Looking for a lunch spot with the family. We came across this establishment. We got greeted and seated quickly as soon as we walked in. Once seated we got to picking all you can eat sushi and every single one of us loved the fresh and tasty rolls and chicken and beef teriyaki. Not one complaint at all. Also, to top it off whoever was playing music had the place bumping with some good jams. I think we have found our go to sushi spot for the family.

Overall, would say SushiMe Roll'n isn't bad for an AYCE sushi restaurant. The fish quality isn't bad. It's a bit above mediocre, but it's not as good as X-Fish Izakaya. Their nigiri's were pretty fresh and yummy. My only gripe with the nigiri's was the rice to fish ratio. There was a bit too much rice for my liking. Otherwise, I would recommend ordering their nigiries. I would skip on their riceless rolls. They are too filling and not that flavorful. Would highly recommend ordering their baked muscles, salmon collar, tuna and salmon carpaccios and garlic edamame. Service was decent. There was only one female serving and hosting at the same time so we were understanding of the delays. The restaurant has ample seating and was pretty clean. They also give complimentary vanilla/matcha ice cream after your meal. If you don't want to drive too far for x-fish and you're craving AYCE sushi, I would say this place is a decent option!

The name alone should put this place on your radar lol The sushi was good and I enjoyed it. The menu has all the classic rolls and has other non sushi options. The staff were super helpful with explaining the menu and AYCE options. I will be back! The vibe is also comfortable and casual. They also have TVs inside. Plenty of parking and desert options around as well.

If you're looking for sushi in West Covina, SushiMe Roll'n is easily one of the best spots around.. Not only is the food consistently fresh and delicious, but the service goes above and beyond. From the start, everyone was incredibly nice and attentive. What really stood out to me was how welcoming they were toward my dog they even brought out a bowl of water without me asking. That kind of thoughtfulness really makes a difference and shows they truly care about their guests. The sushi itself is fantastic. Every roll is well-made and packed. The fish tastes fresh every time. Their specialty rolls are creative without being overwhelming, and if you're hungry, the all-you-can-eat option is a great deal. The staff checked in often, made sure everything was perfect, and genuinely made us feel comfortable and cared for. The atmosphere is casual but inviting, perfect for a relaxed night out. Between the quality of the food, the friendliness of the staff, and the little extra touches like making my dog feel at home, SushiMe Roll'n is a place I'll keep coming back to for sure ! I cant wait to come back for happy hour! Highly recommended, especially if you want great sushi with even better hospitality.

For a Labor Day late Monday dinner around 7pm, we were surprised this wasn't more crowded. There was a 15 party waitlist at Thumpling so we were relieved there were tables here. This has a $41.99 AYCE option, but we decided to do a la carte since we weren't that hungry. Most of their rolls are $14.99 and we got the Laker roll and the mixed skittles roll. Both were delicious. We also got the garlic noodles appetizer, which was also delicious. Service was really attentive and nice.

The food was regular sushi, I don't believe it is worth the price. However ther service is very good servers are attentive and making sure you don't need anything. The restaurant ambiance wasn't bad it was nice and had a very social vibe to it.

We stopped by randomly after stopping by 85 bakery in the same plaza. We figured eh let's grab takeout sushi. They cost 60 bucks for 4 rolls, pretty typical. The food was ready in 5-10 minutes, we were kinda shocked how quick but happy we didn't have to wait long. Probably cuz this place is ayce so food gets out quick. Quality of fish and overall isn't the greatest. Maybe ok if you're eating fresh on the spot and enjoy them as ayce (though I'm not sure). Especially the deep fried ones, ugh so doughy is all the flavor I'm tasting. The rice either too stuck together or fell apart when picked up. Also the pictures don't look like the actual products. I'm pretty sure I ordered a couple of fresh rolls but didn't receive any. I probably didn't pay attention to the description (rushing!) or they gave me the wrong order. They were packed pretty badly too. They're stacked but they wouldn't stay stacked so we kept having to readjust (not able to hold constantly in the car). This resulted in the food not looking very appetizing upon serving. Probably won't come back anyway cuz hubby was pretty unhappy with the experience, so I shouldn't dwell!

I ordered the Money Marc roll it was nice fresh and very flavorful with the fried garlic on top. The house salad is always fresh and the ginger house dressing keeps me coming back here. My waitress was Anika suggested that roll and she was no point with that suggestion and she provided me with great service. This is an Oriental ambiance nice and casual.

Excellent options, everybody in our party loved what they got. The prices were actually pretty decent too. I would have to say the tastiest thing we had was the garlic edamame, the spice was just good! Don't let it being in the corner of a large strip mall disuade you from trying it it's really good good food and the staff was very helpful.

I have been here a few times before and it is always amazing! It's made to be an all you can eat sushi joint, so the quality is mid-tier, but still delicious! The service is excellent, the inside is SUCH A VIBE! If you want a cute sushi date that is affordable I'd recommend here!

Quick Yelp check as we were driving in the area & wanted something refreshing on a hot weekend! Found this spot & decided to give it a go. We didn't do the AYCE - seems like a fair price for that though! We did A la carte & had plenty of food. We had the Mamacita, mangonificant, Lakers, & Crunchy roll. Garlic edamame was good, will go w spicy option next time. All were good sized rolls. Asked for forks for my kids & they even gave us the chopstick trainers for them! So sweet. Will definitely come back. Small side note - not the restaurants fault - Parking was chaotic bc there are so many shops - but, definitely giving grace here bc it's Mothers Day weekend (just adding in here so you know what to expect!)

My family and I were craving Sushi, and wanted to try a new place; so we decided to have dinner here. I ordered the all you can eat and it was excellent. The rolls I ordered were made to perfection. They did not have too much rice and the fish and vegetables were fresh. Service was excellent and the rolls were at our table within two minutes of ordering. We will definitely be making this one of our new dinner spots.

How do we order party tray?

Base on what you & your party would like on ur sushi trays/ platter. Range from $4.99-$8.99 ,2 pieces each again base on your preference selections. Unless they already created there specialties sushi tray/platter that restaurant selected.

Do you also serve party tray/platter?

If you want all what you ordered in same tray/ platter the staffs will do it for your order. We do that for my son so all his Shell fish order won't get cross contaminate with all our orders with different sashimi selections. Again just asked ur…

Do you still have the ayce to go option?

In all the years been coming to this location never did I see the AYCE to go option. Best to call location to verify. They do have to go meal selections & all dishes from the AYCE list can be order to go but prices varies. And not consider AYCE…

What is the service fee of 15% for? Is it disclosed up front?

It's a shame they have to do this. It's a minimum TIP. Perhaps it's a result of COVID but now that people are coming back to dine inside and a lot of pickup their waiters are not getting tipped. So they instituted a "service fee". It's a misnomer…

Is AYCE currently available for lunch? I saw some of the menu pictures say 4pm to close but they are a 6 months old now.

Yes! Open @ 11:00 AM. Was there 2 weeks ago had Shawn for our waiter out in the patio. Excellent service & food.

Can I choose not to do AYCE?

Yup! You can always order a la carte. Your whole party either has to do all AYCE or all AYCE.

Is dog allowed in your patio?

Yep! Dogs allowed in patio :)

Is the ayce to go deal still going on?

Yes it is. We did AYCE on the patio on Saturday and I also saw signs about AYCE for take out.

I was gonna bring a party of four (three adults and one child), but the child isn't a big fan of sushi. Would I be able to do a la carte for him?

How old is the child? Children 10 and under are 50% off and they can order off the appetizers menu :) If he/she is a small child, a la carte for them is fine.

Sashimi included with the AYCE price?

Currently, sashimi is not included with AYCE.

    May I have a reservation on 2/17 12:30?

    Hey! How many people?

Would I be able to set a reservation on a Friday for about 15-17 people?

Hey Da! We can make a reservation for you. Which Friday were you thinking and what time?

Do they have all you can eat? How's is it?

Hey David!! Yup, we have all you can eat :) it’s yummy, but you’d have to stop by and try for…

So oysters & the blue fin tuna available only for AYCE DINNER?

Hi! Oyster and Bluefin are only available for dinner and limited to one order per person for AYCE!

    Is AYCE the only option?

No, we also have everything a la carte.

Do you serve ice cream at the end of your AYCE meal?

Hi Audrey! Yes, we do! We offer green tea and red bean ice cream!

    Do you guys take reservation?

Hi Ray! Thanks for reaching out. We do not take reservations Friday - Sunday, unless it’s large…

I really wanted to love Couwami Asian Fusion!…read more The small, family run restaurant cozily braided into a strip mall one block south of the 210 FWY on Azusa had piqued my interest when I'd ferried an Uber Eats order from there on SAT. Interest captured by the vivid scents wafting from the kitchen and the mostly positive Yelp reviews, I boomeranged back 24 hrs later to place my maiden order. I went with Shanghai Egg Rolls and the Yang Chow Fried Rice, but I'd asked them to substitute more chicken and Chinese sausage for the shrimp, as your favorite Yelp correspondent has never enjoyed shrimp in any form other than cocktails. The staff is exceedingly nice!!! Owner/proprietor JOSEPH and his wife skate around as balls of determined energy, but with welcoming smiles affixed to their faces. The prices are pretty reasonable- My tab for a generous multi-protein entree and appetizer was $19.34 including taxes. But can we please have a conversation about the flavors? Couwami partisans! Tell me-- Did your faithful correspondent order the wrong items?! My Shanghai Egg Rolls were undercooked, limp and flaccid. The flavors were solid but the texture was so off-putting and uncharacteristic for a typical egg rolls, that I could barely get them down. The Yang Chow Fried Rice was also undercooked- I'm used to fried rice that has a toasted, beigy-yellow finish with chicken or pork cooked to at least medium to medium well doneness. My entree was, as the picture attest, a faint ivory hue and I actually hadta toss it in my skillet for five minutes to toast up the rice and finish cooking the tendrils of chicken, which were served medium rare, a micro-degree above pink but with the unpleasant mouth feel of sushi. Not exactly the way you'd expect your proteins to be prepared! I'm a huge believer in redemption. And judging by the hundreds of 4.2 level reviews on Yelp, I suppose its possible I just caught the cook on a bad night or ordered the WDT (Wrong Damn Thing)...twice! I'd normally accord two stars but will bump this up to three based on the utter civility and decency that Joseph and his staff extended to me.

Girls' Night, Loud Music & Mystery Margaritas…read more Met up with my girlfriends after work and decided to give this spot a try. Parking was easy enough with plenty of spaces out front, which is always a great start. Walking in, I immediately noticed the ambience was on the darker side. Part of the dining area was closed off for a large party watching a soccer game, so we were seated at a few high-top tables near the bar. Not a big deal, but wow... this place is dark. And the music? Let's just say if you're planning to catch up with friends, be prepared to leave with a slightly raspy voice because you'll be doing a lot of repeating yourself. Now for the fun part... the margarita flight. It was my first visit, and honestly, it felt like it may have also been our waitress's first day. She was very sweet and checked on us often, which I appreciated, but when I asked about the margarita flight, things got interesting. The flight that arrived looked nothing like the photos I'd seen. Instead of the three cute margarita glasses pictured online, ours came as four small colorful shots--yellow, green, red, and orange. Naturally, I asked what flavors they were. Her response? "I have no idea." I even showed her the photo from Yelp, and she said she'd never seen it before. At that point, my friends and I just started making up our own flavors. As for the food, we took advantage of the 2 for $22 lunch special and ordered: * 6 Chicken Taquitos * 3 Steak Tacos * Steak Nachos * 6 Lemon Pepper Wings Honestly, everything was pretty decent! Then again, food always tastes a little better when you're starving after work. The asada tacos were flavorful, the wings hit the spot, and the nachos disappeared pretty quickly from the table. Now for the moment that truly left us scratching our heads... We ordered additional food and packed quite a bit to go. Since my friend's taquitos came with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole, we naturally asked if there were lids so we could take them home without turning the car into a dipping sauce disaster. Her response? "I'm sorry, we don't carry lids." Confused, I asked, "So what happens when people eat here and want to take leftovers home?" And without missing a beat she replied: "People that eat here don't usually take things home." Wait... WHAT?! I've eaten at a lot of restaurants over the years, and I can honestly say I've never received that response before. No lids? For anything? It was one of those moments where my friends and I just looked at each other wondering if we heard correctly. To be fair, I don't know if she was new, nervous, or just having an off day, but that interaction alone pretty much sealed the deal for me. Looking back it's actually pretty funny, but it's definitely not the kind of service experience that would make me want to come back for a second visit. Overall, I'd give this place 3 out of 5 stars. The food was decent, the waitress was sort of kind yet dismissive, but between the extremely loud music, dim lighting, mystery margaritas, and the unforgettable "people don't usually take food home" comment, this ended up being more memorable for the wrong reasons than the right ones. So for her responses & personality alone, bumped it down to 2/5 stars for me. Worth trying once? Sure. Would I come back? NOPE! Happy eats!
