For some reason, this chipotle can't seem to get an online order accurate. Three separate occasions they've incorrectly given me the wrong bag on pick up. After checking the bags when leaving, it is never met with an apology - just a glance and they give me the accurate bag. Recently today, I ordered a burrito and got a bowl. I speak for myself when I say this was one of my favorite Chipotle facilities. They tend to fill up my bowl and the food was delicious. After classes last year, I'd grab a bowl for lunch and I was almost always satisfied. Despite the long lines during the weekdays, it was worth seeing that I got my money's worth. I am visiting from out of town and have lots of food allergies. We went today but did not eat. Asked my meal to be prepared gluten free, because I have to be for medical reasons. The first person said what is that? She asked a second person and he said All is gluten free. They were both very unconcerned and seemed put out. We walked out. Prepared to eat in a succulent restaurant Chipotle. If you are into quesadillas, mostly into Mexican Food, and burritos then this is the restaurant for you. The last time I was here this place was buzzing around so much. Many people come here to eat but mostly for takeout. Many people eat this for dinner. It is a fast food restaurant but the food is amazing to eat. But also these foods can be eaten for brunch time. This is a heavy meal so it could be helpful for not having hunger. As we are entering the atmosphere let me say that the artificial lighting enhances and is glorious. The sitting area would need some work. It does not have a soft, luxurious feeling that you would have when you sit in a comfy area. There are no decorations. The color brings out the mood and all I see is a bland mood which is unacceptable on the walls. The take-out area needs a bit of work. There is a place in the back where there is a serving area. They also have a restroom. You could find this in South Plainfield, East Brunswick, Jersey City, Metuchen, Princeton, and Edison. There are many more places, these are just a few options. These options are all in New Jersey. But as we move onto the food let me tell you it is breathtaking and is to die for. The scrumptious area where you smell a piece of Heaven, the taste and flavor is a work of art. This restaurant's sublime flavor brings out the restaurant feeling. Some unique drinks are soda, apple juice, and chocolate milk. There is a kids meal where you get to pick a variety of foods you would like. For example black beans, corn, and rice with quesadillas on the side. You would start out at picking a kids menu, burrito, or quesadillas. The quesadilla can have just cheese, or just chicken, otherwise both together then heated. People choose what they want in the burrito bowl. Then you would pick what you want: guacamole, corn, beans, chicken, rice, spicy salsa, cheese. This place is vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Once you have the food, you would be able to choose juices, chips, or berries. Then you are all set and unlike other restaurants this one people can pick what you want and it won't take a long time. When you are choosing your foods there are other people that are in front of you or behind that can also order what they want. The food is sumptuous, sultry, and plentiful. Even if this place is crowded with people the food does not run out. But what if you have too much salsa do you get another burrito bowl ? Well that brings me on to the service. If you have too much salsa or guacamole they would take it out and then you could tell how much you would like. If you need any drinks, spoons, forks, knives, tissues, or salsa they already got it. There is a place where you could get all these things. There is not really a service like a waiter. But the fascinating website link of the Chipotle app is stunning. It allows more customers to be able to just click on their dish and take it. The prices are mostly cheap; it is mostly lower than $10.00. So in conclusion Chipotle has great food but can do better in decoration. It could be better because the place is unappealing. But it has an enormous space to eat and to buy at the same time which makes up the decorations. The food is divine. The atmosphere could be better but overall it is a exotic place to eat. Lets be honest, this Chipotle is the exact same as every other Chipotle and Mexican chain store across the country. However some employees are hella awkward. When I finish ordering at the cash register sometimes the employees stand there while I hold my credit card in front of them like an idiot, or they stare into my soul and remind me of all my broken dreams. Walking into this establishment is sometimes an emotional roller coaster. The quality of the food at this chipotle is good and they do not skimp on the portions. It can get incredibly busy here so I do recommend mobile ordering. My only complaint is that my order has been wrong a couple of times. They did fix it without any questions asked but I was already home when I noticed. Considering I go here frequently, these minor mishaps have not deterred me from coming back. I do recommend the app which also lets you earn points which can be used towards a free meal! read more

Went here on the 25th of April. A voucher for 2 free entrees since, my last visit the order was not correct. The staff is extremely rude. Their tone, is extremely Disrespectful and act like we are wasting their time. The restaurant is a mess and it's disgusting. The sour cream was cross contaminated with salsa droppings from scooping over the container. The floors and tables were filthy and do not get started on the bathroom. Shudders. I was there today and the ladies room water didn't work, all the tables were dirty, and they were out of ice and napkins! Yuck!!! Wow, this new franchise chain shocked me with its long line. I've been away from states for almost 3 years. The economy is on downhill but this chain is growing successfully. I'm not a big fan of Mexican food. I passed by Rt 1 and saw the long line then I decided to give it a try. Not too bad. Average food. The staffs are friendly and well trained. Since I'm not so familiar with the choices or ingredients, they explained to me patiently although the whole store are packed. The waiting time is somewhat longer than I expected. I'll never understand the hype of Chipotle. I've been to a few and the food is good, if overpriced, but I fail to see the attraction. This particular establishment disappointed me. I went with my girlfriend and we both needed to repeat ourselves to the staff multiple times when ordering. They made numerous mistakes and just weren't on the ball. They were not rude, but they didn't seem to know what they were doing, nor care. It was not even particularly crowded when we went, no lines, so it's not like they were overwhelmed. We both got burritos. They were alright but I've had better at Pancheros at the Hamilton Marketplace and Qdoba at Market Fair, both of which are considered "knock offs" of Chipotle (though arguably better). The shredded cheese was cold and hard, the meat was grisly, the guacamole was unremarkable. Nothing really stands out, to be honest. It was certainly a Chipotle burrito but it didn't blow my mind and I didn't leave satisfied. The atmosphere is also unwelcoming. You feel like you're sitting in a school cafeteria, very noisy and uncomfortable. Anyway, I could get a much better, heartier burrito at Pancheros in Hamilton for about $2 less of what I paid, and the staff are much more attentive there. They even give you free food if it's late and they have extra that they were gonna throw out anyway. Qdoba is also great but pricey. read more

I have to write a review because this is one of the few places that I will go out to eat. I can't have gluten and they are always able to accomodate me. I have been to this location about 3 times and all the staff members were well trained and knew what I was talking about. You could have knocked me over with a feather when a 17 yr. old boy jumped right in to make my bowl and knew what I could and could not eat. I think the staff is great. They were all very helpful. As a courteousy to the rest of humanity, I won't go in there when it is busy because I can only have one person touch my food and that upsets the dynamic of how Chipotle serves their food. read more
