I went into Chipotle today around 7:30pm. I only ever went here once a year ago & it was good. Well when I walked in today only a man was in front of me ordering two burritos. When it was my turn I had ordered 3 burritos with everything on it (all the same). The girl who helped me wasn't very fast nor was she a very good listener. I was watching her make the first two. She didn't put really any meat on them & folded them wrong where everything fell out when I got home. The last burrito was made by a young man who didn't know how to fold a burrito either. I was going to order 3 bowls but I have a speech impediment & it's not easy for me to pronounce words when I know I'm being rushed. The young girl I felt was on something because what should have took 5 minutes took a total of 10 minutes with a growing line in the back of me when no one was there other than a man in front of me. I have an addiction to Chipotle's chicken burrito. They are so tasty, satisfying, and good. I went there yesterday for lunch and questioned going again today. Instead, I decided not to. I don't want to walk in and have the employees say, "Hi, girl who comes in everyday! Will you be having the usual?" My "usual" starts with a 12-inch flour tortilla put in a steamer for a few seconds. If Williams Sonoma ever decides to carry those steamer things, I'm buying one. Once the tortilla is hot and ready for filling, a spoonful of cilantro-lime rice is neatly piled in the center of the tortilla. Next, a generous serving of pinto or black beans is piled neatly next to the rice. I usually go pinto, but sometimes if I'm feeling exceptionally healthy, I'll opt for black beans. Next goes on the chicken which hints a smoky, spicy chipotle flavor. By the way, these aren't just any chickens; Chipotle uses only naturally raised chickens. This means the chickens were never given antibiotics and were vegetarian fed. Another sidebar note, I've questioned becoming vegetarian because if I see a piece of meat in my food that has fat, bones or veins, I just can't finish it. Well, if it's in my burrito, I just pick out the nasty looking piece of chicken and move on without analyzing each piece of naturally grown chicken. Again, back to my burrito...there are four choices for salsa. I always choose the fresh tomato salsa because I love the fresh chopped tomatoes, onions, cilantro and jalapeños. If you aren't already salivating, the next two ingredients will make you run out and order this burrito. To compliment the savory rice, fantastic beans, tender, flavorful chicken and juicy salsa are sour cream and cheese! Lastly, all of this south of the border goodness is wrapped up in a shiny piece of foil and is ready to be devoured or consumed savagely, but not in the restaurant because that would be just downright rude. The Morgan Hill Chipotle location has fast and friendly service. One time they were out of chicken and I had to wait about 10 minutes. They gave me a card for a free burrito plus chips and guacamole for next time. read more

This Chipotle is one of the very worst in the chain. I will talk about my meal in a moment, but must comment first on how dirty the dining area is. All the tables are sticky with food remnants on chairs, tables and the floor. Clearly sanitation and cleanliness is not a priority at this Chipotle in Morgan Hill. Very very disgusting. Next was my one simple meal. I ordered a Burrito Bowl to eat in. It was Chicken. I asked for no rice and double beans instead. The portion of beans served in my bowl was so minimal, I questioned the server who just shrugged her shoulders. Next came the Chicken which again was very minimally served. I again questioned the server, whose reply was shrugged shoulders. At this point, and I'm not joking, the two main ingredients of my meal barely covered if at all the bottom surface of the puny cardboard "bowl". I was already feeling a but cheated. Next was the pico de chopped sauce, again, minimalist at best, and last a tiny sprinkling of cheese. At this point seeing there was almost no actual food in my burrito bowl, as it got to the cashier I asked if Chipotle recently changed the portions they serve. She said no they didn't and that it was up to the server. When I said I already asked the server why the portion was so small, she just shrugged her shoulders and moved on. Being already frustrated for the value I wasn't getting, and extremely hungry since I hadn't eaten, I paid for my meal, sat down, snapped a pic of what I considered sub standard, and took a bite. Well guess what? My beans and Chicken were cold to maybe look warm. That was the icing on the cake. Being served a substandard meal, even after complaining 4x then eating it cold. For the most part, it's just like any other Chipotle with a few exceptions. The outdoor seating is large compared to other Chipotles and they char the chicken just the way I like. Yes, it can very crowded at times and the employees don't exactly have a heavy hand when it comes to serving. Down to brass tax, the customer service is good and the flavor is always present.
