I was searching for my morning beverage and today I chose a hot chai oat milk latte with vanilla. It was delicious and flavorful! Baristas Angela and Miffi were very welcoming and kind. They made me feel welcome when I entered and as I ordered. Hospitality at its finest! I also chose to try their Classic Quiche Lorraine, with ham, bacon, swiss cheese, eggs, milk and cream with a side salad . It was paired with a light dressing which was incredible! The quiche was tasty and I actually enjoyed it. At first I was a little concerned because the crust was on the crispy side, but thankfully it tasted fine! I sat by the window while I enjoyed my beverage and quiche and just appreciated a beautiful moment. I will be back!!!

Great cafe! So happy we found this. The pastries and breads are perfect! The puff pastries were crispy and shattered perfectly. The bread was so tasty and so fresh. The cafe is nicely decorated and invites to stay. Service was great.

All their food is pretty good, ok what am i saying it was really good. they have a babka which is a nice find. Their flowerless heavenly cake is also really nice isn't too chocolatey and their chocopain(chocolate croissant in French) is also delicious. The sever is attentive ant patient. The atmosphere is nice. It's a French base restaurant. The only problem I encountered was that they didn't warm up my croissant and I had to ask. Over all 4.7/5 so it good

I had to stop by after I kept smelling the fresh bread and croissants from outside. It was very clean inside, as they were wiping down the counters and sweeping. I got a hot latte with oatmilk. It was perfect on this cold afternoon in Hoboken!

Can't believe this cute little place is so close to my office. Their sourdough bread is amazing. I also had their chocolate tart, chocolate chip bread. Their latte is very good too! On my third visit I got lucky to have macrons in stock and I bought a box of 6. They were yummy! I got Chocolate, pistachio, coffee, lemon(surprisingly very good), salted caramel and raspberry for $16.60. They also had a lot of teas on display and for sale but I didn't try any. Service is excellent, location is awesome and the place is bright and full of natural light. It's a great spot for spending lazy mornings and getting together with friends.

Based on the location it can seem upscale, they do have a variety of breads, pastries, and coffee types. But a typical spot for weekenders to grab and go.

The dry cleaner is gone and more French pastries have arrived as Choc o Pain expands to Hoboken uptown. Place is nice and clean with a variety of seating from cafe tables, group tables and a loveseat. You can get coffee in a non paper cup and food not served in paper bag(this is not Starbucks) Both my mocha and chocolate croissant were good. It was served at room temperature but judge could warm it.

Can't get enough of the vegan croissants too. Lemon pistachio cake

Just had the most delicious blueberry tart I have ever had. Nice flaky crust and fresh blueberries and not too sweet. Just perfect.

I also got the brookie which was more like a fudgey brownie with a crushed cookie topping. It was very rich and delicious, I enjoyed it for a couple days because I just could not enjoy something that rich and sweet in one sitting. Most recent visit may be my favorite! Got the mango sticky rice latte - yum! The latte itself didn't taste as strong as the blueberry cheesecake latte it was much smoother. Also got the walnut banana bread as per recommended on Yelp - and wow! That was the best banana bread I've had, perfectly moist, love the dollop of icing too it was just enough if you wanted a tad bit sweeter for your banana bread but it was just right in my humble opinion! I would definitely come back for that! Service was attentive & quick. There's a couple table to sit outdoors but non inside. Also, street parking only & be sure to read the street signs!

The ladies working here were so kind and gracious about it, explaining how to order the cinnamon donuts in advance and they freeze well if you order a large quantity, so I purchased an apple cinnamon caramel scone instead. I ate it the next day and it was very good. I appreciated that it was a scone and not too sweet. There are chunks of apple in there with a definitive cinnamon presence. The caramel is drizzled over the top. It would go well with coffee or tea, particularly chai. There are other offerings here and if you see the cinnamon donuts, do not pass them up. 3.5 stars, but I am certain that could be revised upwards if I sample more of their baked goods.

I'm not gluten free but love any and all sweets. And I have so many GF people in my life. We were all patiently awaiting their grand opening and let me tell you: it was worth the wait. I stopped in shortly before they closed to pick up a box of cookies to bring to said gluten free friends. I got a mix of the sugar cookies, chocolate chip and sea salt caramels. All are incredible and none give the slightest hint that they are made to be GF. Crazy moist (Oy, sorry if you hate that word, but they were MOIST), soft and flavorful. The sugar cookie stole the show for me but I don't think you'll find a cookie you don't like. They had so many lots of vegan options as well if that's something you're on the hunt for. I can't wait to stop in again and try more of their cakes and sweet treats. Happy to have you in Mile Square!

So get anything fresh, like made to order cakes or things you see come out right when you're there. Otherwise you run the risk of getting old stuff, which sucks that they don't manage that at all. On a Sunday afternoon lines moved quickly and we were able to find seats. This is a cute cafe that offers plenty of savory items and lunches, plus drinks like matcha, cakes, pastries and cookies. There is also a bathroom! The women behind the counter were all nice and patient with my questions, they also kept the line moving and were quick. I had high hopes for the Alfajores as this is an Argentinian bakery but unfortunately the ones given to me were stale. The cookie was very hard. Also the Dulce de leche was too sweet and burnt tasting to me. I also got a chocolate covered one and the cookie in that was also hard and dry. The strawberry croissant was amazing. Never had anything like that before. Not too sweet and very flaky. It has a ribbon of red on the outside which gives it a unique look. I would love to come back and try savory items. I'll continue to stick with the cakes and croissants for desert and make sure it's fresh!

Place is a hole in the wall to the point that I walked right past it. Lone server inside was very friendly. Definitely a 'get your shit and go' kind of place, but what do you expect with Hoboken real estate. Got a red eye over ice, which was slightly burnt but still good. For food I tried the La Rustica sandwich, which has proscuitto, stracchino cheese and truffle cream on homemade bread. The bread was great and I could've had just that. Decent amount of proscuitto however the price ($16) justified that. Cheese didn't do much for the sandwich, as it was outmuscled by the proscuitto and just added a touch of cream. Truffle was similarly lost. All in all could do better, could do worse. Donut bites, on the other hand, were freaking money. Got 3 of the ones with custard and should've gotten a dozen. That made the place itself. Lots of other interesting things here worth trying. Wish I could a sandwich with mozzarella as there were plenty of others that looked good too. Definitely would give this another shot, as there's some good stuff here!
