This was my first visit to a Chop't. It was a New Years Eve Friday at 1pm. It seems that employees were busy fulfilling online orders at the time. I then ordered the Crispy Cholula Chicken Salad. I enjoyed my meal while watching outdoor mall traffic. There was no background music. I don't know what was so crispy about the chicken but I prefer a smoother texture so I was fine with what I got. Salads usually don't fill me up but I received a large amount of it so that helped. read more

Not only is it expensive, but I found a green lacewing in my salad. Have to admin I lost my appetite after that... they also didn't add some of the ingredients that were supposed to be in the salad. read more

I've been here about 4 times and I would be here more if the service would be better. Food is generally good, looks fresh. The service I can say starting with the mgr is horrible. I waited and watched all 3 staff doing everything else instead of attending customers. Line is building up and the staff is doing anything and everything other than greeting and attending the customer. Finally after 10 min of wait 2 people from the line leave. I asked the mgr for Chinese chicken bowl and apparently he was the one filling salads before even attending me, still did not have the base for my salad and took another 8 min of putting my salad together. When Preparing my salad he forgot hat I asked for and assumed I wanted Mediterranean, because I look Arabic??. Although I'm not. This place would be a thriving business and would do so much better if the mgmnt gets there shit together. Food is not bad, could be handled better. Staff is horrible starting with the bearded mgr. I actually am shocked this place has such bad reviews. I'll start by saying i love eating healthy but really never enjoy salads. I tried this place out and i am OBSESSED. Instead of getting a salad where i just eat what i want out of it (the chicken and dressing and maybe avocado) they chop it up for you with everything evenly disbursed. Its an $11 salad but it's huge! Worth the money. The place is super clean and has an upbeat, casual ambiance. I get the Mexican ceaser and usually customize it. Not only is the food delicious and health conscious, what really makes me come back is the staff. Everyone is soo friendly and helpful and truly makes you feel welcomed there. Cool little spot outside the mall. I stop here after getting my fill at the Disney store. Warm bowls are my favorite and now that they have cauliflower rice I can eat them even more since I've been on Keto for awhile now. They really fit into my health plan and I'm able to order ahead with my app so I do t have to fight to find a parking spot. Quick in and out and then spicy creamy goodness for my ride back home. The employees use the same gloves to handle the ingredients in your salad as they did to touch the cashier and previous patrons payment. Management, please fix this issue!!! I am giving 2 stars because the people that work there are very friendly and try to get you through the salad making process as quick as possible. However, at the end of the day, you pay almost $12 for a bowl of chopped lettuce and mediocre salad dressings. For the price, I'll go to Saladworks for more ingredients in my salad and better dressings. Even Maywood Marketplace give you more bite for your buck, but no seating. read more

By far one of the best salads I've ever had. It has the same vibe as Chipotle, and Cava, where you pick all your own toppings. They have so many options to choose from and everything was so fresh. Not to mention the young man, Jay, that helped me was the nicest, and let me try out things I was curious about. If I didn't inhale it so fast, I would have took a picture. Also, super clean! I normally don't leave reviews, especially bad ones, but I went to this place with my boyfriend on Labor Day and we both were terribly sick in just HOURS!! Normally I don't like to give places a bad reputation but I've read several reviews on different platforms that were posted over this past weekend and many people are claiming they got sick as well. Don't get me wrong the salad is very good but I understand it's a new start up but this was one of the most confusing eaterymesses I have ever encountered in my life. The Procedures that you have to follow is baffling and then you get the rest of the salad here but rhey waited a while and then the next step you wait there..I cant hear them because they're playing jamaican music loud it and you waited some more for something else and then you have to ask them to put the salad dressing on and get bread, when they put on and then you are still confused waiting some more and it's just utter chaos. I have been here a few times and the salads are great. Today we went to get salads for dinner. When we arrived an employee was sitting outside the store on top of a garbage can arguing on the phone. While I was placing my order that employee returned to the store and began filling mobile orders. She continued to talk on the phone but she was yelling, using vulgar language and disrupting the entire store. We all know phones are full on germs. She was talking over all the food and exposing everyone to whatever filth was on her phone. While I was still eating she took another break and continued her phone conversation with her phone on speaker. I know it's hard to hire people but this woman was absolute trash, unsanitary, and made it hard for the other employees to keep up so she could slack off. Fortunately the young woman that made my salad was perfectly pleasant but it was hard to get over the filthy employee on her phone ruining the atmosphere. read more

Everyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed with chop't. I have been to 5 locations prior to trying this one and have always had a good experience. The salad was fine at this location but, I was extremely annoyed with the service. The person who prepared my salad had no concept of an allergy. When I asked her if a certain salad dressing had dairy in it, she had no idea and had no desire to check. Then another worker said that certain ones were vegetarian- how does that help me?? I decided to just use my judgment but the experience could have been a lot smoother if I could get a straight answer from the beginning. Great experience twice at Chopt. Loved it the first time and headed right back. Ingredients are fresh and plenty of choices. I opted both times for a make your own warm salad served over riced cauliflower. Dressings are on the side and I got more than one to try and they were all delicious. They also didn't charge for extra. The manager/owner welcomed us both times and offered help with the menu if necessary. The restaurant was clean- and they recycle! Truly the worst salad I have ever had. The lettuce was wilted and tasted old. The add-on ingredients were a mess in the case and didn't look fresh, and the dressing was bland. I had a few bites of my salad, tossed it, and walked over to Whole Foods because I was hungry. I was so excited to learn that this place was coming to Paramus, and so disappointed that my salad was awful. Fortunately Whole Foods and Maywood Market are nearby and I've never been disappointed in their ingredients. read more

New salad spot to eat at Bergen Town Center. First impression was how clean it was. The staff was friendly and ready to answer any questions. As my first time there they allowed me to sample some dressings which made the selection process easier. One salad can feed Two people if your not super hungry. If you are hungry one will be more than enough. Tons of selection. I would just suggest the staff asking customers if they need help getting started with the order as I was very lost and did not know where to begin. Good food that is fresh and delicious.
