Can I give this place 0 stars?? I got my bowl to-go, and when I got home - not even one bite in - I saw this bug!! I called them and the response was "we probably need to check the fly traps". (Yeah, no crap!!) They offered to remake my bowl OR give me a refund ... although I should've been offered both at the very least for the inconvenience of having to drive back over there and prove to them that the bug was there. Not only was the service terrible but the food was just as worse. I'm standing in line behind a young lady who ordered 3 bowls and tacos. I watched at the initial server spoke to her and engaged in delightful comical conversation. After the server finished he walked away as if I wasn't standing in line and more customers entered. He then proceeded to engage talk/laugh (have a good ol time) with the rest of the staff while periodically glancing at me. After some time someone else came over and took my order. As I was leaving it seemed as though the initial sever shift was ending. As a 6 year cocktail server and a 10 year public service worker, I have a certain expectation when it comes to customer service. What he should have done was address my presence (instead of glancing at me from the back while distracting other workers and asking the front staff about music). All he had to say was, I'm sorry mama my shift is ending and someone will be right with you, instead of ignoring and looking at me because he knew he ignored me. After receiving terrible service, I received overdone rice and dry carnitas (it was 8:20pm and they were out of Barbacoa ( understandable), no sign indicating this. I would've left had I known). I ended up throwing the entire thing away because it taste like dry mush/baby food. I wish I read the comments before wasting my time and money. read more

Every single time I mobile order from this location my order is never ready when I get there. It's always 10+ minutes after the selected time. They are also very nonchalant about it like it's not an issue. The staff also socialize in front of customers a lot. The mobile order shelf is always empty because no orders are ever completed before pickup time. All you see are annoyed customers standing by the register. Also people who walk in and order leave well before you do. There has to be a system that can make this work like it does at the Lanham or Bowie Town Center locations. It was great to have a chipotle so close to my house... but it's annoying when I might as well stand in line and order.. read more

POC, please be careful ordering from this location! They're always deliberately giving us the wrong orders, purposely leaving out ingredients, and adding in more fat and gristle in our meats! I can't say that Chipotle as a corporation has amazing customer service bc frankly I can't ever remember going to one anywhere that the staff didn't feel rude af so I can't go on a rampage about this location when it's not just a them problem. But this is my Chipotle location and regularly eat here so the lack of good service here just hits different. I think what irritates me most is that I frequently have experiences where when I come up to the station, the people just look at me without saying anything. No "hi" no "what can I get you" they just stand there and wait for you to tell them what to do. Which I get when it's busy and can understand but when no one is in there, it's kinda like uhhhh wtf. Its a high volume Chipotle so I don't expect there's much they could do better but I think small customer service tweaks would go a long way. The energy in this place is just negative and it really translates to the customer and vice versa. Update: today they were out of chicken and cheese! Which I get supply chain but offer steak and quest for the same price. The consumer shouldn't have to take the price hit, the corporation should. This store is five minutes from my house. After reading all of the terrible reviews, I didn't want to eat at this place. Tonight, I took a chance. I had a GREAT experience! Everyone was very professional and the food counter was clean. The real test was the taste. The food was cooked perfect. I didn't experience anything negative. Let's give them a chance. This is the first time I've ever thrown away food from Chipotle. I mean I couldn't even finish my burrito bowl. The chicken was so burned that it ruined the entire bowl. I tried to eat it. I really did try to eat it, but I just couldn't stomach it and tossed it in the trash. Moving onto the chips & salsa. One out of every 3 chips was stale. I'm not talking about mild staleness, I'm talking about bite down and the chip is super soft stale. Man, listen... I'm still kind of pissed off about the chips being so terrible. How are they storing chips at this location where they can be that stale? Unreal!!! So I figured I'd make a courtesy call back to the location and let the manager know about my experience. It seems like every single time I come to this location the inside lobby is closed and they are only accepting online orders. It's so frustrating, because I want to go inside to make sure they get the order correct, because they have not successfully delivered quality through online orders here historically. The staff are not transparent about why they are only accepting online order. I was so excited about this new location because it is conveniently close to home, my excitement has since gone along with my appetite for this location. I ordered my usual the chicken chicken bowl and it was so nasty I threw it away. I'm not sure if this is a franchised personal owned location but the food seems off from every other Chipotle I have dined at. Even the salsas was bland. The chicken was under cooked and slimy, the rice was hard like it was refrigerated then microwaved, lettuce was even a little brown. Customer service is sub par the young lady walked off while preparing an order which threw off the line. My order was not completed correctly and when I tried to get the order fixed I was faced with an attitude and I did not feel like I was being listened to. I placed an $80 order and I got treated like I asked them for free food. I'm so disappointed about this Chipotle. It has such potential to be really good however the staff is not trained well at all. Chipotle's staple is getting an enormous amount of food for a relatively great price and they completely skimped on every single ingredient they put in my bowl. I even told the girl " can I have a little bit more chicken please" as to which she replied very hastily" you wanna pay for extra".... she literally gave me a half a spoon of chicken. And typically I have leftovers every time I eat Chipotle, not this time... I gave them another try about two weeks later and there was absolutely no difference . Believe the hype, this place is awful! I agree with the other young lady, if I could give this place a zero I would. The first red flag was the broken glass door. This could happen anywhere but considering the horrible reviews it was a flag. Second red flag was you could hear a pin drop in here. I went at 12 o'clock (lunch hour mind you) and there was no one in there. The employees weren't even talking. It was like restaurant detention, don't talk or you'll get in trouble. As the guy was fixing my food I was thinking, "Is their spoon smaller than the other Chipotle's?" The portions were so small it wasn't close to filling up my bowl and I asked for both white and brown rice. I told them what else I wanted on it and went to the register. Fast forward, I get my food and leave. I open it down the street to grab a fork full or two (I was starving) and I open the container and my guacamole is brown. What the what?!?! How did it turn brown that fast? That has never happened to me before. When I went back to return my food and get my money back I looked at the guacamole behind the serving counter and it was all brown, ugh!!!! Here are the things they need to work on. 1. Food quality 2. Customer service - no one seemed like they wanted to be there AT ALL! And the guy acted like I was bothering him when I asked him for more beans (I don't eat meat). 3. Broken glass door Pros Seemed to be clean. I saw one of the young ladies in the back scrubbing not just her hands but her arms before she put her gloves on to start work. Good customer service goes a long way and this Chipotle has bad customer service. There was only one young lady that offered a pleasant greeting and she was at the beginning of the line. The young lady who was putting the ingredients in the bowl was more worried about getting to her cellphone than ensuring the customers orders are right. Boy oh boy...where do I start. I have never in my life been to a chipotle like this one. It's horrible. The customer service is one of the worst I have ever experienced. They're rude and don't even listen to your order. The nice lady in front of me tried to calmly tell her order and they were rushing her and put on wrong condiments which held up the line because of their mistake. My order was done properly but when I got to the register to pay. This funny looking roach of a girl tried to charge me for something I didn't get. I got a double chicken bowl. She charges me for chicken and steak. Like excuse me? I tried to correct her nicely but instead of her even acknowledging what I said, she screams to the person at the beginning. When she found out I was correct, I got no apology, no nothing. After I paid, she didn't say have a great day or thanks for coming to chipotle. She literally tosses the receipt in the bag and goes to the next order. Now if it wasn't a Sunday and if I didn't just take holy communion, I would have snatched this little girl from across the counter. But you know what. I'm trying to be more godly. Started off from placing an order online and showing up 10 minutes past the time it was supposed to be ready and still wasn't ready. Thank you Prince George's County for putting chipotle in the neighborhood. However, this location is the worst in all of the dmv and probably USA,Trust me when I say this. The staff are poorly trained, unprofessional and seem to not listen to the customer. The food line was in chaos, I stated my order clearly using a calm voice tone. Once I got pass putting half and half extra steak on my bowl. The crew member pushed my bowl back and asked me if I wanted tomatoes I said No and that the plate was mine she disregarded then put them on anyways asking if I wanted her to take them off. No and bye tf lol, so the line piled up with customers. The workers threw something together and skimped me on paying for extra steak. I stated i did not receive extra steak due to the lighter portion however, the cashier ignored me and proceeded to ask her coworker did I get extra steak as if I was lying and charged me anyways. I didn't wanna be the angry black guy but how do you charge someone for your fuck up? I have ventured to two different locations in the same area never did I receive the type of service. You would think by putting a chain restaurant in an area such as Mitchellville things would be different I guess not. I won't pay another dime to this terribly staffed, rude, and unwelcoming place. They won't last long by cheating customers and hiring poorly trained staff. This is the absolute worst Chipotle restaurant!!!! They are ALWAYS messing up an order. I have order from the frequently and I always get a salad. They NEVER put the vinegarette dressing in the bag when I order online! Once when it happened I went down there to get it and complained, why am I paying for delivery if I have to come back here because the order isn't correct. Another time, the same thing except this time I called, the young manager told me that in the future I can call and ask them to put it in the bag and I told him, I shouldn't have to, its part of the order, which he agreed and offered me a refund. Today, again the same thing and I had aluminum foil onto of my bowl, I assume because they ran out of tops! I just don't know why this is so hard. But I went maybe almost two weeks ago now and the beans were dried out, the sour cream was extra extra thick and the chicken was crunchy. This is the closest chipotle to me house I was so excited for it. I've went about 5 times now but the last two times sealed the deal that I won't be back. The first time I completed my order online and went into the store to pick it up. I waited my turn to speak to the cashier fayttima or something, when I got to speak to her I told her i was picking up an order she just looked at me and turned away didn't even check for my order or anything. I knew that was odd and asked her if she was ok she did not really have an answer for that. Now she proceeds to look for my order which she can't find and someone else does so once I have it I pay and leave. After leaving I realize my order isn't correct. I called back and spoke to Micah who was professional in handling my complaint which I appreciated. She offered me a free burrito on my next visit due to my trouble. So now onto my next visit the same girl is at the register who isn't really acknowledging me. I had ordered online my burrito bowl should have been ready at 1:15 and I got there at 1:20. My order was not ready yet it was coming down the line. I watched my bowl sit there with just Rice and chicken and asked a young man behind the counter if he can finish it and he did. My husband ordered three bowls and a burrito and as we ate we we noticed that the rice was extremely hard. I told him to return it because it was undercooked and unedible. He wanted a refund because we didnt feel like waiting. They chose to remake it instead and the rice was still hard. How do you mess up on rice? The place wasnt even busy. This has to be the worst Chipotle in the area. I live up the street but I will drive to the one in Bowie Md if I want good Chipotle. I went for only the second time today and again very disappointed. The service was extremely slow again and the food was nasty. My chicken in my bowl and my quesadilla was burnt. The bowl was not flavored well and that's probably mostly because the chicken was burnt. I got home and opened my quesadilla to find that it had not been put on the grill so it was cold and the cheese was not melted. I had to put it in the oven when I got home. The condiments stand was a mess!! No forks and the trash was overflowing. So at this point I figured I would go ahead and write my review. I will never go back. I say skip this Chipotle and take the drive to the either Bowie or Woodmore. You'll be much happier and satisfied with your meal. read more
