My hair is long, and I can't look at myself in the mirror because I appear untidy. I need a haircut to make myself more presentable for society. I couldn't wait any longer, which is why I went immediately to the salon, in hopes they were going to accommodate walk-ins. When I arrived, the stylists were already working on their clients. So I sat in the lobby, waiting patiently and expecting they'd service me eventually. After 5-10 minutes, no one has acknowledged me, which I understand because they're busy and I didn't make a reservation for my cut. My breaking point is when they take a new client instead of me although I was here first and the person was also a walk-in. Still, no one bothered to ask whether they could take me in, so I stormed off, only to have one of the stylists pursue me down outside and assure me they could take me when they finished with the client. When it was my turn, I was swiftly set in the stylist section, where I saw the equipment was filthy and still covered in hair remnants from the prior client. I was happy that the hair stylist cleaned the equipment simply by brushing it before using the clip on me, but I would be more grateful if the stylist sprayed a disinfectant. I just hope I don't catch ringworm after this cut. The entire procedure the hair stylist was making small conversation to distract me from what had happened earlier since I was still furious but my mood changed once I received my hair shampoo the stylist used a hair scalp massager the device was great and helped my entire body relax I was this close to falling asleep. My hairstylist was fantastic. I enjoyed how the stylist empathized to the situation and handled it professionally. This place is located in the Amazon Fresh, Papa Jonh's and HMart mall on Golf so right off the bat it is most convenient! Lots of parking nearby the salon. For kids, I think it is good. My boys liked it and the gentleman working there are nice and takes the time to trim and cut. We went back twice already and will definitely go back as long as my kids like it. Pricing is not outrageous for the kid's haircut. read more

Do not come here! Amy and MJ dont want to cut your hair thin and short. They expect you to come back after less than two weeks! They argue with you and tell you it cannot be cut short. I walked away with not much cut at all! They take cash for huge discount which is tax invasion! read more

My dad and bro like one female stylist the most. I can't remember her name, but her and Jessi provide the best service with styling included with the cut. My husband got a haircut from the owner, Mr. Lee, for our wedding, but I regret taking him here. We waited 30 minutes, which would have been fine if the haircut was worth it. Unfortunately it was rushed without even styling at the end. When my mom brought it up to Jessi, she apologized and said that next time will be better with styling. Then I went with my brother to his haircut, and again the owner gave a rushed cut and did not style his hair at the end. So when booking, specifically ask for a female stylist. read more

I don't trust anyone else with my hair. When in need of Korean groceries (at H-Mart) and a great haircut, stop by Lee's. Most of the hair dressers speak fluent Korean, but there are a few who also can speak English. They always have great music playing there. The ambiance is simple and decent. Men's haircuts are $20 and ladies are $28 (I think). I'd gotten my straight perm there last August. It's February 2016, and my hair is still pretty straight. I came to the store 15 minutes earlier before my reservation time as I had another appointment afterwards. However, 30 minutes after my reserved time passed, I was still waiting. There were several of them, but no one said anything - why I waited so long although I reserved time in advance, or how much longer I needed to wait, nor just a simple sorry or hello. They just peeked at my direction without care. People coming after me got served earlier. I guess if you don't speak Korean, you don't get good service there. read more

The man who worked at the establishment was extremely impolite to my teenage son. He did not treat him like a valued customer and instead spoke to him harshly, using broken English. As a result, I had to leave with my son without getting his haircut. My hair is tangled. After the shampoo and wash, I feel half of my hair is dragged off! I keep telling the "hair stylist" I am hurt,but she is not getting any gentle!! She is blaming my hair is too tangled and dry! (What??? )Also, I think the wash sink is too poor and too high, my neck is sour as hell after the 5 mins wash and pull. I showed pictures to the "hair stylist" of what I want, the length and hair band etc. I prepared that the result will not be like it at all... but when I tell her I want a little bit shorter, she's not happy about it! I struggled to find a good haircut place in the area... somewhere that wouldn't charge me an arm and a leg for a haircut as well as a place that would cut my hair well. This is a Korean owned barbershop. After coming here consistently for 9 months, I like it. THE GOOD They are good at cutting most any hair, wash your hair afterwards, and leave me happy with how my hair is afterwards. They have never hesitated to cut more off when I said it was too long. I'll admit, I don't go in for fancy haircuts and my hair is pretty simple. It's $15 for a men's haircut so it's not crazy expensive and there's never really a huge line during weeknights. THE BAD They don't communicate in English very well. If you want to have someone to talk to during your haircut and don't speak Korean, you probably won't get very far. Since I'm satisfied with the service I get, I'll continually come here until something drastic changes. However, it's probably not the right place for everyone out there. read more

Very easy to walk in for a hair cut, although it's quite busy so they recommend appointments. The Korean ladies here cut hair very fast and it's cheaper than going down to Chinatown! They cut both men and women's hair, wash, blow dry. Also offer perm and color services as well. Come try it out! read more

I got the worst hair perm and hair cut in my life from Mr. Lee. The price for hair perm here is quite expensive and the digital perm I got pretty much disappeared in a few days. The hair cut was also merely so-so. As an Asian, I was hoping that Mr. Lee would know how to handle Asian hair.
