Two weeks ago I went to my hairdresser I've been going to for three years. I asked her to do a balayage for me, and apparently she didn't know what she was doing. I needed to find a professional who could fix the dis tater. I was helped by Alex who was totally awesome and down to earth. She has an incredible talent for color and aesthetic. She was able to turn my horrible fried blond hair into a gorgeous warm brunette balayage. I will be coming to her from now on. She is definitely worth the time and money. The salon was decorated well and was very hip, the business has a lot of large bay windows which provide natural light which is really important for seeing colors. Overall for my experience I give it a five out of five. :) read more

This salon has DOZENS of independent stylists and technicians, making it very easy to find the exact talent you are looking for. I have visited multiple times and have yet to be disappointed. It is a very clean place with a great atmosphere on the main level for hair and nails, and a soothing, relaxing space upstairs for all massage and spa services. The salon is pretty nice, but to be honest, I've been too busy gazing at Jennie's hair talent to notice anything else. I've been seeing Jennie for 3ish years and let me tell you: she will make you believe in magic. I've been blonde, pink, purple/pink ombré (I'm referring to my hair, not my aura), and she has executed all my aesthetic whims with enthusiasm and delight! I also tried to dye hair by myself once, and she forgave me after laughing at my stupidity (ok not the last part). In all seriousness, Jennie loves what she does, and it's evident in her work. This is probably one of the best salons in Schaumburg. I see Jennie and she is so knowledgable of hair trends, color and all things beauty. In my experience, she creates amazing color every time; you show her a picture and she will match it. Services I received are highlights, highlights + lowlights, blonde highlight and vanilla blonde lowlight balayage, blonde highlight & darker blonde balayage, and of course, haircut + blowout. I went to Seasons, as I was looking for something in the area so I didn't have to drive to the city every time I wanted a haircut. I had chosen to chop off about 9-10 inches, so was a bit nervous. Jenny did a great job, the service was efficient, the salon is clean, and she was very patient with me when I kept going back and forth on what I wanted for my bangs, layers, etc. Overall I am very pleased with my haircut and will likely be going back the next time I need a trim :) read more

I absolutely love the salon and the entire staff. Everyone is really friendly, professional, listen to you so you get what you want and its very clean. I have not seen everyone there for treatments, but the few people I have, have been wonderful. By far the best no chip manicure is done by Yola. I have gone to most of the salons in Schaumburg and can truly say no one does nails better then Yola. Gina is fabulous with cuts and styles. Have been going to her for years. Kayla is amazing at massage. The spray tan there is also great. Finally, the last treatment I had here was a facial and have had 4 friends go in after me to see Yola. Unfortunately I have to give only 1 star. Been back a couple of times to get touch ups that have turned out poorly, haircuts that leave you wondering just what exactly you paid for. Last haircut I could have done at home myself-not kidding. No shape or style to it as she was running really late with clients. Not sure if Jeannie is just to distracted between her phone and pushing clients through her day to get done or what the deal is. This isn't a communication problem, brought in pictures to show style verified the same color mixture was being used...ending with color that was not the goal and haircuts one would get at a name brand chain. read more

Horrible! No stars, it doesn't have that feature, but it should! After getting good highlights done by Carmelina, I returned this past week to get a root outgrowth touch-up.. BIG MISTAKE!!! First, she dyed it way too dark. Like black. I called both the salon & Carmelina. She had me come in today, to add some foils (more highlights) on the dark part..Well, she way overlightened it, put in way too many foils, it's very stripe-y & my hair, which's long is RUINED now, over the holidays on top of everything! The owner was there when I first got there, she did not say a word to or even acknowledge me! Now I'm sitting here on Xmas Eve w / a burning scalp, ruined hair, scared & upset. I left messages for both of them, I know it's a holiday but they (either one) couldn't acknowledge me & say I'll get back to you? Nah, not important, got my $ & ruined my hair & holidays Thanks for less than NOTHING! Hope no one else has to suffer this. By the way, when cutting someone's hair, maybe you should clean it up first instead of making someone step in it to sit in the chair. read more

Went in for a facial by Carmela. Trying to relax and she's talking about her personal life, night clubs, bars, partying etc. I don't need to hear anyone else's issues with men. I have my own issues and I thought I was going for a relaxing service. Isn't getting a facial supposed to be relaxing ??? She asked if the steam was okay I told her perfect I am just looking forward to relaxing. She didn't get the hint. Okay all talking aside...my face didn't even look or feel like I had a facial ....she was more there for the socialization. I will not be returning to this spa again. The hair cutting and coloring side did seem a little more professional but if they have someone like Carmela working on people, I really don't want to waste any money there. Most of the time was spent with her standing there and yapping away. She rushed thru the actual service. First time we met. Super awkward ! She just kept talking and talking and talking. Reminded me of an unseasoned esthetician fresh out of beauty school. She did seem like she was in her late 40s trying to be 21 again. I guess once the door closes, the owner doesn't know what's going on in that room. I Hoping the owner of this place takes this review seriously. Another client was getting into her car as I was leaving and asked me what I had done and I told her and she said she wouldn't book with Carmela again because of that same drama in the room. Love Seasons Salon! I had a girls spa day there with some of my girlfriends on a Sunday and it was perfect! We had the whole place to ourselves. There were 12 girls there with services ranging from haircuts, hair coloring, massages, and mani-pedis. Autumn did the hair and did an amazing job. Yola did mani-pedis. I have gone to Yola for a long time, she's the best! Kayla did my massage and it was pefect! Everyone loved the spa and their service. We brought in our own food and drinks and had a great time!
