWELS WILL CLENCH! This chipotle has some of the best servings i've ever seen. They totally loaded us up unlike some other chipotles where the workers feel as if the food is coming out of their paycheck. The food tasted normal and service was fine. The tables were a bit dirty but nothing too bad. The real issue started when we all had to take a massive dump after eating. 80% of the members of our group got the poops after eating. BOWEL DESTRUCTION!!! Chipotle is one of my favorite restaurants, and I must say this location was very yummy yummy. They had a clean environment, excellent portions, and a kind staff. But after taking a few fork fulls of my bowl my body began to disagree. First it started with my mouth, I was taken back by the spice in my steak, but this was only the beginning. As it traveled down my esophagus into my stomach the food soon turned from just another bussin chipotle meal into the nuke that was dropped on Hiroshima. My stomach became to crumble and my bowels began to weep. As I ran to the bathroom I had to use pure willpower to keep my anal sphincters closed. To cut to the chase, I'm extremely sorry for the crime that was committed in that bathroom. To make matters worse there was no toilet paper, this was extremely tragic because this was just the start of the events that were about to transpire. As I walked out of the bathroom I watched as each one of my 7 friends also drop to the devil inside of their Chipotle. I watched while I threw away my half filled bowl as my friends bowels ran a train on that bathroom.
