Found some soup dumplings in Denver!! Dim sum is one of my favorite foods ever. Chopstickers has pretty good ones but only one option. Either way, I got my fix. You order at the counter and take a number. Pretty good amount of seating but it does bring in quite the crowd so if you have to wait, I'd say it's worth it. We had several different items but the best were the dumplings. Somewhere to try if making your way around the Asian food places in this part of Denver but not the absolute best we had. I have some serious concerns about the food handling I saw in the kitchen. Taking tongs that you used on food and banging it against a filthy garbage can and then putting the tongs back in the food you're serving your customers is straight up nasty. This restaurant should be cited and fined by the health department. Disgusting! The pork pot stickers were horrid! With these huge pieces of pork in the middle of the dumpling that taste like breakfast sausage. Too lazy to ground up the pork. And got the nerve to charge people $10.95 plus tax for this mess. The only saving grace and the reason for me not going hungry after spending over $20 was the ground pork over rice. I should have walked myself across the street to Chipotle. The bao was good too. I've never had water fried before and it added some texture to the bao. I don't think I'll order the fried again, I like the traditional bao. But it was still very yummy. The restaurant is smaller but there are plenty of tables and even a small sitting area outside. It did smell kind of funny (fishy) in there and it was so HOT inside.
