First visit, great experience. Food was served warm and delicious. Servings were ample. Restaurant was clean and comfortable. Associates were friendly and helpful and patient.

What a great experience. The person that took my order I think her name is Lisa was absolutely amazing and explained a lot of different information since I haven't been here before. I was even able to get a couple of samples before purchasing. The service was extremely quick efficient. I didn't wait more than a few minutes. I also like that they have a veggie bowl without a bunch of rice and carbohydrates I was able to get the veggie bowl with salmon as a protein on top. Everything was amazing.

Paneer Choolaah Bowl. Black Black Lentil Daal. Mmmm

Choolaah is doing fast casual/chipotle style but it's so much better. The food is fresh made and always delicious and the Chai is absolutely amazing. Great fast service and intentional creations. Many vegan options available too!

Came here for dessert and would love to come back and try their food. It is like a Qdoba or Chipotle but for Indian food. But there are other items as well. We got the kulfi which was a perfect size for 1 person. 3.6 ounces of delish. They only have malai flavor though. Would like to see other flavors. I tried the mango lassi which was good, think it was like 12oz. Got the samosa chaat to go as well. This was interesting because we had to build it since it was to go. This was very good. The sauces and everything were good and flavorful. The (hottest) hot sauce was actually spicy. There is cute decor inside with plenty of seating. Service was nice.

We've found the Indian version of fast food! Corey and I had our eyes fixated on this restaurant before we arrived. As the day progressed I could almost taste basmati rice assuming that would be on the menu. It was! I must say, "Choolaah didn't disappoint!" I can't speak for their OGs in regards to the former price and quantity differentials. All I know is the look of satisfaction on Cory's face was priceless as he devoured his lamb naan wrap. I had the Perfect Balance Bowl with Paneer, Veggies, Basmati Rice, Tikka Masala, and Naan. We both tried a specialty drink which was uniquely delicious-- Cory had the Mango Lassi & I had the Mint and Ginger Lemonade.

Tried and consistently true, I really enjoy this Indian spot. The food is fresh...heck, watch them kabob the meat, make the naan, season the paneer, it's all cooked in front of you if you have that kind of time. The decor is clever, staff know the menu and preparation, and I am a germaphobe so I love, love, love that the owner keeps this place immaculately clean!!! If the sanitizer at the door isn't enuff....stop at the Hand Jacuzzi! Stop in, you'll be back!

Small portions. Containers weren't securely closed to food and sauce spilled into my bag. The sauce sizes are extremely sauce. A third of the size it used to be. For more they charge 35 cents. This was all $10.99 too. Unfortunately, lost a lot of loyal customers including myself who used to visit frequently and my friends. Overall, it still tastes good but for the price it would be better to go to an authentic Indian restauruant for a couple bucks more or get a chipotle bowl for couple bucks less. Ambiance was fine.

Stopped into Choolaah for a late lunch. I ordered a Perfect Balance Bowl with lamb and sides of samosas & naan. My daughter had the Kids Choolah Bowl with chicken and Tikka Masala. This is an interesting concept but eater beware THIS IS NOT REAL INDIAN FOOD. I am East Indian and, well, I would call it an American take at best. My daughter liked the chicken and rice but said the Tikka Masala tasted nothing like mine. She and I didn't care for the naan. It was soggy and loaded with black pepper seeds. The samosa were hot but very bland. Dipping them in the mint yogurt helped. My the roasted veggies in my Perfect Balance Bowl were cold. The lamb was just ok. Again bland and lacking flavor. An average eater will love this place. But for $30+ we would rather just eat at a REAL Indian restaurant.

Best thing we ate in Cleveland! My boyfriend & I spent the weekend in CLE. I found this place yelp before our trip & made it my must try food stop. It had great reviews. Here's one more. The food is so simple but just perfect. We tried the Chicken Tikka Masala bowl & a Lamb wrap. We couldn't decide which one we liked more. I almost wish we never would have tried it because now I want more. Bring Choolah to Columbus!!

Kinda Americanized food, I wouldn't say authentic. Something unique for sure! Different vibe for sure.

This was my first time ever trying Indian food, and I don't think I could've picked a better place…read more The guy at the front was incredibly friendly and helped me decide what to order. I originally planned on getting the chicken tikka masala, but he confidently recommended the fried momos and the butter chicken, saying they were two of the best things on the menu. He wasn't exaggerating. I ordered the fried momos, butter chicken, garlic naan, and got the medium spice level. Every single bite was incredible. I honestly don't even know how to describe the flavors because I've never tasted anything like it. The butter chicken was unbelievably rich and flavorful, the momos were amazing, and the garlic naan was so good I immediately wished I had ordered more. I even found myself thinking the medium spice level was perfect because it let all of the flavors shine instead of just focusing on heat. I probably could've handled more spice, but I honestly wouldn't change a thing. My only complaint is that I got full before I wanted to stop eating. I was genuinely upset that my stomach tapped out before I did. If you're debating what to order, you honestly can't go wrong, but if someone there recommends the butter chicken and fried momos... trust them. I'll definitely be coming back.

Grabbed takeout here tonight because I was craving Indian food. I already ordered the chicken chili…read moreMomo, vegetable biryani, and the mattar paneer. I ordered two of the dishes spicy (not the highest level), unfortunately the momo and paneer or almost inedible were the amount of spice in the dish! As in like burn the back of your throat off spicy!! The peas in the paneer are hard and very undercooked. The biryani is cooked well and, thankfully mildly flavored. Overall, I do not feel like I will order from this place again.
