I've been loving chopt for a while now. I've started to get their kids salad because it's truly the perfect size and I love that I can still add whatever I want and it not come out to $20. Their regular salads really are a bit pricey but I do get more than one meal out of it. The sourdough that you get with your salad is delicious and fluffy. I've had the chicken Caesar wrap as well which is so yummy! Really you can build whatever you want here.

I have always ordered the same thing at Chopt - Kebab Cobb which is *delicious/chef's kiss* HOWEVER, my sister just put me onto the chicken Caesar wrap and my life will truly never be the same. It comes with kale and romaine but we did just romaine with chicken for extra protein and heavy dressing. The romaine is so easy to eat because it is chopped so finely and the croutons add the most perfect crunch! Have them add fresh cracked pepper to take it up a notch and voila! The service is good enough at this location. I found out there is a Chopt right by my house in Charlotte which ya'll know I'm about to tear up. Try the Caesar wrap, just romaine, add chicken, fresh cracked pepper, with heavy dressing and thank me later.

I ordered my salad on the the Chopt app and it was ready super fast. The salad is huge and delicious! Would highly recommend!

First time visiting this chain. It was okay. I think it was what I ordered (Southwest Hatch Chile Pork). I think it was the dressing that came with this option. Either way, I will try this establishment again, but I'll order something different. All employees wore mask and gloves which was a plus. A face mask is required to enter, also another plus!

Love their salads. Such a huge quantity and such a great flavour. Their dressings are so refreshing and really go well with the combo's. I typically get myself the craft salad, so I can change it up completely to my desire. Their shrimp is fresh and juicy. The salads are chopped so well that you can easily eat them, not like other generic salads where it's huge pieces of lettuce, and constantly having to cut it down / play with it to get it into bite size. I always go for their chopped blend in terms of greens - so good. All of their salads come with optional free bread piece - this can be quite tough to chew but it's a nice addition to the soft salad. Only downfall is their prices, super over priced for a salad $17 for the craft one when I'm done with it, but it's good so oh well. Definitely recommend this place for the perfect healthy lunch treat! Overall, my favourite salad place in Winston!

Moment of honesty: I wanted to hate Chopt. I laughed off friends who suggested it. I made fun of the "California beatniks" I assumed were the primary clientele. I joked of the side order of "smell your own fart" that came with every bowl of rabbit food ordered. I had visions of Birkenstocks, hemp bags, and dreads. I was wrong. Mea culpa. I apologize to the food gods for my transgression. Chopt is solid. Nay. It is remarkably fresh in food and character. While I'm still not a fan of the bohemian ordering set up (but dang, it's surprisingly efficient) or the paper straws(alas, these are coming for us all), the food was delicious. I had the Chicken Tinga Bowl and went halfsies (just the sorta hippy thing I was worried Chopt might inspire) with a friend on a Mexican Caesar Wrap with grilled chicken. The Bowl was good...quinoa covered in veggies pulled chicken, a zesty green sauce, and cheese. The wrap was amazing...perfectly spicy and filling with Mexican spiced caesar/ranch, succulent grilled chicken, and loads of veggies! Definitely can't wait to go back (but I'm taking my own straw with me).

Who doesnt love a good salad. Chopt makes the best that's out there. This was my first at this location but it was still a hit. Oh and I had a gift certificate from a coworker so that made it even better. Ok now let's get to the 4 stars. Right before we were about to check out the manager sends the cashier to the back to get bread because she was what it appeared to be waiting to cash us out. He thought she was just standing around and sent her to get bread. So now we are standing there waiting to checkout. The manager comes over and says have yall been helped. We're looking like how when you sent the cashier to the back. I say all that to say, he could have sent her to do busy work after she rang us up. Overall salads were good!! So no complaints in that area.

Ordered a salad for delivery today - they have free delivery through the 25th - my usual Santa Fe. Because I was ordering online and not standing in front of the ingredients I forgot to add chicken. It was good but it would've been fabulous if I had remembered the chicken! Chopt always has the freshest ingredients and their salads are large and very filling! Free delivery it was $15 for a Santa Fe salad and a drink.

Does the Caesar dressing have raw eggs in it?

Hi Nora. Thanks for your question. To help clarify, please know that our cheese is all pasteurized, all yogurt used in the production of our dressings is pasteurized, and we do not use any raw egg in the production of our dressings. I hope this…

Which of their dressings have egg? I cannot have vinegar or egg right now. Thanks!

It was busy and bustling, a bit noisy, packed spaced. We were waited on my Evie who was an absolute gem, available and professional. I ordered a special taco plate with fish that was beer battered. The tacos were pretty good: pickled onions, an amazingly flavorful orange sauce. The fish was somewhat bland and kind of mushy in the middle. The rest was good. Salsa bar, guac, and chips were tasty. I also had a fresh limeade that was great. I would come back, especially for the service.

Blackberry sage had a muddled, interesting flavor to it. Think wine-y but not quite that either. The mixed berry needed more berry flavor but was okay. Lavender was best out of all, but it was teetering on sickly, almost had too much lavender syrup. For entrees, I ordered the puffy Pete chicken tacos. They came out with crema on it when I ordered it on the side, but it was quickly rectified. The portion was good. I was full by the end. The flavor was okay. Chicken cooked fine. But it didn't have much of a sweet heat kick to it without the jalapeños added. Overall, I wouldn't necessarily get it again when we go back. My fiancé ordered the Houston beef puffy taco. He thought the taco was very filling. It had meat falling out of it, which was good. It tasted like a typical ground beef taco. He hoped the chorizo would elevate it, but it didn't. It was similar to a Taco Bell beef taco. Overall, decent tacos, and it helped that it was big for the price. We want to visit again, but we'll try other menu items and stick with water. The music was fine. Country and nothing stuck out. Service was fine. She kept only giving a small amount of napkins for a messy dish, which was a bit annoying, but she was very helpful answering our questions for our first time. So she was overall helpful and pleasant.

Housed in a former Coca-Cola bottling plant, Grandpa Joe's pays homage to the site's history through its red and black décor. The menu offers salads, floats, and soft serve though pizza is the star attraction. It is served by the rectangular slab (about $8 per). Order at the counter, grab a number for your table, and wait for the oven to work its magic. For our first visit, my wife and I split a trio of slabs -- an Italian sausage, a mushroom, and a tomato and burrata -- with a side of marinara. All three were excellent. The focaccia crusts were crispy while still retaining airiness. From melty mozzarella to savory, fennel-forward sausage, Grandpa Joe's uses high-quality ingredients. The marinara was good: bright, fresh, and just a bit sweet. The mushroom slab came topped with arugula and shaved parmesan. Despite seeming like a gimmick (pizza? Salad? Why not both?), it proved an effective combination: the arugula's bitterness played well with the mushrooms' earthy flavors. There will be a certain type of pizza connoisseur for whom anything that isn't New York style is, by definition, fraudulent. For those with horizons broad enough to enjoy a thicker crust, Grandpa Joe's is the best of that kind that I've found in the Triad.

The crust had that perfect balance of crispy and airy, and you can tell they care about the quality of the ingredients. And can we talk about the house ranch... or should I say Granch? Whatever it's called, it's ridiculously good. I would've dipped just about anything in it. The funniest part? Everything was so good that we completely forgot to take pictures before digging in. If you're in Winston-Salem and you're looking for pizza that's a little different from the usual, this place deserves a visit. We'll definitely be back to work our way through the rest of the menu.

Available beverages range from speciality fruit beverages, to bottled water, to Pepsi brand fountain drinks and of course, sweet/unsweet tea. I opted to go with just plain water. I was then given a number to place on the table of my choosing and wait for my order to be delivered. The dining room appeared clean with lots of seating.
