I've been here a few times and I'm usually not overly impressed. However you look at it, it's still fast food They do better than most fast food places. I would much rather eat at Chipotle than Taco Bell. This location has a drive-through which makes it convenient. It was clean inside when I went to pick up my order. The staff is always friendly. I ordered a Guajillo steak bowl. The steak was very flavorful, just wish there was a little more steak included. The portion of food was a lot more than I was expecting overall. Sadly, it was cold when I picked it up. I usually have some small issue with my order when I go here. That is the reason I rarely come in. read more

I'm reviewing my experience at the New Milford location. Last night we went there for dinner. As we walked in I noticed several dirty napkins on the floor along with three chips on the floor. We went up to the counter and placed my order but was told only app orders could be filled. As I contemplated placing an order I looked at the food bins and they were filthy. There was food smeared all over the outside of the bins, particularly the guac and salsa. It was disgusting. I will never go to another Chipotle, the experience was disturbing. And I do have an issue with only being able to place an order through the app, that's ridiculous. read more

My wife and I have been customers of this Chipotle of New Milford for 4 years and tonight decided not to be customers of THIS establishment EVER again. Usually it's a pleasant experience but tonight I go in and order a "Carna Sada BOWL" which goes fine then ask for a "Carna Sada Quesadilla" and am told; "We can't do that unless you order it through the App!" After asking several times and asking"Why?" The manager comes over and with a frown say's; "I'll get that for you, just so you know if this staff doesn't stick to the rules, they will be fired!". We were so happy to try this Chipotle location. After a few poor experiences at the Montvale NJ Chipotle location our expectation was low. To our surprise the staff was happy and pleasant, the meals were tasty and fresh, and they pack the bowls high so you get your money's worth (unlike the half bowl portions in Montvale). I had an interesting experience with the app when I ordered my food. I changed the address to my NYC place of residence, but it was sent to the Brewster address instead. The problem was immediately fixed which was great. The food was great and was nicely packaged. The delivery driver that came to both locations was also really nice and didn't give any of my housemates any grief for the miscommunication. The delivery process was also on time which I loved. Overall I would come here again. I loved the speedy process that it took to resolve the issue as well. read more

Talk about an unclean place. The health department must be getting paid off. Food was tasty but the eating area was filthy. Table was a mess and there was garbage on the floor that an employee kept walking around while cleaning and never picked it up. Everything was ready exactly on time and an entire crew of staff was finishing up as I arrived so I was getting everything hot off the grill. Everybody was so kind and supportive and one of the boys carried my stuff out to the car for me and figured out the best way to load it. The manager asked me to let her know how everything was and even introduced me to her staff. The food was perfect. It was perfectly spiced and absolutely delicious. I have given this location a few tries but tonight's visit was the most atrocious. As someone who has worked at Chipotle before I have an idea of how things should be. The line is an absolute mess, lots of cross contamination of meats and cold toppings. Cut sizes are completely OFF- cilantro & onion the worst, they're huge in the rice & guac. It's like your biting into a bowl of cilantro with some rice instead of the other way around. And multiple times that I have asked for plain white rice- to not get a mouthful of cilantro, I've been told there isn't any. Chipotle always has trays of plain white rice prepared in the hot box for the next shift/morning to have for opening- so it would be hard to believe that this location would not have them prepared on more than one occasion. My husband loves chipotle so I really try to keep an open mind- but today in my bowl there was 3 pieces of cut up glove, which I will be posting a picture of. Who wants to pay almost 12$ for gloves in their food. And when i asked to speak the manager (in a discreet way to not cause a scene with a HUGE line of customers), the worker said he would let her know, and I just asked that he ask her to come to where I was so I can nicely speak about the issue. I am super empathetic to this situation having worked at a Chipotle before, but after waiting for 15 mins for the manager to speak to me and look my way but not come to speak to me, I am DISGUSTED with this location & management at this location. I should've told everyone about them serving glove with their steak. I was excited to have a chipotle in CT that compares to my home location in NY- I was sadly mistaking. 12/4/21 is the date I'd this review. They said they close at 10! And I got there just after 9:40 and the restaurant was already locked up and cleaning up. I called the restaurant and asked what was going on and had a worker who didn't even want to answer a single question as to why they were closed so early, and there were 3 other people in the parking lot. He finally gave me to the manager who I couldn't even understand a word from. Absolutely terrible service and customer relation. Chicken quesadilla was nothing like in picture, everything was in sections, had to assemble, contacted complaint line 2 times in a week, leaving my phone number And email, never received my refund, never received a callback, or a courtesy email. No organization, people standing around not knowing what to do, Total disorganization and chaos. Horrible experience, deleted the app, will never go there again.
