I don't know if Covid has done a number on the operation of this particular location or if there is something else at fault, but any visit to or delivery order from this branch recently has resulted in incredibly long wait times and missing ingredients. The past 3-4 times that I have ordered a salad, I've gotten no dressing, snd today, I had no guacamole either. I have been to all the local Chipotle in the area. Foundry Row, Quarry Lake, Reisterstown Maryland, but Pikesville chipotle gets five stars from me. For the quality of my meal, and great great customer service. Without going into detail I was horrified as a senior citizen, at Quarry lake location why the staff told me the only way I could get my food was by getting the app and ordering while I was standing Face-to-face with these people. Being over 69 years old I'm not very computer savvy and I told them that ,they did not offer any assistance or help, so Quarry Lake chipotle is at the bottom of the barrel. I have always been able to get my food from the Pikesville chipotle, and as I said before not only did I get great customer service the food was flavorful from beginning to end. read more

This Chipotle needs some work, I went in two days ago to stand in line for about 20-30 minutes just for steak to be ready. The guy in front of me was already waiting 40 minutes for the same thing. It looked like it was full staff but nobody seemed to be hustling to get the line moving. Theres a trader joes near by, I could have bought a rib eye steak for the same price and ate it at home. My roomate today went to the same location, he had been gone for almost an hour even though the restaurant is down the street. Theres no way it takes that long to cook a steak, sure it takes longer to cut it but not 40-45 minutes to be ready. read more

This is what fast food was meant to be .... awesome ingredients... the way you want it ... assembly line style so you can see everything first hand on what's going into your burrito or salad or taco ... I got the veggie burrito with black beans, brown rice and all the fixins' ! It was a massive burrito and delicious. I like how it's super simple and their menus are right up there easy to read. I like how they put information on the menu, such as if items have been cooked with meat or whatnot ... (like the beans.. get the black beans if you are veggie/vegan). The line can be long, but it generally goes pretty quickly. This location is very cool, one of the few fast food places that I wouldn't mind sitting down and eating at. Nice music too. It physically pains me to give a Chipotle less than 5 stars. I am what can only be referred to as a Sultan of Salsa, Prince of Peppers (and onions), a burrito connoisseur if you will. I shake my head at those indecisive in line, the point-and-shouters, and that one white guy who always tries to order in Spanish. Although nothing is wrong with the freshness of ingredients at this Chipotle, the long lines are a direct result of assembly inefficiency. I graduated from UMD, home to the 2nd highest grossing Chipotle in the country. Lines would be out the door daily, but it would take no more than 7-9 minutes at the most to get to the front. Here, however, the line is slow, can't communicate, and runs short of inventory as the logistics with the kitchen are not in sync. I give the manager credit for being hands on when he can, but Chipotles across the country have figured out how to expedite lines and we need that focus here. Though this Chipotle is relatively new, amateur hour ends after your rookie year. We can get better, faster, and stronger. Faster lines = more customers = more money. read more

I come here frequently as I love Chipotle. However, today I noticed some scary sanitation issues. 1) the girl who starts the burrito/bowl/salad process wiped her nose and eye with her gloves on and then proceeded to make food using the cross-contaminated gloves. 2) the girl working at the end of the line used her gloved hand to write on the container, open the refrigerator, and handle other non-food items then used that same gloves hand to handle lettuce and cheese toppings etc... Using no utensil. That would have been fine had she not touched so many communal non-food items. 3) lemons were absolutely disgusting I'm going to be a lot more vigilant when going here in the future. It's a chain so it's not but so many stars. I don't understand why you enter an order online which is to be ready at one time to avoid the wait but you wait because the order isn't ready. It's not the first time with this location. I place Corporate orders and it's not ready. This time the excuse was the person at the end of the line was new. However everyone is always new. Maybe it's the youth here. I've gone to locations in Columbia and even NYC with lines out the door that move faster than this location with a line of 6. I began eating here a few years ago at the recommendation of a former coworker. She suggested the burrito bowl with the salad dressing and that was all she wrote. Just like most foods I really enjoy, I was eating burrito bowls a few times per week. I liked it so much, I even turned my family on to the burrito bowls. After awhile I stopped enjoying it and never returned. Well I returned a few weeks ago with a taste for the vegetarian bowl. Once again, I was hooked. The flavors made my taste buds dance all over again. My only problem now as it was back then is how they ration the rice. A light layer of rice for a vegetarian bowl is not enough. When the bowl is empty, I need to have a full stomach. I should not have to repeatedly ask for more rice. I find it absurd that I have to ask for additional rice, but receive a huge, disgusting glob of sour cream and cheese when those are the things I want least. Please stop skimping on the rice and trying to forget that the guacamole comes with the vegetarian bowl. Thanks in advance. read more

This location needs to close until the staff can adhere to health and safety guidelines. I had not been to Chipotle in a while but decided to give it a try today 5/8/2021. An employee was chopping/preparing chicken with his mask down off his face. Myself and another customer with the same concern spoke to the manager but there was no urgency put forth to correct the situation. The restaurant itself was not clean. The front door was especially dirty. I know that Covid is challenging but if you are not prepared to serve customers you should not be open. Relaxed health guidelines can end up making people sick. I would give this place zero stars if I could. Do not use the app after dinner time. You will likely not get your food and you will not get refunded in store--instead you will have to contact chipotle support. Tonight I went in and a woman had been waiting for an hour for food and I was told my order wasn't ready and eventually they just didn't have it. How hard would it have been to just make the order since I already paid? There were only 3 customers in store at the time (and it seems like they are prioritizing door dashers/ubereats). I got food poisoning from this place. Never going again. It's been three days and I've been constantly throwing up and pooping out water.

So your food's good once you get it... but this Chipotle is the least efficient I've ever been to. There are frequently long lines, but that's been fine a other locations, in my experience. The problem here is that the lines don't move. If it's backed up to the door, expect to wait 30 minutes - it'd probably be 10 at any other Chipotle I've been to. Argh. Hey, at least it gave me time to type this on my stupid android touch screen - I think this is the first time I haven't waited to get to my laptop. Also, I got to say "good luck" in a long suffering tone to the lady last in the even longer line, and she got to say "Thanks." even more gloomily. My first time leaving a review anywhere. My first time tipping at a Chipotle, yet this team on 4/17/21 deserves it. They were extremely busy around 4:45 on this Saturday (what pandemic?) and the line would stay long consistently, but they were running like a well oiled machine. I have past experience in the restaurant industry and I know things can go very poorly, very quickly during peak times. On top of that, everything was seasoned properly and cooked like it's supposed to. They were well prepped and ready. Great customer service as well. In all my years of being a patron of this chain in multiple locations, I think this was the best experience. This location is usually pretty solid, but these guys deserve extra recognition and I hope it reaches them! read more

This Chipotle needs to have a visit from corporate...it's always dirty, the tables are filthy, the floor is a mess...the employees working the line are playing, which personally I don't appreciated around my food while being served...the condiments area is either empty or messy, makes you not want a fork...I asked the cashier for a lime wedge, she told me they didn't have any CUT! You would think with Chipotle's recent negative issue they would be sure to have all their locations on point. They most definitely need another location in farther out in Owings Mill. This branch does better with in person orders than it does with online orders. Typically I find something either missing or barely added to my meal, even with side requests such as add extra ___. Today I waited in line and only knew they were out of lettuce because a worker said it to another coworker. Terrible. As much as I like chipotle I have to admit that the quality of their food is going down. This location sucks. This is my third time here and each and EVERY TIME was disgusting. I like to give benefit of the doubt so I assumed maybe they had an off day. But 3 times and the food was terrible each time. Steak is always dry with lack of seasoning. The corn tasted funny like it had been sitting for a longgg time. And the guac was completely off. I could not even Finish the bowl I had to throw it away. I would not recommend this location. I eat at Chipotle's from the east coast to the west, this one was disappointing. As soon as I touched the front door, I noticed the glass door was filthy. Staff wasn't very friendly, either the music was too loud or they just can't hear very well (no disrespect), I felt like I had to shout for them to hear me and get my order right. I almost did 3 stars. I love Chipotle but this location sucks. You've prob read about the ridiculous long lines which is true. I usually have to wait 20-30 mins to get through. What makes me even angrier is the quantity of the food that the people there serve. I always get a fajita bowl w/guac. It's $9.25 and I barely get food at times. So even if you ask for more they usually charge you for it. It is so not worth close to $10. Chipotle is a bit of a healthier option compared to what's around the area besides Panera which is why I come here often. I used to be able to split the bowl into 2 lunches which made it a great bargain but now I'm just angry. The worker's are slow and stingy. read more

Went to this location about 1 month ago. The place was packed but we only stood in line for about 5 minutes. The line moved quickly. They did no skimp on the items and were friendly and sociable. Any other Chipotle that I've been to has kept the salad dressing in the fridge, but at this location, it seems like they keep the dressing UNREFRIGERATED and out in the open under the counter (yikes...). First time visit. I look for a few things. Obviously the atmosphere. The cleanliness and the amount of their "scoops". The employees were friendly. The place was very clean also very busy but the line moved along quickly. I have gone to the Chipotle in the foundry row plaza and ordered a bowl and few times and the way the bowl looks is just sad and half empty. They skimp on the scoops and charge 10$ (with a drink included). NOT HERE they served me a heaping scoop of each item I asked for. I loved it. The food was warm and fresh.
