I've been to Chiromed Healing Center twice so far in the last month. I was referred by my mother who usually never let's me down when giving recommendations. The decor and ambience of the facility is calming and refreshing. Dr Candice Davis staff is approachable and personable. Dr. Candice Davis is really friendly and gentle. I have Lupus so she spends extra time that is needed to make sure all my inflammation is gone before I leave her center. She's very passionate and informative about her healing. She has a specific design for those who have special exceptions, i.e autoimmune disease. The process is enjoyable and she even gives you a mini massage along with the realignment adjustments of your back. She uses essential oils and special tools, if you aren't comfortable with the hands on realignment adjustments. I referred my boyfriend to see Dr. Candice Davis and now he's sitting better and even getting better night's sleep. This healing center is a place I definitely would recommend to any and everyone. Candace Davis is a wonderful chiropractor. I have seen several over the years, but I can honestly say she has been the best. She makes me feel better consistently. By seeing her regularly and incorporating the stretches and postures she has shown me, my back has improved greatly. Dr. Davis' methods are effective, she does not spend tons of time trying to get that one pesky knot to release or alignment to go. I have been seeing chiropractors since I was 8 years old and this is far and away the best ever! I have literally seen dozens of chiropractors but never one who understood how the body works as well as Dr. Candace Davis DC. When you walk into her office it's clear it's not your run of the mill practice - it is full of fountains and soothing music, decor and aromatherapy so that you immediately begin to relax. Then there is the treatment where you get really relaxed and massaged before the adjustment even begins. I first started treatment w them for some back pain as I sit at a desk most of the day. Not only has that resolved but I had systems of carpal tunnel, sever menstrual cramps, insomnia - all things that have resolved or greatly improved. I honestly had no idea how much better I could feel until I saw Dr. Davis. My journey into finding a Chiropractor began with my diagnosis With SIBO- C. I had done some research and discovered that many of the symptoms of SIBO could be helped with chiropractic support. I began searching for practitioner that understood the link between the practice of chiropractic and digestive issues. The symptoms of SIBO that I was concerned with regarding chiropractic was constipation which is said to be due to the loss of the migrating motor complex. Perhaps I thought, I could get a chiropractor to use her chiropractic skills specifically targeting my digestive system and perhaps I could get some results. Now I will state up front, then I believe the road to healing is an integrative approach. Rarely when one has a serious illness, will one type of therapy cure you. Therefore, chiropractic was one of the tools I used in my healing journey. The other main two, were medicinal grade herbs and Bikram Yoga. During my consultation with Dr. Davis, while she did affirm that she had knowledge regarding digestive issues she cannot make any promises. At my first appointment she did discover that the points on my spine which were linked with the digestive system were pinched. She discovered other things as well, LOL. Like my shoulder, and neck issues. Within the first 24 hours of my treatment had a bowel movement for the first time in a few days. Over the course of the past eight weeks which was her estimate of the amount of treatments I would need from her, my SIBO has improved 90%. I believe that integrating chiropractic into my healing journey put me on a fast track to healing because SIBO-C, is the harder of the two (SIBO-D and SIBO-C) to heal. There are many people who cure SIBO with herbs or drugs alone, however this is a very complicated condition, and everyone is different. And I absilutly want NOTHING to do with allopathic medicine. And now the practical stuff. The office environment is beautiful. If you're lucky enough to be the first person there you can sit in a chair with a massage apparatus, as you listen to the sound of the waterfall. Perhaps have a cup of tea or a piece of fruit as you wait. When you're called into the room you walk down the hallway that is illuminated by candles. They are plants and sacred tapestries, beautiful artwork, and diffusers keeping a peaceful and fresh scent in the air. The only downside to ChiroMed, is that is it not a one-stop shop meanting that if you want herbs, acupuncture, or other healing modalities while she can refer you out to specialists she works with -the only things you can get in house are chiropractic and massage. And let me tell you the massage therapist that she works with is amazing! Make sure you get to your appointment 5 to 10 minutes early, because sometimes the parking lot can fill up and you might have to look for a space. Overall, I reccomend Dr.Davis because of her gentle approach, and she is KNOWLEDGABLE! When she touches you you can feel her going right to the spots that need work. It is obvious she is a seasoned practitoner, and that is what I respect most. read more

After being treated by another chiropractor for 6 months after an accident and being discharged because he was more worried about getting paid by my insurance than he was about me still being in pain, I was lucky enough to find Dr. Davis. My first visit was almost two hours, it was like going to a spa for the day. First she talked to me and evaluated me, really listened to what I said. She used electric muscle stimulants, massage, accupressure, aromatherapy, and even a laser before she even adjusted me. My previous chiropractors were always like a 10 minute "crack-crack" you're done kind of visit. If I was lucky, I'd spend 10 minutes on a traction or massaging table afterward, too. But not with Dr. Davis. She gets the muscles relaxed first, then adjusts (but so very gently - hardly any "cracking.") That way, the adjustment actually stays & the muscles don't pull it right back out of whack. Her hands are the most healing hands of any doctor I've ever met. She always knows right where I'm hurting, and is always compassionate and careful about the pain level. I am an actual person in her office, not just a number or a paycheck, and she never lets me leave until I feel better, however long that takes. She also accepts a lot of insurance companies, too, even if her rates are very reasonable. Having suffered with this injury for nearly a year now, I can finally say that I am healing well. In less than three months with Dr. Davis, I am so much better off than I was after six months of a traditional chiropractor.
