Went here and my spouse was sitting at a table outside to feed our infant son. Waitress slammed a "Reserved" sign on that table and my spouse got up and moved to a different one, again, feeding our child. It was not at all busy. I ordered a to go order and it had an automatic gratuity lol. We were told we couldn't sit with a to-go order despite it not being busy (And I mean like, one guy at the bar, not busy) and open tables all around because it's for "Tipping" customers. Yeah rude-holes you got a tip, that's what 8% gratuity is. Scumbag business and terrible and rude wait staff. Food was not priced as advertised on the website, and for $36 the lobster roll was abysmal. See the way they respond to reviews on google. They are awful, I would never go back unless it was to dine and dash so I could recoup some of my money lol. read more

Average service, average food, higher than average prices. Went for dinner and the place was half empty. It was loud and the voices echoed everywhere. The hostess seated us quickly and was very pleasant. We've been there before and it was nice; maybe it was an off night. I did notice that the prices for were significantly higher than last time. We got the cod Reuben and smash burger. Rueben was the best we ever had. The smash burger was the worst we ever had. Total meat in the burger was less than 2 oz and cooked to a crisp. Bun to burger ratio was way off and not worth $15. Tasted just like crispy thin beef with jam. Would go again for drinks and the view not the food. read more

Stopped by last night for our anniversary dinner. We were greeted and sat right away. Everyone was very friendly. The food was delicious. Clam chowder was good. My husbands steak tips smelled amazing. He said they were cooked perfectly (well done.) Drinks we're good. Service was a tad slow so maybe avoid if you're in a rush but we were enjoying our kid free time so it didn't bother us. Will definitely go back! read more

I went to the Lakeside with a few friends for drinks and appetizers. Two of us ordered bone-in wings. We both got boneless. No biggie. They were pretty good, so we just rolled with it. the bill came to 90 some dollars, and we left an $18 dollar tip- almost 20%. Well my friends left before I did, and as I was walking to my bike in the lot, the waitress followed me outside to confront me about the tip that I left. She didn't see the "1" and thought that I just left $8. I pointed out that it was $18 and it was a more than adequate tip. She didn't respond. She just turned around and walked inside. I have never had waitstaff follow me outside to challenge me about the tip. Especially considering it was well over the standard 15%. I can't imagine ownership would be ok with this and I hope they take action to rectify it, however it will be too late for me. There is no way I will patronize a restaurant where the staff follows me to my vehicle to (mistakenly) complain about the tip that I left. read more

Lobster roll was the special here. I opted for the pastrami sandwich and washed it down with Berkshire Brewing Company's classic extra pale ale, Steel Rail. Everything was very good. Despite being short staffed, the waiter was friendly and service was excellent, no delays. I recommend this pet friendly (outside only) restaurant is a must visit. read more

Lakeside is a beautiful, chill, and great place to take in a sunset over the lake. Service is SLOW so know that going in. But, if you're not in a rush, and you shouldn't be to enjoy the sunset, then it's perfect. Despite their website not noting it, they do have a full bar, with very reasonable prices. $6 beers? OK! The food is pretty good and they worked with me on my lobster roll so that I could have it without Mayo, etc. (Although I saw some of their standard lobster rolls go by and they looked great too!) More than anything, it's so nice to sit on their deck at the lakeside and talk to friends and family as the sunsets. This place is a real treat. Do yourself a favor and give yourself a gorgeous sunset on the lake at the Lakeside Bar & Grill. read more

Visited this place after an event at Mt Greylock. Decent looking place with a deck overlooking the water. As the sign indicated, we stood at the door waiting to be seated. The staff walked by us for 10 minutes without any acknowledgement. They simply walked by us over and over again. Eventually we just left. Another couple came in as we were leaving and was seated right away. we certainly didn't feel as if we were welcome. Admittedly, we look a little different than most of you and your customers. Makes you wonder.... Nonetheless, there are other restaurants in the area. read more

And who serves carrots with lobster? What are the steamers first completely overcooked. What an absolute disappointment. The waitress was lovely but she couldn't get any drinks from the bartender we waited 25 minutes for our first drink and to get a second beer it was almost a half an hour. Waited over 40 minutes for our food. Sat all that time with no offer to refill our beverages. The food was excellent but we waited way too long. They were busy, but we were ignored too much; waitress never came back to check, Food not good, a bit high in price,. One was served , then the rest of the party-4- were served 1/2 hour later. We dined here a few weeks ago. This was our first dining experience since the re-openings in MA. Only outdoor dining was available which is beautiful at this restaurant. The view on the lake is so pretty. They have 2 decks with picnic tables instead of tables and chairs. We both ordered seafood Alfredo. They accommodated my request to have mine over broccoli instead of pasta. There was a decent amount of seafood. My husband wasn't a fan of the Alfredo sauce. It was rather greasy. We were a little disappointed with the fact that we were served in tin to go trays. It may have been for sanitary reasons but it definitely didn't add to the experience. Quite frankly, after 3 months of takeout due to shutdowns, I was looking forward to a plated meal out. Our waitress was pleasant and service was adequate but not exceptional. Overall it was a little too casual for the cost. I guess we were paying for the view but you can have the view for free a 1/4 mile down the road. read more

The new name is Lakeview Bar and Grill. We used to love the seafood at Reilly's but the new owners have ruined this place. If you just want a drink, it's probably fine, but at a recent visit we were very disappointed by the quality of food we were served. To begin, they have knocked out the wall between the bar and dining area. It was very busy in the bar and very noisy. It was hard to have a conversation. We waited 20 minutes to be served our drinks, when I could clearly see the bartender chatting away and serving folks who came in after us. A very young waiter offered no feedback when we reminded him about our drinks. Although the menu is the same, the food is completely different. The coleslaw was bland and tasteless. The seafood was obviously right out of the freezer and the lobster salad is no longer anything close to what it once was. Also, the prices have gone up to add to our dismay. This place has a lovely deck overlooking the lake, so if you go for drinks it will be fine. However, eat somewhere else! read more

Five in our group; one order missing entirely, one ice cold/soggy fried clam dish, one grossly over priced, small and inedible pile of mush on a hot dog roll amusingly named "lobster roll", one BLT missing a key namesake ingredient (yes it is possible to screw up a BLT) and an iffy turkey club. To say there is not one redeeming quality to this place, would be too kind .... well maybe the view. According to our server who incessantly repeated "its not my fault", kitchen staff and manager walked out, was shut down for a week, no manager or owner on site.
