Okay, so I LOVE Chipotle, but I do not love this Chipotle. It might sound crazy, but I feel like the newer locations take longer to get into the Chipotle groove. This was especially evident to me back when I used to always order a burrito. The new employees would not know how to properly wrap the burrito and/or place the ingredients. The burrito would be sloppy and not that good in comparison to the ones at the older locations which were always on point. This is the issue I have at this Chipotle. My burrito bowls are never that good, and I always feel like I've missed out on the total Chipotle experience. They are sloppily made, and there's never the right balance of ingredients. I prefer to get my Chipotle on at the St. Paul Street location where my burrito bowls make me disgustingly full and happy - not moderately full and kind of sad. read more

There wasn't a line, and the place was very clean. I order three hard veggie tacos. A Chipotle is just a Chipotle, right? Wrong! The workers made the experience a little better than the average Chipotle. The ladies took the time and fix every item with precision. One young lady put my guacamole on perfectly. This may not be a big deal to you, but I can't tell you how many times I've had sloppy tacos. Although it was later in the evening, the ingredients were very fresh. I was their first customer this morning, they have a sign on the window which says open 11:00am, employees were inside and were eating their food but everyone of them ignored us after 11am and after knocking the door hard they finally opened the door at 11:04am without any apology, after i picked what i want i had to wait like 3 min till cashier come in front to ring me up! Today I waited in line about forty minutes. I observed employees who were off work drinking and eating on the front line also talking to the employees while they were serving the customers. This went on about ten minutes. Customers were upset and complaining. This was totally unprofessional. The manager was no were to be found until a lady behind me called to request the manager and make her aware of what was going on. Clearly the customer does not come first here. I love Chipotle. Everywhere, but here. The flavor was still good, which is a plus. Other than that: -The grill cook was banging so loudly we couldn't hear what the people were asking us -The line staff weren't pleasant -The portions were skimpy at this location -The tacos were absolutely mushy :( -The tables, chairs, and floor were filthy -The manager was rude and unhelpful Factors that aren't able to be helped include the difficult parking lot and small eating area. I am a lover of Mexican food and was overly excited when I found out that a Chipotle opened in my area. I have been going to Chipotle for a few years, and have probably visited at least 10 locations. I know, I know (#Greedy) This rating is simply for this Chipotle. I went on a Friday night, I must say the layout of the location is nice. I waited in line, and I asked for extra rice, for which my request was met, but not before half of it had been scraped from the bottom of the previous container. My food was made as I asked, lettuce, cheese, etc. My burrito bowl finally made it down the assembly line, and the lady at the register accidently put it in the previous customer's bag. Being the greedy person that I am, I watched every little step my bowl made down that countertop so I told her to kindly remove MY bowl from the lady's bag. I went home to enjoy my meal to find that the rice was extremely salty, never was I a salt lover but it definitely ruined my experience. They are a new establishment, so I'll wait a few months and hope once they've been there for a while, they'll get the hang of it. Signed, #Greedy read more

Gotta love Chipotle!!! Fresh, organic ingredients, made fast and to order. Love the bowls and usually get that now instead of the burritos because the burritos are just wayyy too big and cumbersome to eat. After all you can always get the wrap on the side to eat with the bowl. Chips are salted well and taste great with the guacamole or the hot salsa (which is very spicy and tasty). read more

I guess customers at this location can't expect the staff to be professional nor expect the manager to not dismiss their concerns. I stopped at this location to grab a quick lunch. I am hoping that Chipotle has figured out safe food handing enough so that I don't get food poisoning from my lunch....a concern that has kept me from your stores for a long time... Anyway, when I ordered my burrito, the staff member taking my order was snapping at me impatiently....sorry there are other places to get lunch, like at Bagby pizza right next dorr where they understand customer service... Very slow customer service. Stood in line for a very little long time before getting served.

This place is horrible. Staff is rude, refused to wait on me. Heavyset dark skinned African (Not African American) female claimed she was a manager refused to give me her name so I could complain. The cashier also refused to give me her name thats why I described her. She was muttering under her breath, refused to look at me, I could not understand her accent. She had the nerve to wave her hands for me to move, as if she was dismissing me. WTF-Back in the day I would have snatched her up by that dirty (matted) hair weave, and dragged her-but I'm not that person anymore. Had to contact corporate to report staff. I'm not sure how they are still open. The staff at the Owings mills location are friendly and give excellent service and the staff at the Timonium location give good customer service as well. Will never go back. I can spend my money anywhere...where people are courteous and respectful. I would give it a minus 5 if I could. Pray to 5lb 8 oz baby Jesus before you go in there, or you may end up at central booking...I'm just saying.... read more

The food is the same as at other stores.No surprises. Consistent. I think that is the reason for chains. The service is something else. The staff seems like they much rather be doing something else, which I understand but still. Plus at busy times they really need to have someone go around and just wipe the tables after people finish. read more

Waiting time seemed pretty average to me. The staff was friendly enough. Only downside to this location is that parking can sometimes be hard to find, and so can seating inside the restaurant. Otherwise, great. read more

What can I say...its chipotle. You either are one of those people who absolutely love it or hate it. I used to be the one who loved it, but I have scaled back recently. I would always get their pork which I understand why they can not have it anymore and applaud them for sticking to their moral standards. This location always has a super long line which I guess is normal for a chipotle. My only one bad experience I had with this place is that I am pretty sure (like 95%) that I got food poisoning from this place from uncooked chicken. I noticed the food tastes extra salty and then noticed that my chicken wasn't even fully cooked. Unfortunately I was already out of the restaurant and couldn't take it back. And like clock work that night...but I have been back since and haven't had any other problems. read more

Overall I would say Chipotle food is kind of bland... who ever thinks this is real Mexican food ... well as yet to try real Mexican food. Service is good as any other modern fast food place. But my girlfriend loves it so what can I do? I have been here more the 20 times, and I have been to chipotles in other places I lived and worked.....Tyson's Corner, Reston, Frederick, Mt.Airy,Mt.Vernon, Georgetown, Towson. Our chipotle is like many others, busy! Food is usually good, the line moves, sometimes napkins aren't always stocked. Parking lot sucks. You can't ever really mess up Chipotle! This location is AWFUL!!! The employees act as if customers are a nuisance and have horrible attitudes. And heaven forbid you ask for more of something because their portions are off. The look of disgust you will get will make you want to provide some outside training. Not to mention, my last visit resulted in almost choking on one of the stickers that are on the avocados that no one took the time to remove before making the guacamole. I work late and no matter how close to close I come in, I'm always greeted with a smile and the line is always complete with enough food. Definitely the best chipotle in the county with fair serving portions. One time the salad dressing I took home was about 80% oil and the manager was happy to accommodate me when I returned it and thanked me for returning it so that he can show his staff what to do better next time. I really am not sure how service can be so bad - actually there was no service at all in a dirty restaurant that had filthy tables and a grill that needed to be cleaned - I walked in and saw five people behind the counter and waited, waited and waited but nobody acknowledged our presence. I finally said I have to leave soon and needed to order. They all looked up and did not move at all. There were two in a register, one guy going back and forth making something I never saw before for an employee who was apparently off the clock and two others in the back doing something that I don't know. It's a shame that a restaurant which appears to have enough employees lacks the system or processes to maintain its cleanliness or even more fundamentally, customer service. We walked out and no one even tried to stop us with I'm sorry or can we help you - this is a case study in how to decrease your per store revenues through poor systems management - the sad part is that this store was suppose to be the better one as compared to the one at Foundry Row which is another story in itself - I'm surprised because there are so many choices for consumers to make in clean stores that actually have engaging employees. read more

Literally the worst chipotle in America. I'm giving it one star because it's chipotle and well, fresh non gmo and usually food is good. The service is horrendous. We keep going back thinking, maybe it will be ok, how can it possibly be as bad as last time? Well it's always bad, we have resorted to going to qdoba for our chipotle cravings but it's not the same and it kills me because I want to support the chipotle brand but the Pikesville one is painful. The line is out the door even at odd times and for the amount of people working the counter you would think it would be quick. Wrong. They usually are chatting it up amongst themselves, not listening to your requests. I have to repeat myself several times about what to put in my order. Which isn't that complicated. When asked for a tiny bit of sour cream it gets glopped on as if I hadn't even made the request. The tables are usually filthy and there's always an employee or two eating at one of them... Ignoring the mess. The bathroom is disgusting. I wish I could go back one day and the whole regime has changed but each time it gets worse and worse. I'm usually not very picky about customer service because I've learned, what's the point in owings mills/pikesville? It's usually sub par wherever you go around here but this chipotle takes the cake. read more

What? Only one review? Are you serious? But it's Chipotle! And it's DELICIOUS and the staff there is super friendly and the music is always out of the ordinary (they play Radiohead for example). I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. Only downsides (hence the 4 stars instead of 5): (1) during lunch/dinner time, the place can be insanely crowded (that would be because it's delicious!) and (2) the temperature is usually fairly low (I complained to the boss about it once but it's still the same: they're blasting the AC). read more

In general, we like Chipotle, but not this one. I've been here a few times and every time I remind myself that I need to write a review. When I see a place run so poorly, it's got to be related to the management. It doesn't run smoothly. I've tried ordering on-line and it's never ready when I arrive (and I arrive later to give extra time). And, the staff not knowing to change their gloves makes me nervous. Yesterday, they were out of salsa and we arrived before the evening rush. The individuals working there seem nice, it's more how the place is run - not very organized.
