    Cream cheese puffs

Service was top-notch! It looks like a mother and her kids run the place, and they were all so friendly and welcoming. They constantly checked in to make sure everything was perfect, which made the experience even better. I only tried the pho this time, and the portion was huge with plenty of meat. I'm usually not a fan of cream cheese puffs, but oh my goodness--they were absolutely delicious! The shrimp was also fresh and tasty. And I can't forget the Thai tea! If you like your Thai tea rich and strong, this is definitely the place to get it. Next time, I have to come back and try their Thai dishes.

Cute mom and pop shop near the beach. Service is homey and friendly. Quick, and minimal wait time for food. The soup was great and the portion was perfect. Mango sticky rice presentation is so cute and a perfect serving for two. I loved that the coconut water comes in a coconut. They were also great at providing reccomendations and being overall attentive.

Was in the mood for some soupy food so we went here after reading reviews saying the lady was nice and food was good. I got the beef pho and my mom got the og pork noodles. The pho was okay, I think the beef was cut a little too thick, but I tried my moms pork noodles and it was SOOOO GOOD. Like the pork was so tender and seasoned, it complemented the noodles SO WELL!

Banana fritter sundae (banana wontons al a mode) contains peanut

What a cute little shop! Great location on Grand Ave near Grover Beach entrance. There is parking on the street or in rear behind the building. Walk in and close the door behind you, this place makes you feel at home. Greeted right away, you can choose any available table you like or order takeout. We started out with Thai iced tea and an order of vegetarian Golden Egg Rolls. They are what you could expect from a traditional vegetarian egg roll--being sprouts, cabbage, and such--except these were the hottest, crispiest, most delicious egg rolls ever! What we decided for our main entree is: Chicken Yaki Yaki Love-- "stunning" large portion of meat, with its umami and sweetness--a perfectly balanced sauce, lots of vegetables and a huge scoop of rice! Chicken Rice Rice Baby-- again another classic favorite. Large portion of fried rice with a great portion of meat, excellent! And my husband ordered: The OG Noods Pork Edition--with a rice broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and big chunks of tender pork! I, being the reviewer for the family, get the blessing of trying everything! Despite being full after all of that, we found room in our dessert stomachs to try the Banana fritter sundae--not like the picture, this dish is actually slices of banana wrapped in wontons and fried served on a dish with syrup and I believe possibly honey, with a large scoop of French vanilla ice cream in the center. So not a fritter but delicious, crispy hot wontons served with al a mode with syrup and peanut. Everyone loved it. Though I would make a SPECIAL NOTE: about the ice cream having crushed PEANUT on top none of us are allergic but I'm not a fan of peanut so I just ate around it. And it is NOT listed on the menu, for anyone that may have an allergy. The family working here are so nice stopping by to check on us and chatting a bit! The people and the food are amazing, so without a doubt we'll be back!!!

Ugh, so so happy there's a Thai/Viet fusion place here at 5 cities now! Before I get to the food review, I have to say that their menu was spectacularly made. I love the symbols of which protein is in each dish. My partner cannot eat beef therefore, it made it easier for us to order! I ordered the House Pho, Spicy Daddy, side Pork soup, and Sticky Mango Bliss. The House Pho was just what I needed. It had lots of meat, broth, and noodles (I still have leftovers!). My partner also liked his dish but did wish it spicier! The Sticky Mango Bliss was delicious, I couldn't get enough of it! Definitely going back again soon!

    Mango sticky rice

Food was AMAZING!! got the drunken noodles with chicken rice rice baby with pork great food the noodles tasted in house made! The egg rolls were also really good and the mango sticky rice is to die for!!! Drove over 2 hours to try this place and definitely will be back! It was a 45minute wait but well worth it! They might have a full house so beware!

I ordered the 'OG Noods Beef Edition'. It's not considered Pho but tastes very similar to it. It was absolutely amazing and I'll definitely be back!

I'm from out of town and found this little place with Mom and Grandma running the show. I ordered the House Pho and it was amazing a good portion of beef and meatballs. The broth was clear and aromatic. If I lived here this would be a weekly visit. Service was excellent and the dining area is clean and inviting. There is a potential for a group of 12 with enough tables to put together. Happy Valentines Day !

The food is awesome and the prices are great. I really like the variety of noods they have and the staff is so kind and helpful. Also adore the sauce tray!! I will definitely be back!

Great service, great food 10/10. My family loves this family run restaurant would highly recommend.

My first experience here was wonderful. Me and my party was 21 people, most of them kids with 3 being babies. The service was great. The 2 ladies and 2 older men were very welcoming. They accommodated our requests and was fast with getting our food out too. And the food was all fantastic. We ordered udon noodles, pad Thai, pho, fried rice, gyoza, mango sticky rice, and Thai teas... and thats just from my side of the table. They were all up to our liking. The pad Thai was light in flavor, not heavy or too sweet. The udon noodles I didn't eat but had a taste of the broth and omg it was delicious. Pho was good aswell but my fiance wished they had chilli oil and fish sauce. Appetizers got demolished by the kids so there's that. And the Thai tea and mango sticky was just right on the sweetness. It was not overwhelming. Would recommend this place. I think it is a nice little restaurant run by a kind family. I hope to visit here again on our next trip to the beach.

Went to grab dinner and there were two other tables seated. The service was fantastic. Patient and friendly servers. The noodles were delicious and the thai iced coffee was divine! I would skip the gyoza and wontons next time since it just tasted like generic fried frozen appetizers. I do regret not trying the dessert so I'll have to be back for that. My reason for the 4 stars was the wait time for the food. With so few parties it shouldnt have taken 30 minutes for the food. That being said, I do prefer to wait for fresh hot food versus quick food that's been sitting and reheated. They have to learn to be a bit quicker to keep up with demand but otherwise it's definitely worth a try!

    Steamed coconut pudding

I visited with a friend for the first time today. I got The OG Noods Pork Edition and they were very good. Lovely savory broth and tender pork. My friend got their Pad se Ew and it was also very good with a light soy flavor. We shared the steamed coconut pudding for desert. The table service was very fast! We were one of two tables and the take away seemed to be quite busy. Can't wait to go back to try more dishes and the coconut ice cream!

Chicken wings-spicy or sweet? very good

Probably one of the most expensive sushi places I've been to. $14 for a Cali hand roll. It was large and the rice had an odd sweet flavor to it? Wasn't a fan. I got the tonkatsu ramen. Only meat, onion, and added tofu. It said it would come with slices but it came with chunks of pork that was boiled.. I wanted the slices. The ramen itself was alright. The gyoza/potstickers were good. Probably my favorite. $9 side of kimchi... it was pretty good. Sadly I don't think I'll be back with these prices.

However, we were told that egg wasn't available at the moment and so we weren't able to taste that and saved an extra $2.50 off our bill (expensive for just one egg). We were told that since they just opened, the food would take longer than expected (roughly around 15-20 minutes). However, to our surprise it came in 10 minutes! Now for the food review, it was okay. The ramen was bland and not spicy at all. I had let the server know that it wasn't spicy as was promised and expected and if we could have some spice to add onto it. He came back with a little side of just chili oil, this was a regretful addition because we later found out that it's an additional $1.50 for such a small amount of chili oil, ridiculous. I don't think I'll be returning due to surge in additional prices that we were not aware of and the fact that the food wasn't good.

Our food was served pretty quickly after each other, but we did notice that the cheeseburger still hadn't arrived. We asked about it and the server apologized and let us know it was missed. The cheeseburger was delivered pretty late into the meal and when the rest of us were almost done with our appetizers. For the food, everything was okay. The tartare I felt was pretty small. The tenders were my favorite part of the meal and what everyone agreed was the best.

Delicious! Very reasonably priced! Great, friendly service! it's a must visit!…read more We have passed by here many times, but the place never seemed that appealing from the outside. Located right at the corner of a V intersection, but the parking lot is tiny, maybe enough for 6-8 cars max. The inside is not any bigger. With about 6 tables total, it's actually never completely full every time we have been here. What surprises us each and every time is the amount of to go orders they get! Literally, at least 1 call in/walk in/online order every 10-15 mins! Having been to several Thai restaurants on the Central Coast, Tasty Thai is the cheapest so far out of all the ones we've been to here! Their portion is also good for at least a couple dollars cheaper per dish compared to anywhere else! With the exception of the Panang curry, which has great flavor, but just too watery like a soup and not enough veggies/toppings, every single dishes we have tried here have been great to excellent! Our go to dishes every single time are satay chicken 10/10, beef salad 9/10, pad see ew with beef 8/10, and we would make the effort to try a new dish for that second entree. Excellent mom's and pop's restaurant! Give them a try! You will not be disappointed.
