So I was at the Scottsdale location last week. I asked for a steak quesadilla with fajita veggies. Sure no problem. Asked for a side of the vinaigrette. Sure no problem. Go to this chipotle and they refused the dressing. Saying I needed to buy a salad to get that on the side. Um ok. Then proceeded to say they couldn't do steak & veggies as their machine can't handle it. I said weird the one in Scottsdale last week did. She refused. She didn't look happy to be working. She was rude. Sad chipotle lost me as a customer. I live closer to this one than the Scottsdale location. You need to figure out a way to please your customers. I would have paid extra. I know it's hard to find help right now but man this chick is not it for your store. Yes this is a trend on TikTok. I get the overwhelming requests for the vinaigrette but to limit it to salads is ridiculous. Like I said I would pay extra for it. I found the recipe online and I'll be making it at home from now on. Chipotle lost out on my money. Yeah and with other reviews the wait time is super slow, I was in line 20 minutes. One lady on the line, she's the one who was bitter and rude and looked like she hated her job. One at register and 2 guys BS'ing it in the back. One cooking and the other drinking right by the food. I think it was an energy drink. Oh and the cashier girl had gloves on and touching everything till she saw me looking at her. Took the gloves off. Trash was full and with her bare hands pushed it down and then continued to touch people's order. That was a red flag for me and should have walked out then. read more

I've been here many times before and haven't been here in a while. I probably won't be coming back. Let's start from the beginning: cleanliness of restaurant was substandard, kitchen service line was dirty, they were out of ingredients, and the cashier handed me cups while touching the inside of the cups. I don't know if corporate Chipotle reads these reviews but something is up with the management and employees at this location when compared to a 6-9 mo. ADDITIONAL INFO (Order Online and Pickup During COVID-19) I ordered online for my family and received our food in a timely manner. Restaurant was clean and observing social distancing. We picked up our food and went home. When we opened our items, the amount of ingredients in the burritos and salad was underwhelming. after coming in tonight, it's not hard to see why the reviews are so bad lol. first off all, they were rather rude which is crazy in general giving that you work in the service industry? i manage at a fine dining restaurant in the valley, i understand getting ahead on closing duties but they were out of quite a lot (steak, brisket, red salsa etc.) they had MAYBE a half portion of steak left but still charged me the full which is wild lmao. i was one of the last in line and we were all waiting for the manager to come out to cash out the first guest in line for at least 10 minutes. to be out of many different items and have several people in line waiting for an extended amount of time and then to be rude on top of all that?? also, not following health code (no changing of gloves, no washing hands, touching their face/hair and then touching food, throwing food from the prep area back on the line, cross contamination) at all is just WILLDDD. either way, i literally couldn't recommend this chipotle less. read more

This last time I went there I found PLASTIC in my food! It had a super sharp corner that drug across the inside of my mouth and gum! This is by far the worst chipotle I've been to! The customer service is terrible, and the food is not as good. I always try and get food from the online order and there's always a problem. The food is rather disgusting or my food isn't even made on time. The service after 8:30pm is confusing. 100% facts: -They're tripping over themselves to clean and get the place turned down to close so they can leave. I've worked food service and it's common. But holy heck, that's all you see. They're losing their minds cleaning, stocking and prepping. -1 out of 3 times they've run out of proteins or fajitas, people in line are left waiting 5-10min at the window. The taller guy is usually wearing a very apathetic face whenever I dine. Lastly. -Clean the damned patio. Never ever ever wiped down or swept. Placed an online order for pick up. One of the bowls was not even what we ordered and it looked like dog food. I called the location and spoke with Alex. He apologized for the mix up and said I would be added to a list so I can get my replacement meal the next time I was there. Two days later I go back. There were only two people in front of me and it took 18 minutes to place my order to check out time. The food looked dry and the shelf where they make the ordered was dirty. One employee was working on to go orders while one very slow employee worked on the in pertain orders. When I saw that this employee was putting dried up chicken into a bowl and scrapping the bottom of the tin I told her twice "that looks so dry and grows no one wants to eat that". She continued to ignore me. The cashier was ignoring me and was more worried about clocking out so someone else can take over. What a hot mess.... Frequent customer at this chipotle! It is nice and close to my house. It is located near the happy valley round about which can get super busy when everyone is getting off work so we like to go early or a little later to avoid the rush. It's also busy so the line gets lunch especially at lunch time but is typically pretty fast. Good food and great customer service. The manager Thomas is awesome and so friendly. He recognizes my fiancé and I as frequent customers and always greets us and asks us about our day. I switch off from a burrito and bowl. With my burrito I ask them to mix it up and it's so delicious! I also get half chicken half steak so I get the best of both worlds for 1 price. Love having a healthy quick option to go eat lunch or dinner. Would definitely recommend this to others (: Oh and 1 thing I don't like.... it's always super cold in here. My husband received food poisoning Sunday March 31,2019 from this location. About 12 hours after eating here he developed nausea, vomiting, watery stool and a slight fever. Needless to say we won't be back. Reported it online and Chipotle had 84 cases in the last 7 days. I don't like giving negative reviews, but this could be life threatening for someone that has other health issues. read more

I use the app to order really often from the chipotle by my work. It's always ready on time. This is my first mobile order from this location and it's 20 minutes past and still not out. They have a bunch of people on the line helping the one or two regular people in line. There's 8-10 online order people standing around waiting. Chipotle, you're either a fan or not a fan... Like them or not they have a unique taste and style about how they serve fresh and quality ingredients. The staff in this particular location is super friendly, but not overly so. Like when I show up two days in a row, they don't even look at you funny. They are very accommodating and their smiles are genuine. You can get as creative as you want when ordering; your imagination and tummy size are your only limits. If you ask for "a little" they give you a little, if you ask for "a little more" they oblige you there too. The menu is simple. You can order tortilla chips, a burrito (your choice of meat, beans, salsas, opt for lettuce, sour cream, shredded cheese and, for an extra fee, guacamole,) a fajita burrito (which substitutes the beans for grilled sliced peppers and onions) a burrito or fajita burrito 'bol' (which are the same ingredients sans tortilla, in an Atkins (low carb)-friendly cardboard dish,) or tacos. All besides the chips, your food is made fresh as it moves down a line of people putting this in, slapping that on, or wrapping it all up.) If you get there right when they open the chips are so fresh that the bags are still warm. They offer ice tea, fountain drinks and a small selection of bottled beers like Corona and Dos Equis. The carnitas burrito bowl with grilled veggies, little rice, no beans, extra cilantro, both mild and hot sauce, cheese, sour cream and more cilantro on top is my fav. The children who work at this location don't care about quality of service. The first girl was going so fast and there wasn't anyone even in line. She's going so quick that she passed my bowl off before I could ask her to add fajitas, then when I finally Got her attention that I wasn't finished she's moving so quick she spills half of my bowl into the fajitas cross contaminating everything. They forgot to give me my salad dressing. A bunch of children working with no manager or leader. My guess is the manager is also 19 years old. Pathetic. First time at this Chipotle but many visits to other franchises. I arrived at 11:30 and there were six full small tables and 20 in line. Not a good mix. The line move very slowly (17 minutes in line). While waiting in line, I saw one server drop her glove on the floor. She put it on anyway, so I asked her to change it. By the time I was thru the line, it was 45 peeps deep. I ordered the Barbacoa Burrito and a soft drink for $9.75. The food was up to the Chipotle standard that I have come to expect. The service was pretty bad tho. Oddly, all the guys were very pleasant and the girls weren't. Backwards from common society. To top it off they were serving black guacamole from how old it was. I brought it to there attention and they claim it's normal. if theres one thing I know is guacamole should not be that color. first they over charge for the guacamole and on top of that they want to give you the days before batch. The line wasn't very long but the 3 line employees never bothered to get a rag to clean the counter or any of the filthy tables in the restaurant. I go here every week. Two weeks ago I had welted lettuce for my lettuce bowl. Manager at the time didn't really care. Then I came in the next week and an older lady with white hair and glasses looked like she hated her life! While I was ordering she is yawning over my food with her gloves. Then I was asking for stuff and she was trying to put the lid on my bowl before I was done ordering (ex- guac, cheese , and sour cream) each time the lid went on it before I was done. The brisket was so dry that I wasn't sure it was meat and the guacamole was carbonated, a sign it has been kept past it's prime. My wife had chicken tacos and the chicken was fatty and chewy. Would give no stars if possible. I don't expect too much from chain restaurants but this location needs addressing. Tonight while next in line, I saw the worker with gloves on wipe three different surface counters to clear off crumbs and fallen food. Then stick his hand in the trash can they have to throw it away. He didn't even think to change his gloves then proceeded to make the tacos for the customer in front of me. Mind you- dirty gloves that touched multiple surfaces- he then "cupped" the rice into the guys tacos with the same dirty gloves. If this doesn't scream cross contamination or another reason people get sick then I don't know what does. I just left after waiting in line because clearly they don't care about food service hygiene. Also, I have been here three time and everytime they tell me they are out of guacamole, corn salsa, or some other "staple". Seems ridiculous and something they should say before you wait in line.
