We didn't know exactly what we want, that's why we ordered different kind of kebabs: Beef Shish Kebab, Barg Kebab, Pork Ribs Kebab, Pork Chops Kebab. The Pork Chops Kebab was my favorite. Literally the BEST kabob around. Totally inconspicuous place, but they really take great pride in their food and presentation. The salad sharazi is unreal, the cabbage salad is 5 stars ALONE. My favorite is the beef lule / beef kabob ! My boyfriend got the pork ribs and absolutely loved them. Plus - they have a secret menu with Armenian specialties!! This place is seriously a must try! I tried this place for the first time today when I ordered lunch for a group of 11. Food was absolutely amazing and they got everything right. Every single person loved their plate. We ordered chicken, beef, and lamb and all of it was phenomenal. I personally had the lamb shank with the baghali polo and I would highly recommend it. I called and ordered directly from the restaurant. I was able to feed 11 people for less than $180 which included sides. Definitely returning to try all the other things on the menu. My manager Narineh ordered chop 'n grill today for our work holiday event and I must say i am pleasantly surprised! I am so picky when it comes to bbq because as a persian armenian, I feel like some places are missing the spices and flavors necessary, but this place is BOMB! I was eating across the street last week at Gus fried chicken and saw this new spot and decided we'd come check it out today with the fam. Their Persian/Armenian style food is delicious and top quality. We all ordered Abgoosht on a cold morning and it definitely hit the spot. The flavors are amazing I can't imagine how yummy their kebab is. I'm so excited to come back again to taste the rest of the menu. The owners were very friendly and chatted with us a bit and made us feel so welcomed as if we were eating at home. This hole in the wall restaurant is hands down incredible. The food and service is top notch and will definitely be coming back here. My family and I went there to eat abgoosht on a cold rainy day. I need to not just review, but RAVE about Chop 'N Grill BBQ. I have ordered twice from them while in quarantine and each time has been overwhelmingly positive. I have tried the chicken, salmon, beef, and luleh kebabs and they are full of flavor and seasoned with care. I always fear an overly salty or greasy kebab and these are marinated well and allow the meats to speak for themselves. I find the chicken and salmon have a lightly acidic lemon marinade that is evened out by a savory finish, and the beef is allowed to shine with proper seasoning and grilling. I tried the hummus to an equal amount of surprise and delight as it was clearly made with care and appreciation for flavor. Each time I've ordered, the meats have been cooked perfectly- the salmon specifically wowed me as I wasn't expecting as juicy and flavorful of a bite. The rice is aromatic and fluffy, not overly greasy, and orders come with a generous portion to compliment the dish- no need to order extra! A grilled tomato and pepper are included, and the restaurant even goes out of it's way to give you a FRESHLY packed ziploc with a mint sprig, radishes, and onions. Even further complimented by delicious lavash bread and even MORE complimentary sides such as butter and sumac salt. If I had a single complaint it would be that there is a lot of plastic packaging involved in the order, so I wish there was a more eco-friendly way to deliver the goods, but I digress. Overall I won't mince my words as deliciously as they do their food, but I have found a favorite in Burbank that will hopefully be my go-to for years to come.
