Came across this page and noticed it had 5 star so I decided to give it a try. We ordered the beef Lula and the beef filet / sheesh kebab. Also got hummus and eggplant . Both dishes were flavorful but the filet was a little over seasoned. Taste was good but the seasoning was super super strong, like a little too much like to a point where it feels like you're eating seasoning with a side of meat. First time I didn't finish a shish kebab. The seasoning wasn't the best either so I wish there had been some sauce to substitute. The hummus and the eggplant were good but the pita bread it came with was crispy hard instead of soft. When we were given the menus, at the bottom of each menu, there was a coupon for free appetizer with a plate so we ordered two plates and asked the waiter if we get two apps, to which he said yes. Unfortunately they still charged for one of them which didn't make sense. Parking was a tight squeeze. There was a homeless person sleeping outside and their dog kept coming up to us for food. Was so sad! Hope they're okay!

My only go to spot for some real good Armenian BBQ. I have pretty much tried everything on there menu and Chop 'N grille has came thru with real good tasty authentic Armenian food. This is a must try place My favorite is there Soltani kebab - combo of beef barg which is beef filet tenderloin cooked medium well and beef luleh kebab amazingly delicious. Lamb chops are amazing no smell great quality meat Everything on there appetizers I recommend everyone I have tried and they are all delicious. Salads - salad shirazi and Greek salad both are very good

I'm always searching out restaurants in Burbank as it's hard to find good food in my area. I am very pleased I came across chop n grill. I was greeted by Liana and she took her time to explain the menu. I settled on the salmon plate and it was a very good portion and cooked well. The restaurant is a bit small but very clean. It's next to a liquor store and has a small parking lot. I would like to dine in one day as it seemed like a nice spot. Glad I found this bbq place!

Lovely place to have lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Quiet, peaceful, and the food is wonderful. All the flavors worked well together and the eggplant appetizer was delicious. My only critique is my ground beef kebab was closer to well-done, but that is a preference, nothing wrong with the food at all. Next time I will order it medium. I would very much recommend this place.

Came into chop n grill on the wednesday before thanksgiving. We were warmly greeted and then ushered into a fabulous meal most of which we took home. The portions are huge and the prices are affordable. Give this place a shot.

I came to this restaurant exactly 12 months ago this day and once again they have greeted me with open arms. MELENA the hostess was extremely kind and helpful. And as far as the food, all I can say as an Iranian Armenian I can vouch this is one of the best kebab's I've ever eaten.

Let's start with the Customer Service: Excellent! Very friendly and helpful! The food? I have to say I'm a very picky eater... and this place.... is SUPER DELICIOUS. I'm very choosy about my hummus.... and I found a new replacement for not only my hummus but the food. I'm looking forward to stopping by again. I have to the say the Chicken, is very flavorful and juicy. The rice, is soft and delicious. The lavash is freshly made. Definitely recommending! This place, did not disappoint.

Wow this place is clean and food is great.

Upon entering the establishment, the ambience of the place embraces you as a guest. Small, but nicely decorates and with good music playing. Mashed potatoes are authentic handmade mashed potatoes with the taste of home. BBQ was perfect and tender and TASTY. Reminder 2: BBQ it's not a cheap food to make, so you will not find any dollar menus here, but if you compare to Manny, the other barbecue restaurants in their location, you will find this is an extremely good value.

Ribs Plate Combo with mac and cheese and cornbread for my sides. The ribs were almost falling off the bone but still with a bit of chew on it, which I appreciated because I don't like mushy meat. The sauce was tangy and sticky and not too vinegary. Good stuff, but couldn't finish so it came home with me. The big surprise was the cornbread. Most BBQ places concentrate on the meat and leave the sides as afterthoughts so that means cornbreads tend to be disappointingly dry. Not this one. This cornbread was moist and flavorful. The mac and cheese was just okay. Should have gone with the beans. My dining companion and I also got to sample some sliders and they were pretty damn good. Wish those had been on the menu. Service was good although, most people were taking their food to go. The atmosphere inside was warm for a cool day and almost too warm as my companion had to shed her jacket before we started eating so she wouldn't overheat. Not sure I'd be able eat inside on a hot summer day. They do cater and parking is street and a miniscule parking in the back. I believe it's only credit/debit only, but check first. Pricing is reasonable, but remember, it is beef you're paying for so definitely a splurge day. Happy eating!!!

The portions of the meat were decent and the portions for the side though were loaded. There have multiple sauces to choose from inside. We enjoyed them in the limited patio seating. I first found out about Handy Market on social media for their weekend BBQ about a month ago. As I had been craving bbq for a couple weeks now, I found today to be the best opportunity to give them a try. I placed an order for pick up the night before. I got kind of carried away with the order, as I wanted to try almost everything on the menu. The prices were absolutely insane! I think I ended up paying about 65 dollars for food that would easily feed me for a good 3 or 4 days. When I arrived to pick up my order at my pick up time, I had noticed my order was being packed. I asked the employees if I can leave my order with them for a bit so that I can pick up some meat inside the market. They obliged, and I went to the meat counter to order my beef back ribs to cook for tomorrow. For 5 pounds, I ended up paying about $34, which was definitely a bargain. They were also selling breakfast burritos and sandwiches in the store, which I found to be awesome. I took everything home and opened my bag of spoils. After I took everything out, I statted thinking of what I wanted to eat first and what I wanted to save for later. It was so much food that I thought I could feed an entire army. Definitely will be back for the breakfast burritos and sandwiches, and for the meats again, for sure!

However, I am compelled to rate this establishment one star due to a particularly unpleasant experience with a female deli employee whose first name begins with the letter "J." Despite my frequent visits, the overall customer service in the deli and meats department has declined. The season butchers have been replaced with individuals lacking the necessary experience and customer courtesy that were previously present. Over the past three months, I have encountered the same issues with this particular employee. It is important to note that the fee charged for slicing a Tri Tip into a carton container is not the primary concern. The issue lies in the employee's behavior and attitude, specifically their unwillingness to properly wrap the sliced meat. This has occurred on multiple occasions, most recently at the checkout counter when the cashier pull the foil-wrapped package from the plastic bag causing the juices of the meat to spill all over the counter. This has happened to me every time this employee has served me. The Tri Tip sliced meat is dry and devoid of juices due to this careless employee's failure to wrap the meat carefully. It is imperative that this situation be addressed. Management should provide this employee, "J," with proper training on how to wrap sliced food correctly. Additionally, it is crucial the ambiance that all employees, including the deli and butcher employees, maintain a pleasant and friendly demeanor. A salutation is always appreciated. Despite these concerns, the BBQ remains outstanding as always.

Unfortunately, this time the experience didn't quite meet my expectations. Don't get me wrong, the food wasn't bad. My disappointment was more about the value and portion size for what I paid. Three slices of brisket, a small cup of pulled pork, and three small sides came to around $60. Not to mention, the pulled pork was rather dry. There were no dinner rolls or cornbread included either. I was also disappointed with how the food was packed for my to-go order. Proper packaging is important, especially when transporting food, because leaks can make a mess in your car or elsewhere. Unfortunately, the packaging did not seem secure enough to prevent that, and it did not add much value to the overall experience. For that price, especially after making a 20-mile drive, I expected either a more generous portion or something exceptional enough to justify the cost. If the price had been more reasonable, or the quantity better matched the price, I definitely would have considered coming back. Unfortunately, at $60 for what I received, it just wasn't worth the drive for me.
