Ski mountain pub food. Not great but will do the trick for lunch. Bar service is super slow so be patient. They can just touch up the food a little and it could be better. The nachos are better with no queso and just extra cheddar instead. The chili is to soupy and has n barely any meat in it - mostly beans. The wings are great!! Hamburger just ok and the fish and chips just ok. Just needs some TLC and this place can be better.

This is a nice bar to kick back and relax after a long day on the mountain. It gets pretty crowded on the weekend. We walked in around 3pm and were told that there was an 1.5 hour wait for a table. Thankfully we were lucky enough to grab a couple seats at the bar that just became available. The beers are overpriced though (about $9.50 each) but surprisingly the hot spiked beverage was only $10. There's also an outdoor deck with a heat lamp where you can sit and watch people skiing down the mountain.

Very so so restaurant. It is located in the middle of a ski resort so it has a captive audience. The staff is very friendly but the food is TGI Fridays on a bad day. Mostly junk food and it isn't high quality junk food at that. We had: - Nachos - they would have been okay but the salsa tasted like someone opened a jar of Old El Paso salsa that was sitting in the refrigerator and dumped it on top of a pile of chips and cheese. - Fried Green Beans - they were average sitting on a bed of wilted lettuce. The dipping sauce was....interesting - Mac n Cheese - ziti noodles with cheese sauce. My daughter was unimpressed. - Pasta with Butter - ziti noodles with butter, basic. - Garden Salad - basic but then again, it is a garden salad. - Pulled Pork sandwich - loaded with grizzle. As I said before, the staff was extremely friendly but that didn't compensate for the so so food.

Good service & atmosphere. Food not so much; BBQ sauce needs work. Pulled pork dry as a bone. Onion soup very good though.

Been driving past for six years and finally stopped. Let me stress, we arrived at 5 PM…read more Extensive selection of beers, including over 20 on tap. We are ordered the double dip, Buffalo chicken and spinach artichoke. It took over twenty minutes for the dips, even tho the place was half empty. We had a feeling the entrees would arrive shortly and we were right. Halfway thru the dips the entrees arrived. Chicken piccata was bland, and the pasta was overcooked. The sauce was watery and there was only a slight taste of lemon. Not at all what it should have been. Haddock was obviously fresh, but again, bland. Served in a bath of butter, but no herbs, no discernible seasoning. Services was attentive, beers were cold, if somewhat overpriced. Don't know that I'll be back.

10/18/25 second visit…read more I said to the owner that we were here for 7 days and came to Olde Forge two times. This is certainly the place to hit while in the Berkshires. This is the old world tavern feel. I love the entrance with the brick walls and saloon doors to the dining. The bar I'd loaded with patrons and you can see all the beer steins hanging above head. Tonight I started with their delicious maple old fashioned! Then I ordered their onion soup....delicious. We also ordered the nachos which were per her as well. I asked Ashley our waitress what the signature dish was, she said the wings so we ordered a dozen. They were outstanding and delicious, crispy! For dinner I got their delicious burger with bacon and cheddar and fries, great stuff. My friends had the pork shoulder which they said was delicious and looked tender. My wife had the butter buttered chicken sandwich which She enjoyed. Again, this is a must hit spot. Go early and catch the sunset on the porch! Ashley was an awesome waitress and very friendly. 10/13/25 We had an awesome dinner at Olde Forge. Jessica our waitress took great care of us and her service was spot on. It's been a few days since we were there so I don't remember all the dishes, my apologies. I do regret the Mac n cheese was delicious and creamy! The quesadilla was great as well. My glazed steak was spicy and delicious, very tender. We will be back before heading back to NY. Highly recommended!

Best part of this place was probably the beautiful views! Worst service ever and food was just…read moresub-par. The best part of it was the drinks and the appetizer. We ordered fairly on time. No water, no bread. Had to ask for water. Our appetizers came quickly. The caprese salad was delicious. Then about a half an hour later our waitress comes out advising they were out of the venison. My husband had ordered it. She left to get the menu (when she should have had it with her) came back, my husband ordered the haddock. She said ok, left and came back about five minutes later advising that they were out of that too. At this point my husband had to look at the menu. Our waitress apologized for the inconvenience and explained how more than several dishes were not available and that they had to close the restaurant an hour earlier due to this. My husband settled on the salmon. By the time we got our food, it was cold. I ordered scallops. And I should have taken a picture - it was pathetic. It looked like an appetizer it was so small. The asparagus was cold, and the scallops had no flavor. I ate a few bites but it was so disappointing. The salmon was also just ok. Nothing special. Our waitress assured we would get dessert fast if we wanted it but we didn't wanna bother considering everything. She apologized again, saying she would talk to the manager and that he would come over to talk to us. He never did come over. They took off my scallops from the bill at least. But this was by far the worst experience ever. A few small suggestions and the experience may have been better - provide water at the beginning, we shouldn't have had to wait 1/2 an hour to get some, bring us the bread, we shouldn't have to ask for it and during the wait it should have been offered as a courtesy for the absurd long wait and frustration for not having the meal my husband wanted, and if you say a manager would come over, they should come over. The meal started out ok but it just got worse and worse. My husband and I paid our bill quickly and left. He had to get me food elsewhere as I was still very hungry.
