First time and we were super pleased. We sat upstairs and enjoyed a view of the beach. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was very good. We ordered the red snapper dip - delicious! Fish tacos - yum! With sides of plantains and French fries. Get the cilantro sauce - goes great with the plantains (much to our surprise). Our daughter got the very generous chicken basket and could only eat half of it! I ordered the Chiringo Rita - very good and strong and my partner ordered the mule - fresh juices - tasty! came to Chiringo the other night to watch the Alabama game our server was very sweet to us. but at the end the manager was not nice to my friend. my friend tried to pay for her food but the card ended up declining.. at the end of the night when they were closing my friend went back to try to fix it and the manager asked how she wanted to pay the rest and she said i can venmo you the money but that wasn't good enough for him. When he asked how she wanted to pay, he was just disrespectful to her and he threatened to call the cops cause she said he was being disrespectful. i usually love coming here its a good place to go but after that with the manager not sure ill come back read more

We have been staying in Watercolor for the week and have eaten at our hotel which was great and places across the street, but tonight we decided to venture out (it was only a mile or two) and we are so happy we did. Chiringo is in the cutest neighborhood. We sat upstairs overlooking the ocean and ordered pretty much everything lol. We started with the chicken wings, guac and plantains. All were amazing. Then we ordered salads and a burger with Mac and cheese. Literally the best Mac and cheese.. fresh pasta with cream sauce it was seriously amazing. We will totally be back! Most of the food was 5 star. The red snapper dip and the taco's were absolutely amazing. The Caribbean wings were also great. The burger was amazing but the fries that came with the burger were cold. Over all the food was 4.5/5 and highly recommend the tacos. But the Mojitos were a 1/5. They lacked flavor and alcohol. Our server was either having a really off day or isn't meant for this business. He forgot to put our apps in. Then asked us if we wanted apps after forgetting we ordered apps 10 mins earlier. He forgot multiple drink orders. He brought a Cesar salad with white balsamic vinegar instead of Cesar. He took cups and plates off the table without asking- that still had food and drinks in them. But worst of all, he called a fully bearded gentleman with us, ma'am, multiple times because he has long hair. You would think the server would remember after the first time seeing his very hairy face. I think the server smoked a little too much before his shift because he said and did some very odd things. I still recommend this place. The upstairs and patio area are great and the food is worth a try. read more

We came here on a Saturday afternoon in February for some lunch with an ocean view. We drove around the building twice to try and find parking before we ended up going back and parking at the beach trolley parking and riding it here which was fine for us but if you were in a hurry would have been a problem. Once we arrived there was no wait and we were seated upstairs. The vibe up there was very chill and the view was great! We had a very nice waitress who took our drink orders quickly, it took longer than expected to get drinks and food but it was all very delicious. We got the snapper dip and the tortilla chips must have been homemade, they were amazing! Another reason we picked this place as they had lots of gluten-free options and the fried shrimp was great and so was the beach bowl with blackened fish! Even worse was the restaurant's use of single use plastic silverware and cups. C'mon man -- don't culturally appropriate earthy surf/beach culture only to then turn around and heap all of your plastic silverware into the landfill.
