Mantu is stuffed with a wonderful ground beef filling, a little pocket of deliciousness, a tiny spicy heat to it, and a moist sauce that rounds out the flavor, and is finished with a generous sprinkle of sumac. It's a delicious light dumpling!! My favorite dish that I keep ordering over and over is the Showra. This is a super flavorful broth in which a lamb shank sits along with a potato. It sounds so simple, and it is, but I think it's absolutely wonderful. I've never seen a naan prepared the way they do their version. Pull off pieces and dip that into the broth so that it gets all soggy and delicious :-). They serve it with a small side of onion and lemon, and I squeeze the lemon juice into it and dump the onion into the hot broth. I like to finish the meal with the light Firni milk pudding sprinkled with chopped pistachios. While eating here, you could run next-door to the market if you need some Halal meat. I think the above is my favorite meal here.
