7 of us ate brunch, served until 3 on Sunday. There are different menus, this can easily be found on the website, select brunch or dinner, depending when you're there. Menu is online, no printed menus. So, decide what you want ahead of time if you don't want to be stuck on your phone. You can't order dinner items during brunch or via versa. We ordered many of the items to place in the center of the table so we could taste them all, and they were all pretty tasty. Some better than others. Here goes: Drinks: Water: served in a specialty bottle for the table, looks pretty, no extra cost, easy to pour your refill, tastes like tap water and it says "locally sourced" so yes, that all checks out. Ask for a lemon wedge if you don't like the taste. Coffee: nice presentation, taste is just ok, probably because it's using the locally sourced water. We were served fresh cream and they provided all of the sweeteners we could want, including stevia, which isn't served often. Appetizers: Dipping sauce with pita: warm, crispy pita triangles hummus and tzatziki were creaming and loaded with delicious olive oil. Spicy feta was a little too spicy for some of our table, but for people who love spicy, it's really good. We needed a couple more pitas. Meatballs: hot, tasty, rich and loaded with extra sauce. Caesar salad: delicious, fresh lettuce and perfectly dressed, not overpowered by dressing. Clam chowder: hot, creamy, very good, lots of clams. Dynamite shrimp: table favorite, sweet and spicy sauce, comes with 5 for $18. Calamari: crispy, warm, served with tartar and marinara (so delicious) sauce and banana peppers. Meals: Fish and chips: crispy, hot and not as greasy as many places we've been in New England. We liked it. Chicken and waffles: the fried chicken made this dish, it was perfectly made. Waffle was good, but it got a little soggy from the syrup and chicken, the syrup was poured on it to dress the plate. Blueberries and strawberries were served between the chicken and waffle. I've had this dish at several restaurants, and this one was the best I've had so far. Mixed grill to share: steak, chicken, sausage, lamb with fries. The lamb was the star of this dish, followed by the steak tips. It was served with the trio dips from the appetizer. The meat was served on top of the french fries, which made them a little bit soggy, but the fries that were not soggy were very good. The chicken was a little dry, but the sauces fixed the issue. Dessert: Raspberry donut cheesecake: this dessert only lasted about 30 seconds at our table. It was definitely the dessert, favorite. The creaminess of the cheesecake paired perfectly with the tart of the raspberry and finished with whipped cream. Rolled baklava: sweet, warm and crispy, it was good, but it had a taste that was slightly off in my opinion. Service: they were a little busy, but our waitress was attentive, helped us decide, kind and got the order exactly right. Overall: When we go again, I'll be looking for the lamb, steak, Caesar salad, meatballs, clam chowder, dynamite shrimp and I'm looking forward to trying the zucchini chips, and other items not available for lunch. We also had our eye on the French toast made with sweet bread but our bellies couldn't handle any more food. We will be back. read more

*This review is only about the service* At about 9:30 PM last Saturday, I stopped in Christopher's Kitchen & Bar. I was desperately hungry, so when I was told that the kitchen was closed, I was forlorn. (The kitchen closes at 9 PM, even on the weekends.) The bartender, with the long brown hair in braids, was sweet enough to let me sit at the bar while I planned my next move. She even helped me narrow down my options & gave me a taste of sake. That meant the world to me. So while I can't speak to the food at Christopher's, I can speak to the friendliness of the workers there. 10/10. I will be back sometime to eat! Met for dinner and I arrived early. I was immediately escorted to our table and assured they would bring my date when he arrived. The waitress was attentive and I had a glass of wine and menu in no time flat. She checked in me again before my date arrived. When he came in, he received the same level of care. We were off to a good start. The place is very nice, with an understated elegance. The atmosphere is fairly casual and the wait staff very friendly. I ordered the Chicken Marsala with mashed garlic potatoes and asparagus. It's among the dishes I am reluctant to order out, since I make it myself and fear being disappointed. (Mine is that good!). He ordered the Baked Haddock with rice and sautéed spinach. Both meals were fantastic. They were generous portions that we were able to finish, both feeling comfortable full. When this place opened it was a big deal in Woonsocket. Had visited 2 or 3 times and had a good time and remember the food was good also. As others have mentioned, the original owner sold to someone else. We had reservations for 7pm on a Saturday and showed up on time and the hostess said nothing. We were seated and an awesome waitress told me what the hostess should have which was that their kitchen was so behind that it would be at least 45 minutes before the possibility of getting any food. They should have told us that the second we arrived. She also told me the entire previous kitchen staff apparently quit. All of this plus very loud bar noise plus having to view the menus on our phones just tells me this is a place that has jumped the shark and I doubt I'll ever go back. Christopher's is a nice, solid option for dining in a part of the state that admittedly doesn't have a lot of fantastic options. With high ceilings, exposed brick, and Edison bulbs, the two-story space is both warm and industrial. There's also a patio on the second floor if you'd like to dine with a view of downtown Woonsocket. The menu skews towards the Mediterranean with a couple of unexpected Asian-inspired appetizers, which are actually some of my favorites. The dynamite shrimp, battered with a spicy sriracha honey glaze, is the sleeper hit of the menu. Also tasty was the salmon tartare with pineapple, ponzu sauce, sriracha aioli, and sesame seeds. The entrees are by and large your traditional Italian/Mediterranean fare. The pan seared salmon, which comes with a broccoli medley, jasmine rice, and a cilantro crema, was nicely cooked and wonderfully crispy. Do I think the menu could benefit from being a tad more adventurous? Sure, but it's all perfectly fine. Overall, the staff is friendly, the drinks are tasty, and the food doesn't disappoint so I will certainly be returning! read more

First trip to the restaurant and what a great meal was had. They have a warm, inviting staff to welcome you and serve you your meal. The restaurant has the decor of a refurbished old factory. Very inviting and warm, giving you a comfortable dining feel. They start you off with water and rolls with butter. It's nice to have access to as much water as you want rather than waiting for your server to come over and ask if you want more. We started with the grilled feta. Great taste, light entrée appetizer drizzled with maple syrup. The two main courses consisted of skewered chicken and baked haddock. The skewered chicken is a preparation they take pride in and it shows. Very tasteful. The haddock too was excellent. A light, nicely seasoned flakey fresh fish. Food: I tried calamari - while very good, I personally thought one of the orders was undercooked, zucchini chips - fun dish. Main dishes looked very good - fish & chips, lamb chops. I'd order those. My order was gnocchi - very good, creamy sauce with beacon and just as described in the menu, presented beautifully. I tried steak tips and they were delicious. I am impressed by the food being as picky as I am. Drinks: hit or miss. As I understand some mixed drinks were not as expected. My beer was good, a pumpkin on draft with a sugar rim. Overall, great! CHRISTOPHER'S KITCHEN and BAR is PERMANTLY CLOSED!!!! This restaurant, which we use to frequent on a weekly basis, sold about a year ago. The new owners couldn't replicate the food, service and neighborhood feel of the previous owners and temporarily closed their doors to regroup. After about a month long shutter, they opened again and remained so up until mid December, 2024. At that time, they permanently closed down again without warning to the public. Many gift cards were sold by the restaurant during the pre-holiday season leaving many loyal customers losing hundreds of dollars in gift cards . The RI Attorney General has been notified to try and recoup these lost funds. read more

Christophers was recommended to us by a friend who frequents often. He recommended the zucchini chips, phenomenal. They were actually my favorite part of the night. Thinly sliced and fried in the lightest batter served on top of tzatziki sauce. My husband got the mixed grill it was delicious. Variious meats served within grilled pitas, hummus and tzatziki sauce with fries. The steak tips were his favorite that is what he plans to get the next time we come. Came here for Brunch and then Dinner. Brunch had bottomless mimosas until 3pm. Pretty much a great deal if you intend to start your Sunday Funday off with a bang. I tried the shakshuka. Not as good as Julian's but it definitely hit the spot. The portion is monstrous... definitely will feed 2 people really well. For dinner, I had oysters for app and split the mixed meat plate. Oysters were decent. Everything on the mixed plate was great except the sausage... just didn't have the same level of flavor as the chicken and steak. Drinks were great... Our second visit and definitely not our last! Came after a recommendation from a friend for Buck-a-shuck Thursday and the oysters were just what the doctor ordered. We split the zucchini chip appetizer which was also great. Lastly we split a pizza. Everything we ate exceeded our expectations. We sampled quite a view menu options. Zucchini Chips we're done perfectly and paired so well with the tzatziki. Shrimp were huge and had the most amazing sauce. The Antipasto platter was so cute and the perfect starter choice. Gnocchi were little pillows of heaven with a dreamy sauce to match. The real star of the night has to be the Vodka sauce lobster for 2. From walking in, to being seated, served and food it's really top notch. Always very professional and clean. Get a reservation because they always book out. Walked in was greeted, I gave my name, said I had a reservation and was seated immediately. Service was fast and efficient. Payton is THE best waitress EVER! First I ordered the Tuna tartare appetizer. Fresh sashimi grade tuna, chopped on a bed of avocado and goodness. FANTASTIC! Then I ordered the Mediterranean surf and turf. I love the fact that they carry a Greek liqueur called Tsipuro nobody carries that I mean nobody! I really do appreciate that! They also carry nice Greek wine! Soooo in love with this place, and can't wait to go back!!! My husband and I stopped there on a whim on a Saturday night without a reservation and were seated right away with no issues!! The entire staff was super friendly and a man who I assume is the owner (?) stopped by our table a couple times throughout our visit to ensure we were pleased!! The decor is beautiful - modern but comfortable. There's a bar on both floors, and upstairs has a lovely chandelier and sparkling fireplace. Will take more pictures next time!! We were promptly brought cold water in a glass bottle which is sourced specifically for their restaurant. So unique!! Along with the water came fresh dinner rolls that were warm and soft. We started off our meal with the house made spreads and tried all three. Plenty of grilled pita was provided and the dips were scrumptious!!! My favorite was the feta, which is my current addiction! I ordered the Caesar salad with steak tips added - I don't know what they use as a marinade but it was out of this world. Place is beautiful. Server was great! We started with zucchini chips and buck a shuck. The tzatziki sauce with the zucchini chips was superb! Husband and I split the cold lobster roll (no pictured) and the steak tips. I did sun mashed for the fries. I was all fried out this week. Our daughter got a cheeseburger with fries and pickles.
