It is really sad to see the employees giving chipotle a bad name. I absolutely love chipotle this is my go to a least one a week . I will never be visiting this location again. Nothing was stocked you couldn't even get the basics fork & napkins. When ordering all trays were at the bare minimum and they were just scrapping the trays to make my bowl. read more

Had a disrespectful lady ask me what she could get me and when I told her a bowl with white rice, she straight up took her gloves off, walked out the front door, climbed into a car an left without saying a word. Employees made me wait further because they were socializing with an ex-employee who was talking about her pregnancy. Had to ask 3 times for forks and napkins because there were none in the lobby as usual. The chips were STALE. This Chipotle location is very consistent with having rude employees, long wait times, and a messy lobby. This location SUCKS. Either make your employees go through better training or hire a new staff. I would be livid if I owned this location. read more

2025 Update: So I have since been back to this Chipotle quite a few times since my original review, and I will say it is a bit better. The cleanliness of the place is still bad and I will probably never eat there for that reason, however, the food has been consistently better. Service is average, not great but not bad either. Just OK. I usually order ahead, but the times that I have ordered there have been fine. I would avoid ordering ahead during lunch hours on the weekends and just order in store - much faster. read more

No complaints about the food, it's a good as to be expected. However, the restaurant is always filthy. This past Saturday was actually ate inside. I watched as one server played on his phone while wearing his plastic gloves, another wipe her nose with her glove, and another handle money while wearing his. None of those servers changed their gloves to make food for the new customers that entered. Gross. Seems like this restaurant lacks safe food handling training. read more

This was sadly one of the dirtiest Chipotles we've been to in the entire country. Portions were decent, but my teen son found chicken, and a hair, in his vegetarian bowl, I had dried out sofrito that was scraped, no I mean scraped, from the bottom of the metal holding dish, as well as brown guacamole. We had a number of chewy chips, and then when they went to bag our meal, they dropped the 2 bags on the floor and said "sorry, these are the last bags we have" and used them anyway. They were friendly, but... Lastly- whoever designed the parking lot should be dragged into the public square and flogged- that thing is a travesty! read more

As a person who has worked in the food service industry, this Chipotle seems to have no understanding of food safety practices. On two separate occasions I've seen employees eat food straight off the bar in front of customers, use their phone, touching their face/hair/etc. all without washing their hands or changing gloves before handling food. On my most recently visit they were also playing incredibly vulgar music on a speaker in the back of house, and started closing tasks (mopping and placing chairs on top of the table) at 7pm. The store closes at 10. The quality of the food is also lacking. The meat is dry, the lettuce is wilted, and the restaurant is consistently out of main ingredients at peak customer hours. For example, they were out of white rice at 7pm on a Tuesday. I live close by, and would not be writing this negative of a review if my observations weren't consistent each time I visit. Everyone has a bad shift, but this location needs a complete overhaul in management and staff. At this point, the next time I have a craving for Chipotle I will be driving 40 minutes to avoid the Norwich location 8 minutes down the road from me. read more

Anyone who orders online accepts mistakes may be made. Chipotle has a particular habit of this, which isn't a big deal in and of itself. Their blatant unwillingness to correct mistakes is unacceptable. Normally we wouldn't even bother asking for corrections. Food was just average Most disturbing was that the place had only 6 other people eating at the time and every single table was dirty Asked them to address it so I could sit down and eat at a clean table He said " oh - you want me to clean a table for you ? Thursday 7.5.23 I enter chipotle at 8:30 pm. I was told there is no rice and they will not be making any for the rest of the night, although they are open for another hour and a half of business. I'm not sure why I continue to come to this chipotle for failed I don't care service attitude over and over again I'm not sure if the management is aware of these reviews or if they even care. Ok, folks. I don't want to be that person, but here it goes. I ordered a burrito bowl with the following ingredients: Carnitas, fajitas, lettuce, red salsa, and cheese. I got slop instead. I initially thought they forgot the guacamole but nope, silly me, it was right in the corner next to the wilted lettuce leaf (singular). Please refer to the photos for a visual. What made this experience even worse (not the taste of the food- as I didn't even bother eating it) was the response I got from the manager. She was not exactly rude but was unapologetic and apathetic in her response. Not once did she ask me what was wrong with my meal or show any concern, which brings me to believe that complaints of this sort are plenty. I asked for a refund but will see if it shows in the next 1-2 business days. FYI: This was the third "bad" experience at this location. I thought maybe the first two were a fluke since it is a new location. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But, not today, Chipotle, not today! Chipotle- you are the one! I've been to this restaurant three times, and on all three occasions, they were understaffed, and either out of chicken, rice, or another important ingredient for me to enjoy a meal. The last time I went, the dining room was closed, due to being "understaffed" so I went through drive-through and no joke waited over 45 minutes in line to get the wrong order. The staff that was available was incredibly rude and almost irritated with me for visiting the restaurant they are employed by. Very bizarre place not to mention it could be cleaner. read more

I love chipotle, but I often do everything I can to avoid this one. They are always out of something at both the inside order line and the drive-thru line due to a lack of planning and preparation as they don't anticipate running out of something until it's already gone ie. fajita veggies, queso, chips, etc. Additionally, there is very poor quality control for quantities and portion sizes. I bought a large queso and chips for me and my wife to split and got home to realize the queso wasn't even halfway filled, and 1 of her tacos had only four chunks of steak in it (the picture shows this). This isn't the first time this has happened either, I've previously had to get refunded on a burrito that I ordered online where everything was half portioned on it except the rice was packed in. I STRONGLY recommend this branch starts taking the feedback of everyone else on here seriously. 1 1/2 stars might be the lowest I've seen in a long time especially for a major company. read more

I just had the worst Chipotle experience I've ever had. At normal dinner time I ordered a steak burrito and a steak bowl...standard fare, right? They had next to nothing on the line for ingredients and there was never an offer to get more. They literally added about 5 black beans on top of about a quarter scoop of rice like that was normal! The dried, burned steak was scraped from the bottom of the bucket and was about half what you'd get at any other location. No fajita vegetables period. If I wanted a salsa and cheese burrito, I could had made that myself. They had no issue charging more than $20 for this pathetic meal. No apologies were offered for the situation but they did offer to add queso...for the normal up charge of course! Don't waste your money here. read more

This location was very disappointing. I get there and I asked if they had barbacoa since the bin was empty, the employee looks at me & says "You want it right now?" When else would I want it? I could tell he didn't want to make any more because he went to the back to pretend to clean. I got the carne asada instead, which was cold and chewy. The chips were old and stale. Spent 12 dollars on my usual chipotle meal I get everytime I come just to throw it in the garbage it was genuinely a waste of food due to the way it was prepared.. I was happy to see my bowl was loaded with extra chicken without me asking, but the gentleman but at least a whole carton of sour cream all over my bowl my eyes went bug eyed I couldn't even believe it. I went to go eat it and all the food in my bowl was so soggy and milky due to the overload of sour cream, I felt bad saying something until my friend was overcharged on her chicken and cheese burrito payed 10 dollars for it when its usually 6.50 or less... so here i am at yelp im not one to complain but hopefully someone takes notice. read more

Whether its altering their hours unexpectedly, long wait times due to food not being ready to serve or most recently today: unreasonably small portion sizes. I have NEVER been treated so poorly by customer service workers EVER. Constant eye rolls, back talk, and purposeful laziness. When the food is actually made with effort, it's pretty good. That usually happens once in a blue moon because every time you go there your order is ALWAYS wrong. Aside from that, there are some very nice staff who are hardworking and kind.
