Went Saturday August 1st for dinner . Took an out of town guest. The first time I've been, and won't be going back. First, on their commercials they advertise brisket. When you ask about it, they tell you that's only on holidays. Misleading advertising practices. Secondly, all the food was cold, at least room temperature. The only food that had any flavor was the Mac n cheese. The steak was too tough to chew, the chicken was dry, and the shrimp were rubbery. After we got our first plate and sat down, the waitress came over and asked if everything was OK. Never seen her again after that. Then, it is definitely overpriced at 36 dollars for 2. If you plan to go on a special event day like Mother's Day or Father's Day, be prepared to wait til you are called to get a table for your group. It can get crowded, you will have to let them know your name when you walk in if there's a wait time. The buffet has a lot of food items and various dishes. It is a huge buffet area. The steaks were overcooked. The fish and seafood dishes were okay. The Asian dishes were good. Be prepared to go look for plates and utensils because a lot of the plate areas and spoons needed to be refilled. I had to walk around to look for soup bowls. I was disappointed when I seen that were some flying gnats/bugs around the salad bar area. The restrooms needed to be attended to and cleaned when we were there. I had to help with my disabled family member in the restroom and two of the stalls had trash and toilet paper overflowing on the ground and one of the restroom doors couldn't close all the way. I tried a small amount of salad, fruits, shrimp, pot roast, and dessert. I opted for water. Today was holiday fee for dining $16.99. They gave me a senior discount of $1.00. I like that. The food items were very good, except I did not care for the egg roll. The line for the steak was too long, so I skipped it. Arrived hungry and left this great buffet establishment fully satisfied and ready for a power nap! Hostess is friendly and professional along with the management team and staff. One of my fav waitresses named "Gigi" was working during my visit and helped make my dining experience a comfortable and relaxing one with her hospitality. For the price, I can't complain. It is very nice and clean in here for a cheap buffet! My favorites were the sesame chicken, the plantains, and desserts! Well, I'm not a patient person, either. So Friday the Boyfriend and I roll up and are greeted by a spirited wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tubeman. I have a soft spot for them. Interior is nice, of course, it's new. I liked the orange chairs way more than the boyfriend did. It was interesting that we didn't prepay, but we were seated accordingly and we made our way around! I loaded a plate. I am a huge Krab Rangoon fiend, but I bit into it and the wonton wrap was so squishy and soggy that it immediately made me sad. The beijing beef was cool, too. I really don't like cold food from a 'hot' buffet. Greens, green beans and sweet potatoes were ok! I wasn't much for the mashed potatoes(powder), but the boyfriend likes them! Service was a little slow for how empty the place was, but they were kind. I'm giving 2/5, Boyfriend gives 3/5. We're willing to try it again down the road, but hopefully then the meat will be hotter and the rangoons will have crisp. We ate here for lunch on June 17, 2025 and wasn't impressed by anything other than the fresh Sushi. The fried shrimp was hard as a rock, the veggies were undercooked, most of the desserts were can or store bought items. The sushi was good and fresh which is why I'm not giving this place a 1 star. If you like getting your bill in the middle of your meal this is the place for you. Ice sweet tea was warm even with little ice they supplied. Today we visited Chow's Country Buffet. The Salad Bar is stocked with all the favorites. Fried Chicken, Sweet Potato and Ribs were delicious. They have foods ranging from, Chinese food bar, BBQ and Steak bar to Seafood, Deep Fried Bar and of course Fruit and Salad Bar. The staff are friendly and very attentive. I was fooled by the rabid overeaters that fill their parking lot. Chows all you can eat buffet was a mush fest! By habit I try a little of everything to zero in on good eats. Two only their lo mein and one of the chicken dishes were even tolerable. All samples were an oatmeal viscosity or wrapped in overcooked breading. I have only been in one buffet that was worse. I am 69! Their massive selection was dissatisfaction wrapped in stainless steel. My lunch was 15.00 and most of it went in the trash. Even the desert was lackluster. This had to be the worse food I have ever had do not go they mix of cards and tell people that they have not paid. They are racist. The establishment stinks. They let little kids touch the food and do nothing about it. The staff is rude and does not listen. You have to ask 50 times just for a cup of ice. Went for lunch yesterday. It's a great buffet with Asian and American choices, sooo many deserts. The food and wait staff were prompt in keeping all the food serving dishes fresh and full, sodas full, table cleared. They have updated the interior from the Olden Golden Coral days and it's a nice refresh. They seat you when you arrive which feels a little more upscale than before. I like it. Update:: came back last Thursday and it was amazing! The fried chicken was delicious and had that "movie effect" crunch but so juicy!
