Haven't been here in a few years and it has really gone down. The physical surroundings are horrible . The floors are dirty and the lighting is dull and dim. The hostess seemed frustrated when we asked the prices and she was not very friendly. The food choices were not what we expected! There were American dishes mixed in with Chinese dishes. The beef dishes were chewey and the beef was sparse, The chicken dishes all taste the same. So it was ok. Some of the dishes- for example, the pepper steak- was a little bland. However, all of the food was hot and seemed fresh. No particular dish ever ran out as they are pretty quick at replacing close to empty pans. The only dish that stood out to me was the rice noodles- they were really good. Everything else was just ok. Definitely a subpar buffet experience. Waitress is attentive and refills drinks quickly. Food is a nightmare there's no flavor in anything I've gotten. Let me start off by saying that I love buffets. So put of the many that I have been to this one by far is probably the better. No to say I don't like my other onea. It's just this one is more better. The food selection of various sushi rolls are very good. I was able to get my faves. California roll, salmon roll, tuna roll, cream cheese, crawfish roll, avocado oll, etc. So I was surprised and happy by thus selection. Then also there's the hibachi grill that had a good of items I could get grilled. I was too happy! Then my waittress made sure my cup was filled whenever I ran low. This place was packed when I went on a Sunday and I definitely understand why. Very clean establishment and the workers constantly changed out the food. Went there after Mardi Gras yesterday and was seated quickly. I like the sushi options here over the other places, and I enjoyed the protein selection at their hibachi bar. While I didn't eat most of the "traditional" buffet food, I was hooked on the dumplings and steamed bread they had out hooked me. The entire place was clean, to include the restrooms. I do have a complaint about the choice in toilet paper. You think you could possibly upgrade to two-ply at least? OUCH! read more

The cooked food was great especially the grill. My only complaint is they advertise boil seafood on the buffet and then hardly put any out. We were there for 20 minutes before they brought out crawfish and an additional 10 for crab legs. I work on the Expressway near this place, and it's always great for a quick-cheap-and-delicious lunch with coworkers. We show up, get our table, get our first plates of food, and spend our time eating and chatting. The buffet area is always very clean, and I believe the variety of food offered is great. I love the lo mein (not too heavy on the soy sauce like at other Asian buffets) and the green beans. The salad bar is very generous. One of my coworkers is consistently pleased with the sushi selection (not huge, but yummy). And I always manage to make time for serving myself some Blue Bell ice cream, tucked away in the corner by the sushi bar. This is definitely my favorite Asian buffet place - in my opinion, way better overall than Asian Super Buffet in Kenner and East Buffet in Metairie. read more

I wasn't too thrilled with this place when I came the last couple of times. They're lucky they're located in such a good spot on the Westbank expressway. I agree with other reviewers they have a problem keeping stuff fresh. The sushi was ok. But their hot items were only warm and their cold items needed to be colder I like cold lettuce in my salad. They also need to clean up the bar after the children hit it. Wiping the bar with clean cloths would be a start. I don't like to see food spilling over from the serving pans. Unlike other reviewers, I've never had a problem with my bill. I usually get charged the same price every time. But because I love buffets, I tried giving this place not one but several chances. It's cheap, and they have sushi and a stir fry bar for dinner (I can't bring myself to call it a hibachi grill since it's at a Chinese buffet). I really have no complaints, other than the usual buffet critique - food sitting out for a long time so it's not really fresh, lots of salt used on everything, etc. Friendly employees and good for a quick Asian-style meal with the kids though. They have some "American" options for picky eaters too, along with the staples of Americanized Chinese food, like fried rice, general tso's chicken, egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, etc. There are lots of seafood options too, if you want to pig out on some fish. read more

Best buffet I've been to in recent memory. Highlights: coconut shrimp, crab rangoons, seafood salad and shrimp with celery in a white sauce (both dishes were served cold at the salad bar), boiled shrimp (it was actually gulf shrimp!), tuna sashimi, bourbon chicken, bbq chicken on a stick, fried fish, baked fish. Most everything else was just ok. Nothing was exceptionally bad. The place was clean and the staff friendly. Someone said in another review about how they need to clean up after the kids hit the bar, yeah there are signs that clearly say no kids under 12 can serve themselves. We went on a Sunday and the crowd was pretty busy. Everything was fresh and well kept up. This place deserves better reviews. $12.99 per adult all day on Sunday. Money very well spent. read more

One of the worst buffets I've ever been to. They have the audacity to charge you full dinner price at $11.50 but close the sushi and hibachi an hour before close and not tell you. The lighting barely shines on the food so you can't even see what you're being served. The bathrooms and floors are disgusting. Food was subpar, and service wasn't any better. Went here a few times. The last time I was there I was scolded bc my 4 year old spilled some soup on her way back to the table. Then the waitress,instead of cleaning it came up to me to tell me she spilled and to be more careful. The remainder of the time I sat with empty water glasses that no one offered to fill. Waked past and glanced at empty glass a few times. Meanwhile some guests spilled entire crawfish on the floor and no one seemed to care. Kind of rude. Didn't feel very welcome. Best Chinese buffet on the west bank . Seated fast hot food plenty of it sushi is hit or miss. One of the best things they make is the fried chicken of all things. Friendly staff , they even have a meeting room for small events that we have used for VFW dinners. read more

Its an Asian buffet. You know the type of food they have here, and if you don't take a walk in the food court at most malls and you can sample some. Its the same type and quality of that. I do like that for the dinner buffet you have the option for fresh stir-fry. The sushi is cream cheese heavy, but ok otherwise. The buffets in the area generally have more health code violations due to improper temperature of foods. I was in the area and looked up on yelp to find a place for me and my 3 year old to go while shopping. The reviews we're so so and my 3 year old was breaking down so, I said I'm sure I've had worse Chinese buffet before. we frequently eat Chinese buffet with our small kids as it is affordable, quick and easy and we can get vegatables. Anyway, we needed to eat now so, I went in. It was Great! Like I said, we frequently eat buffet and it was probably the best I've ever had. Clean, lots of options and the taste and quality was great! Went here to eat tonight grabbed a plate dat down and ate got up got my second plate and started to eat the two nasty males next to us started farting and laughing disgusted by this I got up went to the counter to pay and asked for a to go plate they ran my card and took my money and said they would charge me for the to go plate I said no that's ridiculous and restated the above reason they said they could not do a refund which I did not ask for because I had been there long enough and that if I wanted to take the remaining food from my table home I would have to pay for it. now keep in mind they throw this food away after you leave it's not as if I wanted anything extra just to eat my meal in a peaceful non rude flatulent environment needless to say I will never return it's not worth $20 a person the chicken dinner special is always juicy but a little burnt the steak for the dinner is always delicious but dry like beef jerky they no food gets left out way to long in my own opinion I mean the coconut shrimp have all kinds of sauce when first put out but they leave it so long there is non by the time it gets down to a third of the tray left I could go on but honestly they aren't worth my time my opinion go get a pack of stir fry from walmart less money less nasty people possibly sitting next to you and less workers abusing power I mean honestly you were going to throw it out anyway what was the harm or letting me take it home to finish it in peace read more
