I also just love the whole salon -- the owner and everyone there is amazing. John does my pedicure and he's fantastic with nails too. The second time, even though I had an appointment, I still had to wait 20 minutes. I decided to give them a third chance because it's close to my home. This time, they cut my toenails all the way down to the skin. One of my nails was broken, and I asked them to cut that one, but instead they cut all of them extremely short. When I asked why they cut them so short, they told me, "It looks cleaner this way." After that, she put extensions on them or whatever . On top of that, nobody there treats you kindly. The atmosphere makes you feel like you're not even a customer. While I was sitting there, after I expressed that I was unhappy with how my nails were done, after everything she started talking about me and telling the story to her coworkers in front of me but i can understand their language. That is very unprofessional and completely unacceptable for a business. Overall, I'm very disappointed with the service and will not be returning.

They also do it in a different way that makes it last much, much longer than other manicures I've gotten. I don't think this location has that, but they still exceeded my expectations for the callus remover I didn't have much though I ended up switching to a gel manicure and a gel pedicure out of my own choice. They didn't offer me or pressure me into it and they also treated me good regardless if I was gonna do polish or not, so I really liked that. I ended up picking a very light natural color, and the lady made sure that she checked in with me that it looked almost clear, and I told her that I liked it and she put an extra layer for me just to have a little tint of color I have not been to a nail salon in a very long time and I usually get cuts and little necks that hurt for a long time and I did not have that issue here at all. It was all dry manicure and pedicure, but the lady was very gentle with the tools. I am looking forward to coming back to the salon again.

And if you don't like something, she'll wipe it off and do it again within a matter of seconds. Other nail techs would always work so slowly or take forever for them to understand my vision, but again Cynthia is fast AF and makes sure that it's perfect. Gotta love a perfectionist as a nail tech haha. Making an appointment with her is easy. She's based in ktown, but there's actually FREE PARKING for the building her salon is in. She's easy to talk to, unlike a lot of nail salons where I just feel awkward or forced to talk the whole time. It's a way more pleasant nail service experience!
