I travel to Lexington a lot for work. BBQ is what everyone thinks of when I mention Lexington, NC but for me it's Christo's! I love their food! When I order a Togo salad it is stacked full of food and all fresh. Bacon cheese fries are the best on the days I'm craving grease! Prices are more than reasonable for the mount of food they give you! They also deliver from this location! Staff is always friendly as well! Way to go Christo's! read more

Our waitress was really nice, and made me feel very welcome. I chose to go with the pizza buffet, as well as order some wings. The wings weren't phenomenal, but they weren't awful. I ordered the Christos Burger and Cheese sticks for delivery. The price is reasonable and I'm super happy there's no delivery fee! The burger is plain and I'm confused why they used a whole lettuce shell for the burger. The fries are plain too and usually I'm able to finish fries in less than 5 mins, but with these?? ehhh, they're mediocre. The cheese sticks were great though, and the best part of the meal I got. All in all, I probably won't buy another burger from here again, but if I do ever happen to come across this place, I'll just order appetizers for a meal and call it a day. read more

The guy who owns this place really doesn't care about his food or customers! My wife just want a place where we can get a cold draft beer and some decent bar food. It is only because of the excellent service by Amanda and before her Crystal in the bar that we receive that we put up this place. The owner is sitting on a gold mine with this place if he'd just improve the bar and food quality. Lets count all the reasons this place really needs a major make over. First you have to go to the back of the restaurant to go up into the bar, crazy. Second there are only a few tables available yet there is plenty of space if the owner would get rid of the "party room" (ever hear of folding partitions, buddy?) and dump the silly shuffle board game that no one uses. This would open up the place for plenty of tables, dahhh! Then there is the fact they only have something like six beer taps and five of them are for run of the mill beers, Bud Light, ect. The place has the room to expand and double the taps to some good quality local craft beers! Then there is the big problem with food quality which is hit and miss, one week okay...blah...the next terrible...puke! My wife recently ordered some type of chicken salad where the chicken was served on the side of two burnt pieces of chicken which were totally uneatable, could of used them for shoe leather! Not long ago we ordered a Grecian style pizza with bacon and ordered extra cheese and bacon on it. Received a pizza with jalapeno peppers on it instead! Good Lord can't this owner hire cooks that can read English and train them how to cook??? All in all the owner is loosing what could be a gold mine of a business which is sad to see. Though I won't be sad to see a similar place in Lexington open, hopefully someday soon, that offers good bar food at decent prices and a decent draft beer selection and put this place out of business! Not that great. Customer service is horrible. Bartender is slow and non attentive unless she knows you. Has 6 TVs with the NFL Sunday ticket on only 3 of them. Was showing 2 games that were on local channels on two of the three TVS that had the NFL ticket. When asked if we could make arrangements and change things I was told no. They were here first. Mind you there were two people watching each of the local games. 5 people in the bar total. 3 unused TVs. We left. Which at that moment we represented 30% of he business in the place. Great job by the bartender. Waste of money on the NFL ticket and let customers walk out the door, twice. Wow. read more

Mediocre at best . Slower service than it should have been for being almost empty. Plate not quite hot but not cold enough to return. Had to wait ill almost done to get my requested condiments. The burger was mostly bun and overcooked. Meatball plate was tasty but a bit dry. Wings supposed to be extra crispy weren't although decent hot sauce. We liked sitting in the bar area but it could use a good cleanup and too many cigarette butts outside. read more

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. Being new to the area, we were pleased to find a delivery restaurant. And we are very glad to find their pizza. We love the Works pizza. But heres what, as I have come to know them a bit better, some things have come up. One being a hidden delivery charge. I am not adverse to paying a delivery charge at all, and theirs is only 2 out of certain range and 1 in. So that is not going to kill anyone, but no one told us. Ever. Not on the menu nor mentioned when you order. And I am too busy to scrutinize the receipt. The cost being low also allowed it to squeak by. And we are very close, they were charging the 2 and should have been charging 1. Why this matters is transparency. I do not pay with a bad card or check, sooo. But the other thing is the wings. I like the sauce but if I had to swear, they seem to be double dropped. They splinter, dryly in your mouth. Something is wrong. Listen, you can get away with that but really? If not double dropped way overcooked. Do you want to grow your business or become the Baptist church. For every new person another stops. We have reached the point we are rarely ordering. Even if you reduce your profit margin, overall you will grow your customer base. The reviews here and so forth reflect what we feel over and over. read more

I have been a loyal Chistos customer for years until now . The service is now pathetic at best . If you don't order the buffet plan to wait . Took 40 mins. to get a hamburger & fries and simply asked for a double order of fries when I ordered and the girl told me she couldn't since it wasn't on the menu . When it came time to leave everyone in our party ( 18 people) had to have there checks re-done because of mistakes and overcharges . Food quality has deteriorated too . read more

We order a delivery from Christos at least 3 times a month. We usually get the Ribeye, baked potato , corn and salad. Oh yeah, and garlic bread!! Used to eat here pretty regular and was a family favorite but lately it has been off. After last night we will never go back. I now see why my last here few visits the business was half what they normally had. Food was horrible, wings undercooked, and rubbery ,kids buffet was stale. The pasta that was ordered comes with salad and bread but the bread never came and salad came with meal and wasnt fresh. The kids buffet comes with pasta and one of them arrived after meal was done with check and to go boxes. No apologies or offer to make things right. My inquiries as to if there was new help in kitchen were blown off. Had of service and good a few weeks ago and contributed it to just an off night, but several times in a row there is clearly something else going on. Asked if I could speak to a manager or have a number I could speak to one and was told to take a menu. No wonder nothing ever lasts in Lexington read more

Not a fan of the pizza, but my kids love it! What I can tell you about is the staff! Some of the best people I have seen in the industry. Crystal has to be the best waitress EVER! My son loves her! The very fist time she waited on us he asked for spaghetti and the rest of us had buffet. She brought his plate out then cut it for him so we could actually eat a hot meal. Being a parent of small children I have only had this happen once before...it is wonderful. Every time we go in she always has a huge for my boys and can stop and speak if just for a minute. The take out staff is also great! The ladies at the counter and window always ask how my kids are and how is work going. That personal service is a plus! The salad bar is amazing always cold! I love the dressing, I don't know what they do so different from everyone else but it really makes things better! Keep up the good work! read more

Hit and Miss - that's what I've found when I go to Christo's for lunch. One time, the buffet will be fully stocked, the next time you'll have one pizza with only a couple of slices left to choose from. Even though they have several choices of dessert pizza on the menu, you can rarely find any on the lunch buffet.The service is typically slow and the wait staff can't keep drinks refilled. The buffet price including a drink is not a bargain if you prefer not to drink carbonated beverages either! Not my favorite place to go for lunch with a group! read more
