Anyways, my friend was going down the line and when it came to the guac, he wanted some on his bowl, so he asked "Can I get guac, but without cheese?" Because a lot of the guac was covered in shreds of cheese, which he is not able to eat, since he has a dairy allergy. And the manager still got a scoop of cheese filled guac and was about to put it in the bowl, until my friend was like "No, no cheese, please, I have a dairy allergy." The manager looked confused and didn't say a word before getting another scoop. We love Chipotle. It's one of our "go-to's" for a quick, fresh, tasty bite to eat. Our burrito bowls were a great portion size and everything was tasty. We got a bag of chips and there were a decent amount of chips (sometimes you will get very little in the chip bag). We usually eat only half our burrito bowls and take the other halves home for lunch the next day. (A great deal!) Unfortunately, we could not sit down to eat our meal. Not because it was too busy (every table but one was available), but because of how filthy the tables were. Every single table, even the long table along the window, was filthy. Somehow, every mistake on their part is the costumer's fault, which is extremely ridiculous. Awful service here, really tarnished the brand for me. Waited in a line of 13 people for 30 minutes before reaching the front and getting served. It was a little over an hour until closing time but it seemed like they had already closed. Meats were low, they were out of guac and the chips in front were not stocked so the cashier had to put a glove on and go back and scoop into a bag for every person that wanted chips. The first employee running the burrito shells was not motivated to work or was just high. There seemed to be no manager, as a woman had a complaint and a worker from the back was sent to talk to her. Plus the fact the staff was disorganized. They did not have very good priorities, such as filling the ice in the pop machine instead of scooping chips in bags to help the line move faster. How in the world can chipotle be CONSTANTLY out of items? I love their food and I used to eat there all the time. But it became the last option on my list of where to eat due to lack of ingredients to make a perfect salad or a burrito. I strongly recommend you call them before going there because 90% of a time they won't have what you're looking for. I did call coastal grand mall location and they said they had everything. Guess what, they lied. They were out of dressing. How can I order a salad with no dressing?! I called another location and they said they had everything and they really did. But when I asked for 1 extra cup of dressing they charged me. It would be a great customer service if they offered that one cup of dressing to me for free since I had to drive far. Instead, the cashier guy made a nasty comment when I told him other locations weren't charging me for extra. He said: "Well, they are missing out on the money". This review is written 20 minutes after an awful experience at this particular Chipotle. I cannot comment on others in the Myrtle Beach area. First impression: the restaurant is filthy. The bathrooms remind of post apocalyptic devastation where blood and feces were the means of destruction, or at least notable contributors. It's been ages since I've seen this much human excrement and blood in the same setting. I can't imagine what must have led to such carnage. The rest of the restaurant is just dirty, and the people behind the counter do not wear their latex gloves. Nasty. The service is exceptionally poor. I ordered a steak bowl with steak on the side. I do this all the time. The high-school dropout serving me refused stating that Chipotle does not allow meat to be served on the side - which is wrong. In fact, he explained, you're not allowed to order any meat on the side for any reason. Corporate reports this is also incorrect. So then I ask if he can just push the meat to one side of the bowl and do the ingredients on the other side. Again he refuses. I relent. "F"-it, I'm hungry. He then proceeds to give me only a half spoon full of each item. He states they're not allowed to give more than that. Infuriating. I've chosen to omit his anti-Caucasian racist behavior that followed as it adds little to the review. I sit down and eat my meal. Then I remember the bathroom and go to the front to tell them about it. The cashier reports that the bathrooms have just been cleaned. I go check. I'm met at the door with the same metallic smell of blood, and stench of diarrhea. Clearly they haven't been touched for days. I give one star because I must in order to write a review. Be very cautious eating here. I've had better experiences at dive bars in Tijuana. We're generally patient and understanding people because we too have worked in retail/food service so we know what it's like, but it's not that hard to just say, "Hey, be right with you guys!" The ingredients are supposedly high-quality, but when you have so few of them to choose from, you'd better be doing those few right. 3. Eh, the beef wasn't done right. So, we made the fateful decision to go again tonight and it is clearly the same SH$Tshow as in the past. The doors were locked at 630pm but I was eventually led in via the side door (also locked).
