As soon as we got there, there was a good amount of parking spots in front. We walked in and unfortunately someone had taken our pick-up order. We hope there's a better way to organize pick-up orders so that it's easily not taken by others. I went to the restroom while my boyfriend shared what had happened with the staff. By the time I got out of the restroom, they made our order again. We ate our food at one of the outdoor tables then proceeded with our drive. The servers are always nice and keep things moving even when it gets busy. It's in a shared parking lot, so finding a spot can be a bit of a hassle depending on the time, but overall still a convenient and reliable stop. Cava newbie here. We decided to give this place a shot because we've heard so much about it. The first thing I noticed was how long the line was, but once we got up to order we found out that they really give you their time as there's a lot of things to choose from and many people ahead of us had multiple orders. I got the salmon yogurt dill bowl and I really liked it a lot. It was satisfying and was plenty of food. Next time I'd substitute power greens for the arugula. Maybe it's a sensory thing, but the long stems of the arugula was too much for me. The yogurt dill dressing was great and the salmon was cooked well. My daughter got a steak bowl and said she'd get her dressing on the side next time. I wished I ordered pita chips with some dip, but I'll grab some of that the next time. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Parking close to the spot can be challenging because they share an area with Starbucks, Sharkey's, Jamba Juice, etc. If you go down toward REI and walk you'll find a spot no problem. I stopped by CAVA for a quick bite of something healthy, and because it's been a while since I've gotten it and wanted to try it out again. This location is pretty big and clean. I'm also glad they kind of increased the font on menus so my blind ass can actually read it and order food (I stg it was like 10pt font on the menus on the wall). I ordered the harissa chicken power bowl which came with harissa honey chicken, white sweet potato, crazy feta, hummus, avocado, new sumac slaw, new power greens, skhug, and yogurt dill sauce. For ambiance, this location has indoor and outdoor seating area. There are plenty of seating area inside and tables are clean. The only issue is parking. Stopped here while driving on the 5 north. Parking for this area was really hard, kind of a nightmare so the location is hard to get to. After we finally parked, We waited in line for about 15 mins which felt a bit long, there was only 2 people in front of us. The seemed to have a lot of online orders that take priority. The workers themselves were fine, not overly friendly but just doing their job. The food itself was not great, we got 2 menu chicken bowls instead of a pick the items yourself style. The disappointment came biting into the rice and finding pieces that were so hard I was worried about breaking a tooth. Both our bowls had this rice issue. The place is clean and usually the seats inside are taken but the outside seating is nice too. It's taken me a while to try cava but I finally did! I can prob eat from here daily and not be scared about my health. The only issue was the soda/napkin/utensil Area was not kept tidy at all. Came twice to this location and two times I felt that area was not clean. The first time I saw a woman spill her drink into the utensil area and the second time I went they didn't replenish the utensils and so I got to see the bottom of the holder and it wasn't pretty. The most popular bowl base seems to be 'greens and grains,' but I went full-on greens and the salad was super fresh. For protein, the grilled chicken cannot be beat -- flavor is amazing. Add hummus, tzatziki (greek yogurt, cucumber), ten other things and dressing for a pretty big salad in a bowl with lid for shaking and mixing. I usually go with water, but so many Yelpers raved about the Strawberry Citrus/Blueberry Lavender lemonades, I had to try both (unlimited drinks for dining in). A hit! The must-order side: warmed and fluffy pita chips. Feeling bold? Finish with a pint-sized dessert brownie or blondie. The blondie is a 10. Out of 10.
