Coconut Sorbet!
Eugene L.

Ordered a Shoyu Ramen which is one of my faves! Recently opened in Pismo (the Morro Bay is the original), and the high quality ingredients, deliciousness, casual setting, and friendly service are still the same. They have parking in front which is nice so you don't need to find street parking only. Topped off the meal with dessert, a generous coconut sorbet. The owner keeps a high standard which makes this the BEST value for high quality food. Trust me, coastal food doesn't always have to be fried. Try this and you WILL be back.

Came to Pismo and hit-up Chowa bowl. Interior changed and more menu options since the last time we were here but the service and food still excellent! Loved the shoyu ramen and the okie poke! Kids loved the shrimp and chicken skewers and miso. Food is great and I highly recommend. Katie congrats keep doing what you are doing! I will add pictures when I go back the a second or third time while we are on vacation.

Nice little ramen spot! It's a nice change from the fish, Mexican and pizza that seems to fill the area. The tofu was cooked very well. Burrata salad was fresh and delicious. Staff was great.

Great service, food was awesome and flavorful. The girl taking orders and serving was absolutely welcoming, we did not feel rushed, we enjoyed our meals. Would absolutely be back.

SLAMMED this poke on the beach. Perfect walking distance to the pier if you take it to go. Enjoy the okie poke, they did not skimp on the fish an toppings. WAYYY too much rice but that doesn't mean it lacked fish. The tuna was fresh. I wish there were a few more non-cream based sauces. I would go back in a pinch. Service was quick

Shoyu Ramen

This is the best Ramen I have ever had. The texture of the noodles was perfect. Not soggy or overcooked, but al dente. The texture also stayed the same up to the last bite. The pork belly was nice and crispy and perfectly seasoned. The broth had a flavor that was out of this world. And the presentation was as good as the flavor. The service was also very nice and friendly. I did not expect Ramen this good in a touristy area.

Seriously delicious food! Great service! I appreciate how helpful the staff are! I was told the menu is fully customizable. So I ordered a lo mein (ramen) bowl with some of the skewers and my choice of sauces and veggies. 100/10!!!! I will be back for more!!

Gloomy days call for ramen and this place should be your next choice if you are looking for a good quality ramen. I chose the signature chowa bowl and it was full of umami flavor! The ordering online was easy and they have free parking for pick up and dine in which is a huge plus when eating in Pismo. Can't wait to return and try some of their bowls!

Miso Ramen

It was a perfect day for a bowl of ramen. Everything sounded so good, I was t sure what to get. The owner and staff were helpful with what to try. My hubby got a bulgogi bowl which had a ton of flavor. Super good! I had miso ramen and it didn't disappoint. Place was very clean including the bathroom. I would absolutely come back for more.

Visiting for work . Stopped by as ai saw rice bowl. Stepped in great customer service. I have an allergy to sesame seed. They delivered the most delicious bulgogi rice bowl and I ordered extra shrimp skewers . It's crunch, sweet and salty , spicy taste is amazing. I will def order again during this trip to Pismo Beach.

The Asahi arrived in a frozen mug, which made it even more refreshing. We also ordered the Shell Beach Sunset roll, which had an amazing balance of raw and cooked fish, vegetables, and the added crunch of tempura flakes. All the flavors and textures worked perfectly together. The nine-piece sashimi was beautifully presented and incredibly fresh. For dessert, we had the tempura ice cream and the green tea cheesecake--both were absolutely delicious. Honestly, everything we ordered was fantastic. Our servers, Jasmine and Austin, truly killed it. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaged throughout the meal. The restaurant itself had great lighting and décor, was spotless and well-maintained, even down to the restrooms. Parking was plentiful and free. Overall, we had a wonderful time with family and friends. An amazing experience and definitely worth coming back to.

It was plenty of food and we think it could feed three people easily (or take home leftovers). The mixed tempura was surprisingly good, but we didn't care for the seaweed or house salad. The rolls are always good and we really enjoyed trying most things at once. It's a fun way to try Kanpai! You don't need a reservation in a pair, but consider one if you're a bigger group. Otherwise, you're sat and served quickly. 3.8/5

This place is ok. I saw the mixed reviews and gave it a shot…read more The service was great. Very attentive. Nicely decorated, small shop. The prices... are very expensive. Probably one of the most expensive sushi places I've been to. $14 for a Cali hand roll. It was large and the rice had an odd sweet flavor to it? Wasn't a fan. I got the tonkatsu ramen. Only meat, onion, and added tofu. It said it would come with slices but it came with chunks of pork that was boiled.. I wanted the slices. The ramen itself was alright. The gyoza/potstickers were good. Probably my favorite. $9 side of kimchi... it was pretty good. Sadly I don't think I'll be back with these prices.

We…read morecame a little after they opened up for the day and ordered the Raku Ramen with a side of egg. We were told that it came spicy which was perfect because spicy ramen is what I favor. However, we were told that egg wasn't available at the moment and so we weren't able to taste that and saved an extra $2.50 off our bill (expensive for just one egg). We were told that since they just opened, the food would take longer than expected (roughly around 15-20 minutes). However, to our surprise it came in 10 minutes! Now for the food review, it was okay. The ramen was bland and not spicy at all. I had let the server know that it wasn't spicy as was promised and expected and if we could have some spice to add onto it. He came back with a little side of just chili oil, this was a regretful addition because we later found out that it's an additional $1.50 for such a small amount of chili oil, ridiculous. I don't think I'll be returning due to surge in additional prices that we were not aware of and the fact that the food wasn't good.
